I bought these (my first pair of rain boots) for my trip to Vancouver and I am so happy I did. They are highly durable, comfortable, and stylish. Especially for guys who don't like the look of those awful galoshes with cheesy prints on them. There is no insulation so get yourself some thick wool socks. They do seem to run almost a full size big so keep that in mind. I'm a short guy 5'6" so I opted for these versus the original ones, these hit me at the shin. Overall love my Hunter boots and I can tell they will last me a lifetime.

Absolutely love these boots! Perfect for rainy and non rainy days. Runs about a half size large, but other than that, no complaints at all.

These are wonderful boots. My husband loves the pull-on tabs. He says the boots are very comfortable and keep his feet dry at the muddy dog park. They ooze quality and I'm sure they're built to last.

As others have said, these do run a size large. I normally wear an 11 or 11-1/2 and the 10s were perfect for me, even with a fairly thick sock (which you'll need in the winter). These boots really stand up to the weather, have a nice large calf so you can tuck your pants in and are pretty comfortable. You should buy the boot spray to keep them shiny and pliable.

Great rain boots! I've been through 2 pairs of less expensive boots and they both failed! I decided to pay up for rain boots that would last me more than one season so Hunter was what I chose. I originally purchased the tall but my thick calves wouldn't allow them to go on! They looked like sausages! Zappos was the best when I opted to exchange them for the short boots and thank goodness! They're super comfortable. One complaint which I read from other reviewers is that if you wear them with short socks or under your pants the back does tend to rub against the skin and cause a blister. Other than that super comfortable and really great boots!

I bought these for my husband, and he loves them. Perfect for city life and walking to work. Well worth the price! Wish I had bought them sooner.

Perfect boots for rain or snow. These are classic and will surely stand the test of time for years to come. I used them for the last few snowfalls and have begun to venture into my very muddy garden with them. Warm socks are a must, they do not offer much insulation. Enjoy!

I love Zappos.com, I ordered a size 8 (mens) and Got them within two days. They were a bit tight and I really needed an 8.5 but of course there no "half sizes". I got the 9 the very next day and it fit next to perfect. Very comfortable. I put a sole cushion in the bottom and it is perfect. I can't wait for the rain! These boots are winners!

This is the boot for the winter we had. You can wear it day-in and day out - comfortable and durable. Great item.

I posted a review of the Hunter 'Shorties' a month ago. Still loving the boot. A good thick wool sock will go a long ways to keeping your feet warm in snow and ice, and now as the mess is thawing, they are doubling up nicely (with lighter socks) as rain boots. Actually, I should say mud boots. Regardless, a nice "multi-tasking" ability over snow boots with fur, leather or suede.

These boots are great! Keep my feet totally dry in the snow and slush. They don't have much insulation, so be sure to wear thicker socks with them, but I highly recommend. They are also the perfect height for men. My only complaint is the shipping. They said 3-5 business days and it took 6 business days. Kind of annoying in the middle of a snowy winter.

Zappos has an excellent selection of Hunter boots. I ordered a pair of the original short boot for my husband for Christmas. The boots arrived within 48 hours of ordering. As it turned out, I ordered the wrong size, and Zappos could not have made it easier for me to exchange the boots. My husband now has his his new Hunter boots which he has used almost constantly since we have had a blizzard every week since Christmas. I own 3 pairs of Hunter boots myself, and could not be happier with them.

Love them, they are Wellies after all. Not much support though so can be tiring after long hours gardening. Easy clean up with a hose!

I can trounce through deep puddles and snowdrifts with ease and get complements on them frequently. they do feel a bit big around the calf, but that works well for tucking in your pant-legs and wearing thick socks (they're not very insulating). thoroughly pleased.

These are great boot. They will keep your feet dry all day. These are comfortable enough to wear all day long.

Ran fairly close to size for me. I wear the boots when I walk my dog through the mud and muck, and are great in streams as well. Easy to hose off. For colder weather I recommend buying the fleece sock liners (although the liners are generic, they call them for 'women'. For guys, simply get a large and you'll be fine), and the boots double up for snow duty. My feet are warm. Worth the extra money over generic ones at local Sporting Goods stores. Zappos includes free shipping and returns in their price, hence the extra discount over Nordstroms.

What a great product and just in time for the snow. With over 20" of snow in 3 weeks these boots kept my feet dry, warm and no slips. I may have to get a 2nd pair in another color!

Very pleased with these boots. I needed a lightweight and waterproof solution, that I could wear to/from the office, on days that the streets of Manhattan are wet and or snowy/slushy. This boot is perfect for my needs. Hunter boots are practical, comfortable and stylish (I tuck my slacks into the boot). Two recommendations: -Prepare to wear wool socks, the boot itself is not insulated and the rubber conducts the cold temperature. -Definitely order a size smaller than your regular shoe size. Even with a size smaller you'll still be able to wear thick wool socks. I find a pair of long ski socks do the trick, especially on cold days. Finally, Zappos didn't disappoint. Ordered Saturday night, received Tuesday afternoon.

Nice looking boots and comfortable too. I've seen these Hunter boots at other stores and most of them had a layer of white powder on them (blooming). The pair I received from Zappos was perfect!

Great boots. As others have said they run a little big - I ordered 1/2 size smaller than my tennis shoes, I could probably have gone a full size smaller. I am using my 'Super Feet' inserts with these boots and they are as comfortable as my running shoes. As always Zappos was amazing! Ordered on Saturday December 25th and the arrived on Monday - how do they do that?

I had done a lot of research on rain boots, and landed on the Hunter boots. I mainly wanted a pair of boots that would work for walking my dog, brewing beer, and regular old rain duty and the Hunter Shorts seemed to fit the bill. My fiancee got them for me for Xmas, and I must say I am impressed. They are very nice, and comfortable, but not very warm. Just make sure you put on some thick socks and you will be golden. They feel like they will last about 20 years, just get some thick wool socks and you will be golden.

Very pleased with product, as well as service from Zappos. Only negative comment on the Hunter Boots is the smell of rubber - must let them air-out before putting in the coat closet - very strong rubber odor.
