This is one of the best winter boots I've ever owned! The fit is true to size, comfortable,very waterproof, rugged non-slip soles, great quality leather and super warm for extra cold days or nights. Great to wear almost anywhere. They may not be a "fancy" boot but they are really stylish with skinny jeans or leggings. I own these boots in black and brown. I've received many compliments.

Love this boot! Finally, a tall boot that is leather and waterproof and fits my thin legs. Usually, a my calves swim in tall boots. This one is perfectly narrow for me.

My boyfriend bought these for me in black 3 years ago and I still love them. They are comfortable to walk around in all day, they keep my legs warm and are versatile for casual outfits. I wear them over my skinny jeans and under my boot cut jeans. I wore them out in a rare foot of snow in Texas the first year I had them and the only water that got in was through the cloth around the zipper. I am considering ordering them in brown!

I like Timberland for their environment policies and mostly USA made footwear is hard to find. Unfortunately, I find their wide boots are just not wide enough for me. I am a 9W, but have never found a Timberland 9W that fits. These boots have a kind of clunky, kickin' around town look, but really aren't for business attire. I personally like the look, but just can't wear them comfortably.

Sturdy shank, very comfortable footbed (arch support like that in my tennis shoes), and warm without being stuffy. I was very pleasantly surprised with these. I had one person comment that they were like "moto" boots and another that they were like riding boots. They are a nice intersect of the two styles. Note that the toebox is rather long and that might be a look you're not going for, but I liked it; I have medium/narrow feet. Leather (black) is, like most rain-resistant leathers, a little duller than ideal, but the color is at least consistent (so, good quality dye job).

Fabulous boots, but they are huge! Even though I'm a standard, consistent size 8, I needed a 7.5 which still make my feet look big. Great price and quality, so I think I'll keep them.

This boot is a good quality leather boot but it runs too much and long. I have skinny feet. I'm normally wearing 7.5m for high heel and 8m for flat of ninewest. But for this one I can wear 7w with thick soak and still have room for toe box. The look is more like working boot but classy. When I first tried it was difficult to put on but it getting better with the 3 times to put on.

Love these boots! Seem to fit foot true to size and they fit tight to the calf (I may have larger than normal calves?) - anyway, that's the fit I wanted. May not be able to tuck in jeans, but for a skirt and leggings they are great! Very happy.

Ordered these boots Friday night and they were at my door Monday morning. I love how fast Zappos gets their items to you. All my boots are 8 1/2 (normal width), but after reading the reviews here, I went ahead and ordered an 8 wide. The boot is still a bit too big/long in the toe and makes my heel slip up when I walk. Was going to order the 7 1/2 wide, but they're sold out. I'm really surprised the size 8 was too big. All of my shoes/boots/sandals are either 8 1/2 - 9. Also, just to mention the fit in the calf, as a lot of reviewers had trouble with the fit, the 8 wide was fine for me (my calf is 13 in.), and I had no problem tucking my jeans into them. Boot looked great, felt comfy, just too big/long in the toe. Bummer for me. :(

A very nicely made boot for a person with a calf less than 14". I love them but I can't tuck even skinny jeans into these boots.

Awesome! I bought these in black a few years back, I really wanted them in brown and was so excited that they were available again this year. They are very comfortable and look great. Great buy. They run a tad big. I'm usually a 7 1/2 in boots, 7 in a shoe. I ordered a 7 and they fit perfectly.

Very comfortable and stylish. They work with skirts or pants, and you can wear them outdoors to in. Feet warm outside and no overheating inside. The waterproof is a plus. True to size. I was concerned they may be too causual though they dress up nice. I purchased these to replace my old black Santana boots for work. I work in a medical office and primarily wear skirts. I am excited as they have a hearty enough sole, I will be able to wear them to walk, on snowy streets, to downtown (about 1 mile).

I love this boot. It's become the only one I want to wear. It's fashionable but really comfortable. I am in between an 8 and 8 1/2 and the 8 fit best but keep in mind that I have a very narrow foot and calf so I think it runs pretty true to size or maybe a tiny bit big. I love the chunky heel and that it's functional but still high enough to give me some height. Love these boots!

I own three pairs of these boots (two in black, one in brown). Love the look and the comfort. Got many compliments. First they felt a little bit narrow (I bought the size 7W) but I used a shoe stretch (a spray) and my boots stretched easily and soon. I am buying the fourth pair.

Have already worn these twice. Very comfortable. Would love to order them in black!

I've had these for five years now and they are still my favorite go-to comfort boots. I've used them in every possible weather scenario: snow, rain, sun, sidewalks, hikes, ice, etc... and they are still in really good shape. The leather is a little stained, but that only added to the "rugged" look of the boot. I have wide feet and bad circulation (so my feet are always horribly cold in the winter time). These boots have a great, thick rubber sole that helps keep your feet warm, and also protects against slippery/icy sidewalks. The inside sole is cushioned and offers great support. My only observation is that these boots are heavier than your usual pair of shoes. I'm sold on Timberlad boots after them. If you care about comfort and warmth, but also style, it's a great option.

This is my second time buying this boot and I still love the style and fit. The first pair lasted me about 3 years and I wore them heavily throughout the falls and winters. They are comfortable and need no breaking in...although the leather will get significantly softer as time passes.

I just received these boots - they fit great! I have a large very flat foot (size 9.5 D). My calf measure is 14.75 inches - I walk 6 miles per day - so I am pretty muscular. The boot toe is very comfortable - with a nice size toe box. The leather is a "flat black" with muted buckles. The soles are very sturdy - it should keep me safe in ice and snow. As with all Timberland - the boots are well made - with no imperfections.

Love these boots! I'm the sort of person that walks everywhere and anywhere, so I don't buy boots that just look good, they mostly have to feel good. These fit the bill. Wear all day, hike home in the rain, these are warm and waterproof and comfortable. So far, have lasted me two winter seasons of tough wear and still look great. Five stars.

I bought these boots for a trip to NY, NY in the February and they definitely served their purpose. They looked great with bootleg cut jeans, skinny jeans, dresses and skirts. They kept my feet dry when it rained and very warm. After walking all day in them for about 3 days the balls of my feet hurt so I purchased some inserts and that helped greatly, just enough room for the insert and thick socks too. I love these boots.

Love these boots! Felt snug at first, was going to re-order wide, but they didn't have them, so I walked around a while at home and felt they were sufficiently stretching out. Perfect cross between a roper and riding boot which means I can dress them up or down with ease.

I love these boots; they are perfect with my casual lifestyle, jeans, skirts, dresses all look great with this very comfy boot. I have muscular calves and tender feet but these boots fit very well. Love Zappos!

These boots are perfect...they have great support, they look great with my jeans and also casual skirts...and waterproof for hiking. What could be better?!

These boots are fantastic! They are very practical for our long rainy season, but they also look great and I get compliments every time I wear them. I love the "real" treads on the bottom & the fact that they are waterproof. The fit works great for me -- I got my usual size & do not feel like the toe box is long like others have said in their reviews. Many boots seem too roomy in the calves for me but these are perfect. Good arch support too. I've worn these a lot since getting them and they've held up great so far. I live in the country and can be pretty hard on footwear!
