I love these boots. However they run very narrow and long. I am usually a 8 1/2 medium and those were long and too narrow. I sucked it up and ordered the 8 wide and they fit so much better. So comfortable, beautiful boot that I can wear over jeans. My calves are about 15.5 inches and they fit great! Thanks again Zappos. You never cease to amaze me!

Wow, after purchasing this boot I'm sold on Timberland. Ashamed to admit I've bought 5 additional pairs in the past month. Love this boot. According to other reviews I almost bought an 8.5 (a 1/2 size up for me) but I'm glad I didn't. I have average width feet, but broke a foot many yrs. ago and after several hours of wearing these boots that foot is a little sore which must mean it's (my foot) a tad wider than the other and the boots kind of "hug" your feet. I believe they will stretch with time, if not I will attempt to do it myself. Loved this boot so much I bought the brown and the black. Both are somewhat matte and rugged looking, but the style provides the ability to dress them up or down. I can't believe the support of the sole of the boot. I have high arches and I put these on the first day and walked for hours. LOVE, LOVE! Just be sure to order wide unless you have a narrow-average foot.

I wear these boots almost every day, and I think they are perfect, casual, everyday boots. Hold up great in slush and rain... my feet stay dry and the boots don't pick up water stains. They are also comfortable enough to wear all day long. After about a week of breaking in, I can wear these all day long in my job where I am up walking and standing for 12+ hours a day. The adjustable top is nice as it allows me to wear these with leggings or skinny jeans. Bootleg jeans fit in the boots, but are a little bit uncomfortable around the ankle which is tight. I don't usually shell out this much for shoes, but this pair I think are going to last long enough to be worth it! Great everyday boots.

hese boots just arrived at lightening speed thanks to Zappos. After reading all the helpful customer reviews, I ordered the black in 9.5 (my regular shoe size) and the brown in 9. What people say here is true--the toe box is at least a half size long. That said, though, the regular (B) is narrow, perfect for my very narrow foot. The 9 fits like a glove, with a medium weight sock, but I did have to shoe horn my feet in due to the high instep. I expect that it will soon get much easier, as the leather, which is gorgeous, almost immediately starts conforming to your foot. The black was not available in 9; I'm on the fence and may keep it in 9.5, to wear with two pairs of socks then winter hits full force. The foot ankle portion of the boot is narrow and a close fit; the calf was big on me (13" calves); but the boot is such high quality that I'll live with it. The boot has a "biker" look but is streamlined and still feminine looking. Fantastic arch support, wonderful lug-soles, I can tell that I will walk my dogs in these all winter in the snow! Finally, after buying many pairs of boots from Zappos and sending back some, I can say that you do get what you pay for. These boots are a great price for such comfort and quality.

Love these boots! They're very comfortable. Great with skinny jeans, but too casual for evening. Love that they're waterproof. I have small calves, and they fit perfect. Don't think it can accommodate large calves.

Great boot; runs 1/2 size larger (I typically take a 7M, ordered to 6.5W and it fits great). I love the look, the feel and the fact that it's waterproof is great (these boots compete with my Frye boots which cost twice as much, so you do the math).

I really like them. I wish they were a tad bit taller. I've tried 5 or 6 different pairs and these are great. They are a bit narrow so I bought the wide shoe.

This smooth suede boot looks just like the picture and is very comfortable. I was so pleased that it is waterproof. It looks quite long in the toe area when on my feet and unfortunately the shaft was not tall enough for me and I am 5'-7". It is good looking on and somewhat narrow in the calf area with pants tucked in. It was fine for me but might be tight for bigger legs.

Love! So comfortable immediately! I'm a size 9 and ordered the 9. I agree the toe appears a "tad" too long; however, ankle and calf width are on the snug side with straight leg jeans (need to get skinny jeans now) so I would be afraid to go any smaller. Kept my feet the perfect temperature with my normal thin cotton sock even as I sat for hours in a freezing bus. Love the sole. This boot is comfort and quality down to the brass zippers!

I am 5'3" and wear 7.5 or 8. I tried both, and the 7.5 was better, though pretty snug. A very comfortable boot. Love that it's waterproof.

Great boot, solid traction, nice fit, nice casual style, very comfortable, good heel height and shaft height. More rugged than I'm looking for. I'd hoped I could pull off a dressier look with it, but decided to go with Clarks Cardy (and decided, mid-way through search to go for an overall dressier, higher-heeled boot).

I loved loved these boots...nice leather, soft and comfy...except I couldn't even zip them all the way up! I am so sad. I have man calves. I can't find boots that will zip all the way up if they are leather...only certain synthetic boots will zip. And I want leather. Oh well.

Love, love these boots. I haven't been able to take them off since I got them. Like to buy a black pair so I can match more outfits. It took two wears to stretch out the tight spot on my right foot... after that it feels great!

I really love these boots. Was looking for something a little more casual that I can wear over jeggings. I finally found these! Love the soft, leather material. Like others said they are longer and narrower than usual. I am an 8 1/2 but I am wondering if an 8 wide would fit better. Also someone else mentioned that the buckle on the heel digs into the heel of their foot. Does the same thing for me but I am hoping others were right as well that they will stretch and will fix that with a thicker sock. They def make my foot look long and narrow so I guess thats a good thing. The shaft is also accurate. I have calves about 15 1/2 inches and these fit great. I like them so I will keep them! When I bought these boots I thought they would be nice enough and I liked the fact that they're waterproof. In actuality, they are beautiful! They're so much nicer than I was expecting them to be and I really like them a lot. I wear them all the time. They are comfortable and true to size. Really, really nice boots.

I love these boots. I bought them last year and they are my favorites. I wear them with skirts and get compliments. I bought some Clarks at the same time and returned them because they were too narrow in the toe bed. These are so comfortable. No break-in and wear them all day long.

I only returned this because the heel was a tiny bit too high for my orthotics to work. This boot is so nice I almost kept it anyway -- feels very well made all over, a good shape, & super comfortable with more arch support than I would have expected.

These boots are exactly what I wanted! I have been wearing them ever since the arrived. I take a size 9, and have somewhat of a full calf, no problem with fit. In fact they get even more flexible as you wear them. They are a buff leather, and are very well made. Great walking surface, no teetering here. Can you tell I love them?

Love this boot! It is the most comfortable riding boot I have tried. I walked all day in the city and felt great. True to size. And I love the style as they are rugged looking--more like a real riding boot. They are great with jeans and fit close enough on leg for skirts, too. Great for winter weather conditions without looking like snow/rain boot; and best of all, my husband thinks I look hot! ;)

I loved the style of thes boots and they fit perfectly around my calves which are a little muscular. Unfortunately, the width was too narrow for my bunion, which rubbed, and I have to return. Otherwise, very cute, well made boot.

Boot is nice looking and well made. Definitely runs small and narrow. The top is snug around my 17" calf and a tad baggy around the ankle. But, will definitely be great this winter.
