Quite possibly the best shoe I've ever worn. I've been a fan of Inov-8s for quite some time. I started with the F-Lite 220s and after I wore those to the bone, I got myself a pair of 230s. I'm an avid crossfitter and this is by far the best overall shoe that I've found. Extremely comfortable and breathable. Provides support while remaining very flexible. I've run on wet pavement, rocks, asphalt and some light terrain and the sticky rubber sole works like a charm. Once I destroy these, I'm definitely getting another pair.

I was so happy to find them in this color, I am not the type of person to wear the bright blue that you see most stores carry. The first time running is these my muscles felt it. What a great feeling opening up into a sprint in these, it feels so natural. Great shoes for crossfit and P90X, highly recommend them.

I love these sneakers. They are so light and comfortable. I use them for crossfit but I would wear them all day if I could. For me it was true to size. I am going to get another pair!

Very comfortable shoes - have worn these now for CrossFit training and minimal running and they're lightweight and overall a great shoe. A must have!

These are the best shoes I have worn for my CrossFit workouts. They are very comfortable, solid base for lifting, durable and comfortable for short runs of about 1.5 miles. All around my favorite workoout shoe.

Great shoes! They are very light and are good for crossfit and/or weight training. I don't recommend them for running as they don't have much cushion. I wish they had more arch suport, but they are bright and have a very pretty color.

I've been doing CrossFit for about 6 months now, and I had been using my Vans as my primary shoe. I have always worn Vans even before Crossfit because of the thin sole and minimalist feel. A few people in my gym had the F-lite 230s and said they were the best purchase they made. I was due for a new pair and decided to take a chance on these. Best decision ever. They have the minimalist feel with the athletic support. I wear them all day even outside of the gym. these are 5 stars for sure. and I'm going to order another pair to add some color diversity

I love these shoes! They are perfect for cross-fit and if you are a runner, they are excellent because they are light weight and breathable. I wear a womens size 7 usually but was told these run a bit large, so I ordered a 6.5w and a 7.5w. Well, neither fit and I ended up sticking with my original shoe size of 7. They fit my foot perfectly and are really pretty bright pink.

This is my first pair of minimalist running shoes, and they are everything I expected. They are light yet better than expected cushioning, they actually feel better than my old super-supportive shoes. They are used for CrossFit and short runs (nothing over 800 meters so far) and not too many workouts yet, so this is not a long-term review. They also have nice grippy sole. There is no arch support, but I did not expect any, as I use custom orthotics. I marked true to size because I read they ran to similar sizes as some other name brand running shoes I own, and that was correct. I am going to purchase more for sure.

Greatest sport shoe I've ever worn. Granted, the most high-end shoes I've ever had were Asics, but these fit like a glove. I wear these for crossfit and I can't say enough good things about them. They grip your feet exceptionally well. The traction is amazing. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent shoe. I recommend this shoe to anyone for just about any athletic activity. I do a variety of things. I love to climb things and monkey around. I love to run. I want to push my body to the limit just to see what it is capable of. I've gotten into freerunning and parkour some time ago. I am currently training for a 3 mile outdoor obstacle run. Finding shoes is a daunting task for me. This shoe can handle anything thrown at it. Great traction and light. Will definitely buy again. Love Inov-8. Love Zappos. Great service.

This is the lightest athletic shoe I have owned. My foot feels more planted on the ground and I am able to confidently do more of the WOD than when I was wearing my Asics Gel Trabucos, which seemed less stable. I have been very conscious of how I run in these, and like the transition to a more barefoot running style - there is much less impact without the heel strike. All in all, a very nice shoe. Has held up well so far over about five weeks of continuous use. Four stars for style because I would prefer a more understated logo, otherwise these look nice.

I use these shoes mainly for crossfit and I love them! It takes a while for the calf muscles to adjust, but once they do, these are great shoes.

These are great shoes! In particular great shoe to CrossFit in! Light and comfortable. The only negative is that you need to order between half a and one full size smaller than you are used to! They tend to run big.

My wife does CrossFit and so do I. She wanted to try the INOV8s and wanted a shoe that she could run and lift in. She has found her new CrossFit shoe and wears it to every WOD. Great fit, great durability, and she loves the style. She wants another pair, already!

Purchased these specifically for cross fit after reading so many great reviews so I decided to try them out! Now in the 2 month mark they are the absolute best shoes i have ever worked out in! And they look way better than those silly 5 finger shoes! Just ran the 8 mile Spartan race in them and the traction and control of my foot was perfect plan on getting a second pair just for trail/mud running!

I'm a Crossfitter (www.crossfit.com), and I wear these for my workouts. They're super light, comfy, and low to the ground, making it easy to keep my weight in my heels and still feel the floor when powerlifting. But I can also run in them, too, which is something I never thought I'd do in such a flat, light shoe. I have super-flat, arthritic feet, and they feel just fine in these shoes. Yours will, too!

I finally jumped on the CrossFit bandwagon and bought these shoes...and won't ever look back. They are incredibly lightweight hardly notice them, mixed with the low profile it's like I'm wearing slippers to my workout.

Say sayonara to your other work out shoes, friends - you just found the best! I bought my Inov-8s after a few months of CrossFit in Nike Frees, and was looking for something a little more durable and with less heel cushion - which is exactly what I got. These shoes are very light and won't slow you down regardless of what your workout is. The heels are very low to the ground, and I've felt an improvement in my squats and deadlifts. They don't have a lot of cushion however, so if you like a little more for longer runs, maybe plan on changing shoes for that particular WOD. If you like feeling the pavement and close to barefoot running - these are for you. I do have very high arches and these shoes are very flat, so I might need to add some support down the line. Other than that though, they feel great whether I'm lifting, box jumping, rowing, sprinting, or just walking around the gym. These shoes look great too - I get compliments every time I wear them. I got the bright pink (which looks more red in the picture, it's actually a great bright pink) so they stand out. I will continue to wear these for CrossFit, and I don't think I will be able to go to anything else and be as happy. One warning - I read the reviews about the larger sizing and ignored them and ordered my regular size. Big mistake. I did need to go a full size down, so I recommend just doing that from the start. Luckily I ordered from the best online store ever - Zappos - and I had the new ones the next day. Thanks Zappos. You are amazing!

I'm new to minimalist running and have always relied on big chunky and posted shoes. This feels like a good transition shoe with just the right amount of cushioning, but not too much so you can still feel the ground, focus on the midfoot stride and strengthen everything. Very lightweight and breathable. Great shoe.

I bought these for CrossFit, having been in FiveFingers for the past 2 1/2 years. I wanted something with a little more cushion/support for the road and treadmill. These are exactly what I was looking for. You can still feel the surface under your feet. The shoe also promotes a midfoot strike. Thankfully, they look like normal shoes, preventing the stares I normally get on the Metro.

This is my fourth pair of the F-lite 230s. By far my favorite shoe. I say it's my fourth pair but almost everyone I still wear. They are a minimalist sole shoe so they have less padding that your average sneaker, but they provide great support and comfort for me. My foot tends o be a little wider and flatter than most, and still no issues. The shoe fits snug, and the breath-ability of the shoe is excellent. My first blue pair I have been wearing to crossfit for almost a year straight. Besides the traction wearing down (I've put them through hundreds of miles) they are still worn regularly. If you're looking for a great performance shoe, that is comfortable, breathes well, durable, and looks great, these are for you. For me and my box, no other shoe will do.
