I just love these boots! I've been wearing them for two years now and they still keep my feet comfortable, warm and dry and look cute doing so. I would highly recommend them. Of course with the Keen design they are a little bulkier than a fashion boot but with the right jeans I still wear them tucked in occasionally as well. Go Keen!

I absolutley love the color, the shape and the material. I have super thin calves. I bundgied them as far as they would go which left lots of excess cord, but I just tucked it under the cord I just tightened. Fabulous. Great under jeans or adorable with a skirt (my favorite)!

Very nice quality boots. Purchased these boots with winter in mind. I plan to wear them outside playing with the dogs and my grandson for warmth. I also know that I will be wearing them to and from work and to run errands. They are good looking and well made. I can't say enough about Zappos customer service and speedy delivery. I am never dissatisfied with Zappos even when having to make returns. Do not be afraid to make a purchase from Zappos! It has made me a true believer in the ease of online shopping! I tell everyone I know and always get compliments on my footwear from Zappos. There are so many products and brands to choose from that I am always wearing something original in the crowd!

Being a big Keen lover I loved the look of these boots, ordered my regular size and they fit nice, Keens are always a bit wider than normal, that is the way the toe is shaped, but that works well for me. I did coat them with a water repellent sealer, and the ones I bought are not waterproof. I'm hoping that helps in the wet weather. They are awesome looking and fit around my calf great. I have a regular to smaller leg.Very happy with them.

These boots are simply awesome in every way. My best friend has a pair, and she wore them to Burning Man every day, and her feet were happy! These suddenly showed up in my email from Zappos and I snagged \'em. Great color too. And, they\'re true to size.

I just returned from a 2 week trip to Germany where I was expecting the weather to be much colder than I was accustomed to here in Florida. I wanted a shoe that was versatile for wearing with jeans or skirts, kept me warm and dry, was comfortable for a LOT of walking, and could handle all terrains. These boots did not let me down in any of those categories. I am very happy with my purchase and I would recommend these boots to anyone. They were warm without making my feet sweat, I did not have one blister after my miles and miles of walking the cities of Germany, they kept my feet dry during the rain and hail storms, they fit nicely under my boot leg jeans and also worked out well with my skirt. I think that maybe my favorite feature is the bungee used to personalize the fit to your calf. The combination of the wool material there and the bungee really made a comfortable fit that was easy to customize. I ordered my true size and originally I thought they were too big, but when worn with socks they fit perfectly. I used both thin and thick socks during my trip and they all fit great.

Keen shoes are amazing and these boots are no less! Comfy, warm, dry, great with skirts, dresses, and of course jeans.

Love these boots! Can't wait to wear them next winter. Look great and feel great. Great for the commute and can wear all day.

I love these boots! I have been looking for a sturdy, yet fashionable pair of boots. The Keen Winthrops are great. The initial sizing of the boots was a problem. I tried my normal size in Keen shoes, and found the boots to be a little large, especially around the ankle. A half size down solved that problem, but I had to get a thinner pair of socks to wear with them, as my usual rag socks were too big. They have held up well in rain and snow, and still look great. They are nicely warm and resist water. I think if I had gone hiking more this winter, I would have had a problem with the boots fitting too tight around my calves, but I think that they will loosen a little as they are worn. Though Keens tend to have a wider foot base than most shoes, I found these to be just a touch wider than usual Keen width, which I like.

These boots are the best tall boots I have ever worn. They kept me warm and dry through 44" of snow this year. I also appreciate the adjustable width on the calf. I would highly recommend this product.

These boot are super comfortable and warm. They run a half size big. I am a 7.5, and a 7 fits just right with room for thick socks.

I love these boots! They are comfortable, warm, waterproof and cute. Just about everything a gal needs to get through Idaho's long, cold and snowy winter months. I was hoping that they'd also be slip-proof but I guess ice is a tough obstacle for any boot. They do a pretty good job in icy conditions, though. The side zipper makes them an easy on and off too. Thumbs up on Keens's Winthrop.

I bought these as a gift for my daughter because I liked my own pair so well. We both are Keen fans. She really likes them and finds them very comfortable and warm. She's in the snow a lot this particular winter playing with her pre-school aged children. She has a very high instep and does not have a problem with the arch in this boot

These boots are true to size and very comfortable. I was afraid they might feel bulky but they are great everyday boots, even when the weather is agreeable. Great quality, I know this boot will last.

I never expected to get this much use of these boots this quickly but the NYC area has been getting lots of snow, so I've worn them a lot. They are super warm and comfortable. I was worried that because they aren't technically waterproof that they might get damp inside but that hasn't happened at all and my feet have remained warm and dry as I tromp through the slush and snow. I'm a solid 8 and though they are slightly roomy, I wear them with a heavy sock and they're perfect. Not the most stylish but cute in an outdoorsy sort of way.

Love these boots! They are immediately comfortable and handle well in that slushy snow that usually sends you to the pavement! They are warm without overheating your feet. I\'d buy another pair!

I bought these boots for my 11 year old daughter and she loves them! Very comfortable, warm, and water proof for New England winters. Look nice with skirts and pants for school. Buy one size up, especially if you have a wide foot.

I’ve had these boots for two years. I wear them almost every day during the winter. They have lasted wonderfully and I fully expect to wear them again next year. They are super comfortable and very cute. They aren’t the warmest boot though, but will definitely keep you dry. As with all Keens, they do run a little big.

I can’t say enough about these boots. I have been on a quest for waterproof, winter-proof, yet-still-cute boots for 2 seasons now. I loved the Merrell Puffin/Tibet high boot, but it didn’t fit well. THESE KEEN BOOTS ROCK! They are super comfy, crazy cute with anything, and amazingly warm. I freeze constantly, and to find a boot that isn’t an UGG-style that keeps my feet warm is saying a lot. They are completely true to size unless you have unusually wide or narrow feet. Also, I do not have large calves so I can’t attest to the upper boot circumference for people who have that trouble normally. Oh, and they also got 2 thumbs up from my hubby who rarely comments on the cuteness of my shoes.

Very impressed with these boots. I wanted something warm, waterproof & comfortable and that’s what they are. So comfortable for walking around, feels like I’m wearing tennis shoes. The most comfortable pair I have ever worn & very warm in the cold snowy weather. Great price, too. I would highly recommend these to anyone.

I got this boot right as the snow was hitting and have been really happy with them. They are roomy enough for heavy socks, which is good because they don’t have a lot of insulation. What I really like about them is that they haven’t gotten stained from all the wet snow - they still look new a month later and I wear them practically every day - very comfortable. I really like the look of the two tone leather/felt, though I tend to wear my pants over them anyway.

I absolutely LOVE these boots! Comfy, warm and have folks ask often where I got them. Also have them in Black. Am considering getting another pair (of each) to leave in Fl where we spend time. Keep feet very warm. (with silk socks may be too warm without extreme cold), They support my arch, are extremely well made and my feet never feel tired no matter how long I have walked in them. I am 52 yrs old and even the teenage girls love them. I saw some comment about the calf being tight, but I can get long underwear, big socks and Jeans all tucked in mine with room to spare. No one that has tried mine on (and many have!) has had an issue with the calves being tight!

I recently bought the Winthrop Boot and wanted to wait a bit and wear it a while, before reviewing. It has been a couple weeks and I’m loving these boots! One of the first times I wore them was for 3 hours on my feet at a dog adoption event and I was comfortable the whole time. No breaking in aches or pains! I have a pair of Keen biking shoes in size 7, so looking at the reviews, I originally ordered a 7.5. I ended up returning for a 7, much better fit! So I felt they were true to size, especially comparing up against another pair of keens I own. It is true, the ankle can feel a little large, but for me it hasn’t been a big deal and has allowed me to tuck pants in so all the cute details of the boot can be seen. I love the wool personally! It is a great look and interesting combo with the leather. If you know much about wool, you know it really can’t be beat in terms of warmth and breathability. As for fit, pay attention to the measurements given and actually measure your leg before ordering! If you want to fit them over jeans or other pants, then measure with them on. It takes but a moment and can potentially save you the hassle of returning. Loved Zappos customer service! Called to order my exchange and had a very friendly conversation with the customer service rep who answered my call. My boots were to me the next day! Will definitely look to Zappos next time I’m in the market for some shoes.

Great boots - I applied some water sealer to them and now trudge through anything with style! They’re typical Keen fit - giving your feet a little platypus look. If you’ve got bigger calves, this boot is NOT for you!

The boot search has ended with these Keens. They are a wonderful boot! I am a solid size 8. I ordered a size 8. It fits perfect with a nice medium weight wool sock. Roomy with a thinner sock. The felt lining is fabulous. Keeps my prone to cold feet very warm in very cold temps. I live at 7100' so it is cold and snowy. These boots take me everywhere. great for around the barn. Clean them up and great for around town. Easy to get on and off with the zipper side. Love the back lacing to adjust calf fit. I am 5'5", 110 lbs., the calf area has lots of room. I tightened up the laces quite a bit for snug fit. My skinny jeans fit fine inside the boot top. The sole is great. Good traction. Love the deep rich burgundy color. Have had several compliments on them. Highly recommend these boots as an all around good, warm, winter boot without a lot of bulk. Comfy right out of the box. Arch support could be better, but changed the foot liner with my own orthotic so it's perfect.
