Great boot - Love this boot! I always have trouble finding a comfy and warm boot that I can walk a lot in. I think I found it. I haven't had a chance to test them in freezing or snowy weather, but so far my feet are warm and cozy in them. I have high arches so I replaced the insole with a New Balance high arch insole, which makes them really nice inside. I also have Raynaud's and my feet do not like cold, so I am hopeful about this boot keeping them warm. Cute with jeans (enough room to tuck in jeans, too) and skirts. I gave the comfort 4 stars b/c sometimes the part that hits the top of my foot/ankle kind of cuts in and hurts, but I have really stiff ankles and not very flexible feet, so that could be why. Definitely recommend them.

I love these boots!! I have wide feet, calves on the larger side and these fit wonderful out of the box. I have gotten so many compliments on these boots. Great looking, unique! Great with crop pants to show off the lace back.

Fabulous For Vermont - I love Keens and these are particularly useful for Vermont weather. Just received my new boots and they are both attractive and utilitarian. They also felt true to size, though a little on the wide size. Still, very comfy though. I have been looking for an attractive, functional boot for many years and finally, I found it! Way to go, Keen!

Wish I could keep them! These boots are so cute! And they seemed like they'd be very practical for walking to school/work in the winter. Unfortunately, these are not a good fit for someone with a narrow foot and wide calf. At least the shipping was amazing.

I bought the boots to keep warm and dry during the rain and they serve that purpose well. I have small feet and the fit is good; however, they are a little stiff in back of heel/ankle. I wish there were waterproof boots in a different material, because my only real objection is the horrible nubuck odor - after weeks it is still strong (smells like Payless) and I cannot put boots in my closet.

I love these boots, they are my new favorite summer boots…summer because in the mountains it is nice to have boots in all seasons and these are not too warm but very comfy. Not waterproof but can be improved with NikWax, construction on Keen isn't the best, but the style makes up for it. Not a true rugged boot, just one that looks rugged and will hold up to gardening, looking good with a skirt and walking the dog.

Got these boots in the fall and they have done me very well this snowy winter! I got a 1/2 size larger than my regular size (as I normally do with Keens) and they are a tad big, but it's OK cause I usually wear them with thick socks. I have bad bunions and they are very comfortable and accommodating. I even wore them snowshoeing in Colorado. My only complaint, like many of you, is that I can't zip them up all the way. I don't have particularly thick calves by any means, but I'm 5\'2" and the top of the boot hits me at the widest part of the calf. I think they are meant for taller people.

Good boot - not sleek urban but still quite cute and quite functional. Comfortable but not full of support. Area around ankle is too spacious. The cinch in the back allowed me to tighten them up perfectly around my too skinny of a calf. Could be a bit warmer in the foot. Just got back from Minnesota where I walked and walked in them on the frozen lake. Quite fun.

This boot is very comfortable after you wear it in. The top part of the boot rubbed my calves raw and I ended up having to wear knee socks every time. Additionally, it is not a very warm boot if you are going to be outside for a while, even with thick wool socks. This year, though, the boot is a lot more comfortable in that it no longer chafes my skin. Great boot for wearing around town once broken in.

I really like the look of the boot. Unfortunately, it is super loose in the heel. I couldn’t take a step without my heel coming way off the sole. I have other Keens and they all fit fine, but this boot doesn’t.

Nice and stylish boots that are also very comfortable. Have been wearing them non-stop during this snow storm - can step right into a deep puddle with confidence! The only thing is that the heel was a bit too wide for me, too.

Good boots, very warm, and great traction in snow and ice. Maybe this goes without saying, but wear knee socks with these boots. The wool on the inside rubbed my calves raw... I actually had scabs from wearing them with low socks. These boots are NOT for those with big calves. I am a runner and I could barely get them zipped.

These boots are not pretty, but they make up for looks in the comfort and warmth they provide. I’ve had several pairs of Keen shoes, so I know they fit my narrow, high-arched feet well. Surprisingly they seem to fit a lot of other foot types, too. They have a good sole for snowy, icy, slick or wet conditions. And did I say warm? They don’t rank high on the "cute" factor, but I wear them a lot regardless.

I liked the boot but found the wool rubbing on my skin to be itchy. Suppose it would be ok with long socks.

Bought these for my wife, she loves them! Size is true to fit according to her, a bit loose around the ankle, but still manages to give her ample support. My only concern was the color (Bison); it seems a to have a greenish hue in the sunlight!

I ordered these boots because I needed a good winter boot that could make it through the sleet and snow but also had some style to it. I was amazed when they arrived on my doorstep the next day. They are extremely warm and easy to wear, they can sustain both snow and water. My only disappointment is they stretch upon wearing. So after a while, they look more like Ugg shoes (which I'm not a huge fan of). Overall, I'm very pleased with the boot for the winter factor, but I would order something that holds it shape a bit better next time.

Not as wide as most Keens, but cute. The boots provide arch support, and are trendy cute, but unfortunately these boots don't run as wide as most Keens. I typically have to get "W"s, except in Keens. Unfortunately these boots were too narrow. Quite unfortunate because they're cute, comfy, and warm.

Very stiff boots. I'm debating returning them because of it. I've been wearing them around the house and found they rub against my ankle bone. Beautiful color, though.

The ankle was really wide, while at the calf it was tight. It's a really disconcerting fit. I admit I am a runner and maybe my calves are a little bigger than normal, but the slop in the ankle while being snug at the calf was just an odd feeling. Once broken in I'm sure they're good but I had to return them. I didn't want to take the chance that I would still hate them once broken in.

Super comfortable, pretty warm, absolutely adorable. The boots are really comfortable. The Keen footbed takes an hour or two of walking to get used to (slash to mold to your foot), but after that, the boots are great to walk in. Downside: The calf opening is pretty small, so they zip very tightly around my legs. The real problem with this is that the molded footbed means you can't really go up a size to get a better fit in the calf. So, if you have a bigger calf or you want to tuck jeans into the boots, you might want to go with a different style. The boots are pretty warm, especially if worn with snuggly socks. (If you're worried about the tight calf, they can be worn with crew socks, the part of the boot your foot lives in is much looser than the part that fits around the top of my calf!) Also, even though they're suede leather, the rubber sole goes far enough up to protect them from all but the worst slushy situations. These boots are so cute! The leather portion is not quite as red as I imagined, but that means they go well with both brown and black. And the felt panel in the back, complete with elastic lace-style cord, is a great detail. They aren't dainty, by any means, but if you're looking for something that's warm and has traction, these boots make a really great statement.

I love these boots. They are very comfortable. I'm a Keen shoe fan. They keep your leg warm, too. I only have one gripe. The leather strap for the uppermost tie up in the back broke off almost the first time I used it. I like the boots so much I didn't want to waste time returning them and it doesn't affect the ability to adjust them or really even the look.

Wide but cute! I'm a keen fan, but these boots are much wider than I expected! I usually wear a solid 8 in other keen shoes, but in these I wear a 7.5 and my foot still has room to move... esp in the heel. My feet are on the narrow side, but I'm still surprised at how wide the boots are...esp in the heel! I hope Keen doesn't expect us to wear very thick socks every time we wear these! Nice look, cute, but the fit could definitely be narrower in the heel.

I love the other color options besides black. Unfortunately, only the black is full leather on the outside. I wish that the red and the brown options also were full leather, not a leather/boiled wool combo. I trust the full leather to be truly waterproof.
