As a size 11, I’m disappointed that the Betty Boot is not available in size 11.5, as it seems to run a half-size small. Darnit. I guess I’m going to have to return them. UNLESS - Maybe someone can advise me if they tend to stretch after wearing them awhile? Otherwise, I think it would have been a great winter boot. I like the pull loop at the top, the side zipper, the arch support, and the traction. Also, I wish it came in solid black instead of black with gray trim. Maybe next time, Keen designers? Just a little less snug would be great. I have several pairs of Keen sandals, and I love them. (As for the rating, I’m subtracting one star for the snugness; otherwise it seems like an excellent product.)

These are very good snow boots. I stay dry and warm no matter how much snow I walk through. They also have a very good grip for icy terrain (a BIG plus). It took me a little time to break them in, and I recommend wearing them with thick long socks (otherwise they may bother while walking). Overall, I say 2 thumbs up! I’d definitely recommend these boots.

Definitely 1/2 size too small. I usually wear 9, had to get 9 1/2 made all the difference. They are very comfy and warm!

As always, I can order a Keen shoe or boot with complete confidence as to size. This CUTE little lightweight boot is great for our mild Seattle winters, rain, snow, or shine. Felt terrific as soon as I put it on, never any break-in time with Keens. I do wear socks with these for extra warmth because I tend towards cold feet, being diabetic. Wasn’t too sure about the color when I ordered, but that was all Zappos had left, and now that they’re here I love the color! Zappos is a wonderful retailer. It’s now the only way I buy my shoes, period. I’m a loyal customer.

Temporarily living in Maine for the winter and wanted some good boots. These are GREAT!

I love these boots, but unfortunately could not get them in black in my size, anywhere! I normally wear between a 7.5 and 8 and tried an 8.5 after reading all the reviews who recommend sizing up. The 8.5 was too big for my foot, but it gave me a taste of just how comfortable these boots are! I think the 7.5 would be too small, so I will stick with the North Face side zip boots for this winter. These are much better looking in person than in the photos.

I am a big fan of Keens. I have several pairs, but had been reluctant to try these boots. A colleague had a pair and she thought they were great, even for those days she had them on all day. I took the plunge and regret I had not it sooner. They are comfortable, warm, and maybe a little funky looking. I am at a point where comfort always wins.

Boots are incredibly warm and comfortable. Unlike many others, only need to wear one pair of socks for hiking outdoors and feet still stayed warm. The shoe construction is really durable, but I was a little surprised at the small zipper, but it has held up so far.

I love these boots! They keep my feet warm and dry and they have fantastic traction. They are easy-on, easy-off and they look cool. I ordered a full size bigger than my usual because I like to wear thick socks in the winter, but if I wore a regular sock, a half size bigger would have sufficed. I like them so much, I called everyone I know to recommend them.

Wonderful snow boot - I have been wearing these since the day they arrived and am very pleased. I walked 2.5 miles in them on ice and snow at 18 degrees with only a medium weight sock and didn't feel any chill at all, even in the tips of my toes. And my feet stayed dry. They are a little loose on the top with no adjustment available, but blue jeans tuck right in. I ordered my normal size and used an orthotic and they fit just fine. I like that they are not "clunky" looking snow boots. You wouldn't think that from the photos. I ordered these at 6 p.m., and when I read my email the following 9 a.m. the tracking number was in my inbox. Before I could click on it the doorbell rang and my boots had arrived at my door. 15 hours from order to delivery in Denver, unbelievable!

These are great, but order up! I am 7.5 and 8 was too small. The size 8.5 is just right and not a bit too big. These are comfy casual boots for winter weather. They have good traction, and easy to put on/off. They seem warm enough for daily wear. They will not work in deep snow (unless you wear a gaiter) as they are not tall and not snug around the calf, but they are now my main winter boot save for big snow days and I love them.

I\'m looking forward to wearing these boots more often! Great for shoveling snow and wearing to work in a casual environment. Inside, which is not mentioned online, a tag indicates they are good to -25 degrees F. We\'ve already gone to single digits here and my feet were warm and dry. So far, I couldn\'t be more pleased. This is my first Zappos purchase.

These boots are the warmest, most comfortable boots I've ever worn! I definitely recommend them. However, note that the sizes run a little small so add a .5 to your regular size when ordering. For example, if you normally wear a 7, buy a 7.5. I kept buying shoes from Keen and wondering why they didn't fit, and having to return them (which was fine, thanks to Zappos incredibly hassle-free, and not to mention free shipping both ways!). Otherwise, these shoes are perfect; I highly recommend them!

Love the Betty! This is one great boot! I live in Boulder, CO and we don't know if one day snow, the other sun, so I wanted a boot that wasn't too heavy. Normally wear a 9, bought a 9.5 and it works with medium weight socks. Stylish!

Funky feet...comfortable and warm... i really have enjoyed these boots and have worn them every single day since receiving them. I have 4 or 5 pairs of keen thus far and I have ALWAYS ordered a half size up...this time the 9 was too big and I needed to return for my proper size of an 81/2... originally I wanted the black but, only had the choice of green and they are super bright, to brighten even your coldest winter day. I live in the mountains and it is often sub zero weather and my feet have stayed warm, I have noticed that they are not quite as waterproof as they were but...hopefully I can treat them. Zappos was AWESOME...after reporting to wrong size they sent me the 81/2 free of charge to try and they arrived the following day---overnight service!!!!

Love these boots! I ordered these boots just in time for a big winter storm season. They are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. I go walking in them and they are excellent for snowshoeing--my feet were nice and warm the entire time. They're so comfortable that sometimes I wear them all day. A great find.

These boots are comfy and warm. They have worked well for me. The only two downsides are that they are a little short (not usually a problem unless you have a two feet of snow blizzard like we did) and they can be a little difficult to pull on if you have high arches. That said, I would still buy these again. They work well and my toes stay toasty.

I am a size 8½ in all shoes but running shoes, which I am a 9. I tried an 8½ and 9. My toes are pretty close to touching the edge in the 8½, but there is way too much slippage in the 9. The zipper part on the inside of my right foot started rubbing after about 30 minutes of wear while walking around in the 9. I took them off and noticed the inside of my ankle was getting red. Not good. So I went back to the 8½ and have decided to keep these hoping that my toes will not get too cold since I tested them indoors only. The slip on boots are great and convenient but there is a disadvantage to them because you cannot tighten them. If they were lace shoes I would have definitely kept the 9. Otherwise these boots are very comfortable. If you do not have winter socks (like wigwam or Smart Wool) you should buy them. You do not have to wear two pairs to keep your toes warm!

These boots are really comfy, though are looser than I would really like. They are great for walking around town but my foot/heel slips too much for a brisk walk or pushing my son's stroller. I am not sure they will keep my feet totally warm in weather below the 20's either. It hasn't gotten that cold yet, but my feet have started to get a little chilled with temps in the 20's.

I found these boots to have a narrow footbed, which appears to be consistent for Keen. This particular boot did not fit my foot snugly in the heel. It would slip as I stepped. I also didn't like the gap around my ankles. It was very stylish but just seemed too casual for walking in actual snow.

Very durable, sturdy, and attractive boot. Bought for my partner. She loves the boot to wear around town. I bought for her, however, for winter sport use (snow shoeing) the boot is not overly warm so it is really a better boot for in town non-sport wear. A little issue as well with slipping in heel.

I had high hopes for these boots, as I have a pair of Keen's sandals that are among the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I looked at many of the reviews on this site, and based on them, ordered my boots a half size larger than my shoe size. Unfortunately, they are not going to work. With a thick pair of socks, they were excruciating. I put them on over a thin pair of socks and walked around my house for an hour or so. I can tell they would cause blisters on part of my foot if I wore them for any length of time. In addition, the very stiff construction of the tops of these boots would cause rubbing and chafing against the back of my calf. They could not be worn on the outside of a pair of pants to avoid this, or over a long pair of thicker socks. On the plus side, they do have plenty of arch support, one of my main criteria for ordering this boot. I am regretfully returning them. I appreciate Zappos fast, free shipping and generous return policies.

I love Zappos but I just ordered these boots on Amazon for less.

Really wanted to love this boot. Ordered my true size, 9, and could have used a 9.5. The width of the toe area felt too narrow, had a hard time getting these on due to my high arches.
