Great boots for the Chicago winters. I commute to work (lots of walking to and from the train) and wear them walking the dog as well. They are very comfortable and warm. Excellent for cold, snowy, sloppy weather but still very cute!

I Have owned these boots for three weeks and like them more than I expected. I had wanted another brand which I thought would be really cozy but I walk three miles a day to and from work and need something practical and sturdy as well as comfortable. I have put them through their paces and they performed well. I walked in the snow, icy unshoveled sidewalks, 0° mornings, and even intentionally stepped in deep puddles. My feet have been comfortable, warm and dry the whole time. For me they seem true to size with medium weight hiking socks.

Love these boots, this is my second winter with them and still no complaints. I have a wide foot and cannot pull them on if the zipper is not completely down but not a huge deal!

Love the boot, but alas it's a tad too snug. Could work with thin socks - maybe. Hoping to exchange for the next size up.

I really am pleased with these boots. I really need good support, and these work. They are warm, comfy, and keep my feet dry.

I just moved to Alaska and bought these for walking around in the snow. The fit is good (I have other keen shoes I love). The tread on these is very good (deep grooves). They keep me really warm and are very easy to take on and off (I prefer the zipper to the laces on so many other models). I would highly recommend these.

Great boot! I like them so much, I bought them twice! This this is a second pair I bought to have in another location so I never need to carry boots back and forth. They are warm and are the perfect height.

Beautiful, multifunctional boot. Soft, cozy lining and excellent traction. Unfortunately the Keen Betty Boot runs small. I am usually a size 6 and even the 6.5 was too tight across the top of the foot. Will order up another 0.5 size.

Comfy, lots of compliments and great for downtown Chicago. It works with black tights and socks and looks OK with long black wool coat and sporty enough to work with ski jackets.

This boot looks and feels exactly like I wanted it to. The photo shows the true colors. I can hardly wait for snow.

I love these boots. They comfy, snug, warm, dry and stable. I always felt safe walking in snow. I found that they run small. I usually take a size 9 shoe and I had to get a 10 1/2 in order to feel right. In the 2 years since I bought the boots, my feet have spread in width. Sadly, I can no longer were these as they are now too tight in the toe area and cause pain to my feet. I only wish they were available in extra wide (even wide would be a plus). Otherwise, for average feet, they are a dream.

Boots run small, but other than that, appears it will be a great snow boot (need to try them in snow this year!) Usually wear 9.5 or 10, and had to order 10.5 in this one. Seems comfortable like a tennis shoe.

I am so impressed with these boots! I would not trade them. I was raised in and live in Alaska and I have had more than my share of boots but never as good a pair as these for walking the dogs on trail, in snow and on slick surfaces. Here is the dirt: they are lightweight and comfortable, I have been home for an hour and I am still wearing them, it is 25° out and my feet were so warm that I never thought about them. There is a zipper, so no laces to have to deal with whether when you are putting them on or taking them off or having them come untied while you are walking, and the front and back pulls let you put them on in seconds. As for traction I never felt safer on a slick path, I have bum knees and I like to feel that secure. I popped the extra money for the white ones and they are so cute. I am glad that I did. This Alaskan dog owner, trail walker rates them a 10! Also, they run true to size. I was worried about that, but no worries.

Love my Betty boots! They're a little clunky, but ugly-cute and very comfy. I got them for a week's visit to Colorado recently and wore them for walking even though it wasn't rainy or snowing. Could have taken a half-size larger for heavier socks, but no problemo.

I purchased these boots about 4 years ago and have worn them every winter since. They are the best boots I have ever had, and being 73 years old, and living in Manitoba, Canada I have purchased many boots in my lifetime. If I need another pair (am thinking of getting black ones as mine are brown) these will be the ones I pick. Warm, light and funky looking! (Yes, even old ladies like funky boots!).

These boots are absolutely wonderful. Fit great and comfortable enough to wear all day. Haven't had them in the snow or ice but the tread looks like they will be very safe in inclement weather. Order before they are gone. You will not be sorry!

Excellent boot for cold, ice and snow. Good traction. Bought one pair last year - this is my back up pair. Great for walking the dog. I have wide feet and a bunion on one foot and these are wide enough. I bought the size I usually wear. They are not dress boots, but I just wear them in the snow and change when I get to work.

I have had these Betty Boots for a few winters now and they are great. I live downtown in a snowy city and these are easy to throw on when the dog needs to take a walk way too early on those cold, snowy mornings. I often end up wearing them without socks and my feet stay toasty warm and dry. I also like that these are super light compared to my old snow boots. I have worn them sledding, walking around the city in the winter and through deep snow. They are pretty comfortable to walk in. I had a pair of fancy North Face boots that actually color match my sporty winter coat but I finally donated them since I only ever want to wear these.

I ordered these keen betty boots for a 3 month work trip traveling thru out Europe in the dead of winter. i followed other buyers reviews & purchased a half a size larger then my normal shoe size. i also followed others reviews stating that they received there shipments within a couple of days of ordering. so i didn't order a rush delivery in order to receive my boots before my trip. well my boots did not arrive with in a couple of days of me ordering them but i did receive notification by email from zappos that they would arrive the day after i left for europe. i called zappos up, explained my situation & not only did they send me a second pair of the exact same boots by expedited next day delivery for free, but they just applied my original charges to the second pair of boots & contacted the delivery service to return the original pair that had been sent out to me. that's all i had to do...make a phone call. and zappos even added me to their VIP customer list which allows me to get free next day delivery on any future purchases. and when i got my boots they fit perfectly...thanks fellow reviewers! they are extremely comfortable & very easy to get on & off. i have worn them numerous times with just a normal pair of socks in minus 15 degree weather & my feet are never cold & they never get wet. also, my feet don't get too hot or stuffy in these boots either. these boots are so cute & they actually make my feet look smaller then they really are. i cannot say enough good things about the betty boots or zappos. i have recommended them both to all my friends & recommend them to you as well.

These boots are great! I bought them for a trip to New York over New Year's Eve... they were perfect! I wore them for walking in the city (great considering there was still snow and slush on the ground), and wore them when I went out to Long Island, too. They kept my feet warm and dry! They survived Times Square for New Year's Eve... what can I say, awesome boots, I highly recommend! Keen's are great shoes, if you like the shoes, you'll love the boots.

Excellent boot, I can't believe how warm my feet are all the time. I've used it for snowshoeing a lot this winter and it is super comfortable.

Excellent boot! Fits like a glove. If you want to wear really thick socks, order half size up. The zipper is too easy :) Not as clunky as other snow boots. The color is not as bright in person...more like a rusty red.

LOVE THEM!! These are great boots - easy to get on and off. Well fitting, even for my extra wide feet and oh so toasty warm. Great arch support.
