Shoe came in with a pair of black new balance as well. Looked at them and thought no way. Well the 11 new balance WW847v2 were too small, toes right at top. Tried these in 11 had room to spare with custom orthotic in them and plenty of room in the toe box. Tried these on fit right away and were comfortable worked out great and not as heavy as I thought. I work in car sales and I am on my feet quite a bit running inside and outside. Looked great with my black work pants. Suffer w/plantar fascitis and pronating.

I have wide feet and this shoe is wide in the toe box but not too wide in the back and so it is a perfect fit.

I have horrible feet...bunions, hammertoes, flat feet and these shoes are wonderful. My orthotics fit perfectly and with the tops made out of leather, my bunions won't wear through. Very comfortable from the first step. Love them!

These are most definitely not "Slip Resistant!" I ordered them because I work in a restaurant environment. I wore them to work and felt like I was skating on ice in the kitchen area. My worn out old sneakers have better traction than these shoes. I'm horribly disappointed because I did a lot of online research before purchasing these shoes. They're comfortable and nice looking, but don't purchase them for their "slip-resistance." It's non existent and I plan to return to Zappos for refund.

Great support, I always go up a half size with Brooks, a little like my grandma's shoes but foot/knee/hip health is more important and I walk all day on concrete.

I searched the internet for "best walking shoes for fat women" and these came up so I bought some and they are the best walking shoes I've ever owned. They come in wide width, the fit was perfect and they are very comfortable. I bought another pair to make sure I have them on hand when the first pair wears out.

I bought the Brooks Addiction Walker shoes because I had a three week vacation in Italy planned with many walking tours. The shoes were wonderful! The supported and protected my feet. I had no discomfort from the shoes while walking and I wore them a lot. I highly recommend them. They are not "stylish" or sexy but they are perfect for walking!

I purchased both the white and black mens Brooks Addiction Walkers. Great fit and very comfortable. The white shoes have white leather but off white soles and on the black shoes the strings and inner lining have a faded black color that does not match the leather which I thought was odd but I love the shoes nonetheless. The length was normal but I purchased wide shoes based on other reviews which made them fit perfectly on my feet.

Very comfortable walking shoe. Consistent Brooks sizing and fit for neutral alignment. Definitely not stylish but I bought them for comfort while standing for many hours a day. Note that I always wear a full size larger in Brooks, including this shoe.

I have problem feet with some nerve issues and these shoes give me support while being soft. I finally got wise and ordered the wide width. Much better for me.

Love these sneakers. I have severe over pronation, plantar fasciitis, and a bunion, and these sneakers are by far the best Brooks makes. I've tried the Addiction II two times, they were not the most stylish of sneakers...so these, in black are more stylish, and they feel like I am walking on air, solid, sturdy, leather, no sand gets into them when I walk. I can even do a little running in these. I highly recommend for anyone with foot issues like myself and I am in the nursing field and on my feet 8 hours a day and look forward to wearing these sneakers every day.

This shoe can take a lot of miles & not show wear. I wear orthotics & for me the toe box felt a little too narrow. Next time I would order a half size large.

Bought three of these and love them. Needed support for knees and I can walk in them all day with no problems. They aren't clunky looking like so many support shoes, I really like the way they look! Had to return first pair as they do run narrow. Zappos.com could not have been more helpful. Also, the price at Zappos was less than other sites for this same shoe!

I have lost count of how many pairs of these I have owned. I have been wearing these shoes for over 12 years. I have severely flat feet that were so bad I was walking on the inside of my foot as my arch had completely collapsed. I have just had a rather extensive foot surgery where several bones we fused, muscles in my calf stretched, and am now in physical therapy. I also have new orthotics to accommodate my post surgical foot. These shoes were originally recommended by a technician who made my first orthotics. I put them on the minute that I get out of bed and keep them on all day. They do an exceptional job of keeping my feet upright and secure. The toe box is wide enough so that my toes can move freely while I can tighten the laces enough to hold my feet. The Zappos service is impeccable and I will continue to use them exclusively. I order one day and they are on my doorstep the next day. I have tried other shoes to replace the Brooks brand as other gimmicky shoes come out, and I always send the others back and re-order the Brooks. I know that my feet would not have held up as long as they did before surgery was required if not for these Brooks shoes.

These are the most comfortable waking shoes period! I have bought them for quite a few years, and wouldn't switch to another brand. I walk 14 miles a day and these shoes hold up!

These are the perfect walking shoe for me. I have bad bunions and only Brooks give enough space in the toes. This is my third pair, but they last a long time.

I bought the Addiction Walker to prevent heel pain during a trip abroad. I am happy to report that these are wonderful shoes and that I walked hours every day for 2 1/2 weeks without pain or further injury. Recommend without hesitation.

As soon as I put these on, they were so comfortable. Good cushion and support. Very good arch support.

My fouth pair and they have all fit like glove and have very good support. So I keep coming back for more.

I have been buying these shoes for years in the same style with the same great fit. These shoes are the best if you have foot problems like so many of us do. The support is great and the cushioning helps me walk for longer periods. I love these shoes.

I love the support and comfort of these shoes. The fit was spot on. I also like the stability that the Brooks design gives - just look at the bottom of the shoe. I had never heard of Brooks before, but I would recommend them highly.

Best shoe I've found for support. I'm on my feet at work all day and can comfortably keep the Brook's on and go 45 minutes on the treadmill. Plenty of room in the toe box. I need to order a 1/2 size larger, tho'. I am on my 3rd pair, by the way.

After trying New Balance, Propet, and other brands, have settled on Brooks Addiction 10's for my Mom, who has severe hammertoes and callouses,and balance/ stability issues. Going on our 3rd pair...one for the gym (mesh), one for everyday, and soon a pair of the velcro for easy on/off "house" shoes. Quality construction in these shoes is apparent. Had been using New Balance, but their quality seems to have gone downhill compared to previous pairs Mom has worn.

I ordered these for my nursing school uniform. I wanted comfort for standing all day. This is great for my type of feet.

I love this shoe. It is the only athletic shoe I have found that allows me to be on my feet all day without pain in my knees. I originally bought my first pair from a diabetic shoe store. I loved them but not the high price in the store. Then I checked online and found them at Zappos for less money and no shipping! Also you can take the insole out and use your own custom or over the counter insole. I love Zappos! I buy almost all my shoes there. Returns are easy and free so I can try on as many shoes as I need to so as to find the best fit.
