I have a hard time finding ww black sneakers for work. These were a true ww and I would buy them again.

This is my second pair of these shoes and I love them. I have constant foot and leg pain and these shoes really helped relieve the pain. The support in them is great. They keep me from walking on the outside of my foot, which helps with the pain. My chiropractor suggested I try these and I have been so happy that I took his advice. Will continue to wear them as my all the time shoe.

These are the best walking shoes that I have had in 10 years! I should have gotten them a long time ago.

Most comfortable shoes ever. Every year when I wear them out I buy a new pair from Zappos. Wear them to work every day. Buying my 3rd pair of walkers.

Love this shoe for working out. My orthotics are very thick and fit perfectly inside this shoe. I have been purchasing Brooks for 5+ years!

I sent back a New Balance walking shoe, my usual brand, because they've been making the tongue so long it butts up into my ankle. Decided to give the Addiction Walker a try, despite the higher price. Move over NB, there's a new shoe in town. This Brooks was comfy right out of the box, with athletic socks on, with room for my custom orthotics and the tongue was just the right length. I have a new brand! Thanks Zappos for the fast service on returns.

These are the only shoes that accommodate my orthotic. Ghastly big (EE width), but they work. Second pair!

I found Brooks shoes were sold through Zappos via the internet. Since I had a pair,still in wearable condition, I asked for the same style and size. They were shipped (free!) and turned out to be too narrow. When I called about that, a dear lady suggested I try the next width. I sent back the first pair and the new size was sent quickly to me...all free shipping! They are perfect. In fact today I saw my podiatrist and he said they are excellent shoes. Hooray! Thanks, Zappos, for great service and fun communications.

These were recommended by my doctor, as I have arthritis and plantar fasciitis. What a difference they have made along with the recommended treatments, I'm finally walking without pain. I got the wide and glad I did, it gives me plenty of room in the foot bed, so if I want to wear thick socks I can with no problems, and my ortho inserts, fit perfect.

This is a great shoe! Very well made and very comfortable. I have circulation issues in my feet requiring me to wear a very wide shoe. These did the trick. I may order another pair. Zappos was excellent as always!

This shoe provides comfort and stability and arch support. I am rehabbing from a broken leg and this shoe allows me to walk without discomfort. The dips on the side are low enough that they don't rub on the ankle bone. Would have liked some other color choices though.

The best comfort for a foot injury! I have been purchasing these shoes from Zappos for years. After a terrible injury to my foot and ankle, after surgery, my foot didn't heal well. These are the only shoes I can wear comfortably. Drs told me I'd never walk again... I've proved them wrong with my Brook's Addiction Walkers! The only place I could get wide and double wide. This allows to minimize the pain to my surgical area. They don't rub against it. They are comfortable, well made, quality is utmost here and best of all, you get them from Zappos, which is the best company for any product they carry. Their customer service is unsurpassed, their delivery is unbelievable. I get my shoes two days after I ordered... and free!!! Where else can you get that awesome care?!

The strap is very comfortable, that was my biggest concern. It turned out the shoe was too skinny and it usually isn't a problem for me in Clarks. I had to return them, so sad.

Really good shoes - For me, these shoes are great! Good, firm, unbouncy sole with an exceptionally comforting heel. They are really good for walking yet can be worn out for dinner because they're not too garish or visible as exercise shoes. I am so pleased to have found this combination, wish I'd found it years ago!

Brooks are the best! This brand of shoes is the absolute best if you overpronate like I do. It is the ONLY brand I buy anymore because instead of having to hope the sneaker breaks in to be comfortable, they are comfortable from day 1. They come in 6W. I have to buy other brands in 6.5 M to come close to the same fit.

This is an amazingly good looking winter boot! They look good with everything. I bought my normal size and like previous posters said - I doubt I could wear very thick socks with these, but they are perfectly warm with regular socks. They are also super comfortable w/ no socks, which i sometimes do if it's not too cold. The first time i wore them, they did cut into my foot, but they broke in quickly. One downfall - no loops to pull them on. so until the leather really loosens up, they are difficult to pull on.

Excellent walking shoe - This shoe fits my foot very well and has excellent arch and heel support. I would highly recommend it to others.

Great nursing shoe - As a nurse who does 12 hours shifts, this shoe is perfect. All leather so cleans easily, professional in appearance. I usually wear a 1/2 size smaller so go up 1/2 size when ordering for the best fit.

Outstanding Shoe! My Wife is on her feet for the majority of her workday and she use to complain about her feet hurting. I bought her these shoes and I haven't heard complaint one! She said she loves these shoes and I'm about to buy her another pair.

Brooks Addiction Walker - I have tried everything to find a good walking shoe and finally found it with the Brooks Addiction Walker. I have plantar fasciitis and it's hard to find a shoe that will accommodate my inserts, support my feet and be comfortable all at the same time. There was virtually no break in time and I find it's the perfect walking shoe. The fit was accurate; I ordered my regular size, 8.5. I was so happy with the first pair, I bought 2 more in different colors, and I’m set for winter. And Zappos is absolutely the best mail order shoe company. I ordered on a Thursday and they were here on Friday. They have been that fast on all my orders from them. Also, while trying to find the best walking shoe, my returns to Zappos were very easy and went without a hitch. Zappos is the greatest!!!

If you are an underpronator or a supinator, don't try to wear these Brooks Addiction shoes! They are too controlling for a foot like mine. I didn't realize that I'm an underpronator (opposite of an overpronator) when I bought these. I kept getting blisters on my little toes when I wore them, because they forced me to walk on the outside of my feet (which I already do naturally since I'm a supinator & underpronator!). Now I can't wear them at all, because I need a more neutral, cushioned, flexible shoe. I went to see lots of docs about my little toe blisters, but they didn't know what was causing them. Now that I understand my feet better, and I started wearing neutral flexible running shoes, I don't get the little toe blisters any more! I like the fact that the Brooks Addiction shoe is made of a good quality leather. Hard to find all-leather shoes nowadays. They are also roomy in the toes.

Size runs smaller than expected - I was looking to replace my trusty size 5 New Balance walking shoes, since they were cramping the toes on my right foot. (My feet are slightly different, just enough to make shoe shopping challenging.) I ordered the Brooks shoe in a 5.5, since a similar Brooks shoe was very highly rated. The 5.5 felt like the New Balance 5. When I put the two shoes side by side, the Brooks shoe was actually a little shorter than the New Balance shoe. I had to return the Brooks shoe and order a size 6. The size 6 feels just fine, but Zappos didn't have the bone color I wanted in that size, so I had to go with black.

These shoes are very comfortable but they are very slippery. I am not happy with them. If i had only paid significantly less I would be able to understand. But at this price I am not happy.

Brooks Addiction Walker - The style and fit of this shoe is great! I have severe foot problems along with a bad back! Working in the food industry, good shoes are a must! The only problem I have found is that they are definitely NOT slip resistant!!!! I have to continually hold on when going through the kitchen/dish area! Tonight I fell!!!! Definitely will not wear these shoes in the restaurant again!
