My wife and I each ordered shoes from Zappos. One pair for me and two for her. Hers were too small and had to be returned. Zappos actually sent replacements at no charge before the original shipment was returned. This, to me is unheard of customer service. They definitely will get my business in the future and I hope others will support this wonderful company.

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I have arthritic feet and bunions on the outsides of the feet. These are the first pair of shoes - and I have tried many different brands (thank you Zappos for your return policies!) - that I can actually wear that doesn't make the pain worse. They also come in 11 1/2 wide. Anyone that has larger feet knows that is a difficult size to find! I guess my only complaint would be that they slip a little at the heel, but since I need the wider shoe that was nothing a thicker pair of socks didn't fix. The toe box could be a bit wider but that may be my personal preference. Although, in the winter I wear wool socks and they don't feel cramped in the toe area. They are not as heavy as a lot of shoes I've tried. Which is another plus! I liked them enough to order another 2 pairs (one white and one black) to have in reserve in case they change or quit making them. If you have problem feet, try the Brooks. You have nothing to lose at Zappos.

Just finished four days of pushing my husband--whose prosthetic leg was giving him trouble--in a wheelchair around Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando. These shoes were terrific through six- to eight-hour days and I was glad I had them. I do wish the walker style came in mesh; the leather ones were a bit heavy for packing and also long hours of walking in warm temps. But I love the comfort and support they provide. If you have bunions and pronate, these are the shoes for you.

These shoes are a godsend! I am an active woman of 73 and have flat and very sensitive feet. I tripped over a fatigue mat 6 weeks ago and suffered a seriously sprained ankle and torn ligaments supporting my arch. I ordered these shoes hoping they'd help in my recovery. They fit perfectly, and I can now walk comfortably again!

This is my third pair of Brooks Addiction Walker. I have different colors. I am in my 80's and feel very secure when out walking.

I am a letter carrier and decided to try these shoes after all the positive reviews. They are very comfortable for standing and walking for hours. I hope they continue to make these shoes for awhile because all the others i used to wear have been discontinued. Thanks Zappos!

This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned! Great for walking, but looks good about town, too. The soles are thick enough to really protect the foot, but not so thick that you lose your connection to the ground. My only complaint is that there are so many holes for the laces that it is impossible to just pull on the laces and have them tighten. You have to tighten them manually, and they get all mixed up because they are so close together. But, fabulous shoes. Will definitely buy again. I used to wear New Balance, but their best walkers do not come in black, so I prefer these.

This is my second pair of Brooks Addiction shoes. I love them, very comfortable. Good walking shoe for me.

Great shoe! Have had foot problems for the past year, and these Brooks Walkers were suggested by my doctor. I walk an 8 mile a day mail route and since wearing these shoes have had less pain. I am still on the mend but am improving daily. Thanks to these shoes? doctor? custom orthos? or combination of all the above?, who knows, but I will take it!

This the second pair of Brooks Addiction Walker I've ordered from Zappos. Each time the shoes arrived quickly. They are the most comfortable athletic shoes I've ever worn and plan to re-order every time I need new athletic shoes in the future. Because of the shape of my feet, I do remove the insole and replace it with a special insole. I do this with all my shoes and this does not in any way detract from the excellence of this item.

This is a great shoe and represents a "quest" by me to find a shoe with the support of an athletic shoe but which doesn't look like one. I recently had knee surgery and I absolutely required a supportive shoe. This fits the bill and I wear it where I wouldn't wear a jogging shoe.

I'm a letter carrier and needless to say, need comfortable shoes! I ordered these and am extremely happy with them. This was my first experience with Zappos and they didn't disappoint! I received them within a few days of my order and will definitely order from them again!

I wear a 10½/11 shoe - EE width. These sneakers are wonderful and comfortable. I wear them to walk on the treadmill at the gym. I am able to leave the sole in and add my orthotics.

I was looking for a specific color and type of shoe to which a leg brace could be attached. i had worn Brooks Addiction Walker in the past and liked the fit. i bought and easily returned a couple pair before getting a pair that the prosthetic technician felt could be used for my particular needs, and zappo's made the changes easily for me. i have used their services and shoes in the past and will continue to do so.

I have worn the Brooks Addiction running shoe for years (it is the only running shoe I wear - weird feet, the only shoe that really works for me and my orthotics) and needed a black shoe for work or occasions where running shoes just would not do. I am thrilled with the Brooks Addiction Walker. It is as supportive as the running shoe, looks decent (especially with my not pink shoe laces) and gives me footwear options that I didn't have before. I am very happy with this shoe and will definitely buy it again.

These are the best ever walking shoes I have purchased. The support is second to none. They were a bit stiff at first but softened perfectly in short order.

These are the best walking shoes I have ever had. Went on a week walking vacation - no break-in time at all. I highly recommend. I ordered white but received bone color in error, but liked them so kept them. First Zappos error ever. No problem this time.

These shoes have really saved my feet! I started working in a long term care facility and am on my feet a lot. The support and cushioning have made such a difference. My feet are tired at the end of the day but don't hurt anymore. I used to use arch supports in other shoes but haven't needed them with these shoes. Have been wearing them every day for about a month now.

These shoes fit great! I have back and SI problems. I also like to walk and on average 7 miles per day. I really need a well made, sturdy, and comfortable shoe. These fit the bill. I like the cushion provided by the heal. I wear a 9.5 wide and these shoes are a perfect fit with only a slight slip in the heel. I already walked 3 miles and my toes and back love the shoes.

I replaced my NB shoes with the Brooks Addiction Walker recently...wish I had done it sooner. These are way superior as far as comfort and support. As a health care professional, I highly recommend these shoes. As usual, Zappos customer support is outstanding. Love Zappos, especially the free shipping and the cute little videos they do!

I've been wearing these shoes for about 15 years now, and I don't buy any other kinds of walking shoes. They keep my feet and ankles from hurting. I have two pairs and wear them all day every day, not just for walking, but for living! I use a commercial orthotic underneath for further support for my pronation, and it works very well.

I bought these shoes for my wife. She has large buniony duck feet and has had a problem finding shoes most of her life that are comfortable and these fit the bill for her. She loves them, and when you throw in next day delivery how can you go wrong. "Great service."

I am on my feet 12-14 hours/day. These shoes have never let me down. Comfortable, sturdy, well made, good cushioning for feet that take a pounding.

Awesome walking shoes, I love them! They accomodate an orthtic, which makes life easier for me! Comfortable, stable heel and plenty of room near the toes.

This is definitely an older person's style, but is comfortable. I have very narrow feet, 8.5 AA in athletic and AAA in dress. I usually have to insert an additional arch support in my shoes. I wear these shoes mostly for walking on country gravel roads and around town. I'm very pleased with the overall comfort and support. If they included a 'brown' color, I would be delighted. I would recommend these to anyone who walks a lot or requires good support. My toes where just at the tip of the 8.5 and probably would of been okay, but I went with a 9 and have a little extra room which will be nice for winter when I wear heavier socks.
