I have been wearing this brand and style for many years and love them.

Excellent shoe. I wear a size 15 and have a narrow foot -- try finding shoes like that! But the Brooks Addiction Walker is actually a narrow shoe, so much so that in a 15 they almost look like ballet slippers for clowns -- but hey, for me they're a good fit. The platform is quite sturdy. I wore them off and on before I retired, when I stood on concrete floors all day (finally I switched to clunky but sturdy Red Wings), and I wear the Brooks now for walking around town. The brown is sort of a fake suede coffee-and-cream color, a little goofy looking, but they're good for my knees so I can live with that.

Hubby enjoys these shoes. Plenty of support. And the come in his size 15!!!

I purchased these as a walking shoe. They are a tad bit 'heavy' for my taste but I've only had them a week so I expect to 'grow' into them. I always double-knot my laces. The laces on these shoes are a bit too short to easily do this (compared to a pair of Brooks GTS17 where the laces are a bit too long even when double knotted!). Toe is boxy, I like that.

I just recently got a pair of these addiction walkers. I have only worn them once, but they are very comfortable. I have had several pair of the Brooks Addiction athletic shoes, first the Addiction 12 and then the Addiction 13. I have foot problems and wear custom orthotics which fit perfectly in these shoes. I love the sizing and width; very comfortable brand and shoe.

"These are really nice shoes; I like them". My husband is a man of few words but trust me I really would've heard about it if it were otherwise! So that's a great review from him.

Not so pretty to look at but what they lack in style, they more than make up for in comfort and function.

Shoe is a life saver for difficult to fit feet. Good support and relieves knee pain. I am buying two more pair.

I love, love, love these shoes. I hope that Brooks never stops making them. I wear them in the black and the white colors. I have bone spurs on both big toe joints. I also have sesamoids on the bottom of my feet. I need room, cushioning and excellent arch support. These deliver in every way. They are fantastic walking and hiking shoes. They also fit my orthotics perfectly. I don't think they look like orthopedic shoes. They look like a comfortable pair of shoes and they are!!!! Buy them if you have foot problems!!!!! Zappos is the best!

I have very bad feet, and my podiatrist recommended these a few years ago. I've been wearing them since then, and I love them. I just wish they were available in more colors. (maybe taupe?)

I wear a 13B and have found that my old standbys, New Balance, went to a new last a couple of years ago that resulted in a toebox that's too pointed for me. I've bought several pairs of the Addiction Walkers and have found them very comfortable. Can't speak to the arch support, because I remove the footpad from all my shoes and insert my custom orthodics, which fit fine in this shoe. I prefer the brown over the black for this reason: The black is a slick leather which doesn't seem to bond to the sole as well where it wraps up the toe. Within a couple of months both shoes started to come apart there. The brown is a rough leather, which seems to bond better. Of course the rough leather tends to soak in water more easily. I really like the sole tread pattern because it doesn't have the thin slits that so easily pick up and track pebbles and dirt.

These are fantastic shoes. My husband loves them and has two pair. I also have two pair. They are very stable and supportive of your feet. I have orthodic inserts that I put in my shoes and they fit perfectly. I can't think of anyone that would be disappointed with these shoes!

Probably the most comfortable walker I’ve ever worn. Walk 6-8 miles a day, and the stability is excellent. Needed a shoe that wouldn’t wear out quickly on the outside of the heel. Too soon to know that but the stiffer feel of the shoe makes me think the sole should hold up. Only wish it came in smooth black leather instead of grain to better match my uniform.

I have worn Brooks Addiction shoes for at least 8yrs. I was on my feet at work at least 8 hrs. a day and still these were comfortable enough for me to walk at least 2 miles or more for exercise. I am now retired and I have just ordered a new pair to wear on our two week vacation in August. The size is exactly right. I wear a ee and the width is perfect. Great arch support. I have tried others for comparison and it was a waste of time. Please keep selling these shoes!!!!!!!!!

I’ve bought 7 or 8 pairs of this shoe over the years. I’m on my feet 6-8 hours a day and this shoe is even more comfortable than the New Balance shoes I’ve had over the years. My feet are a challenge. I’ve got extremely narrow feet with no arches and now wear orthotic implants. It’s almost unfair to an “off the rack” shoe manufacturer. Brooks meets all my needs and hit a home run with this model. If they made them in more colors, I’d buy those too. Finally, this Brooks model is incredibly durable. I’ll buy these shoes as long as Brooks makes them.

Fit great very comfortable great support

I have bought at least 6 pairs of this shoe. They replaced SASS, Mason, and Puma. They give the comfort and support for long hours on concrete floors.

They are very comfortable and stylish. These were recommended to me because I had plantar fasciitis, and I can say they absolutely have helped. They can be a bit slippery on wet surfaces, but otherwise they are very durable and one of the better shoes I've owned.

These are excellent shoes. I bought my first pair 14 months ago and my second last week. They are good-looking, comfortable, and, for me, durable. I do not use them as hiking shoes unless I'm traveling and need to limit the number of shoes I bring. I bring these on trips because, as long as I'm reasonably careful, they will take me anywhere and still look good for dinner, etc. In terms of size, the length is fine, but they may be a little narrow. I often wear a medium width, but the EE worked better for these shoes. In terms of cleaning and appearance, they are pretty tough and will clean up with soap and water, but, in time, they fade and show some discoloration. In fact, the reason for the second pair is not that the first has broken down after 14 months, but that it's looking a little beat up. Pair #1 will now become my utility shoes for around the house, while the new pair will travel with me. Frankly, I wear these shoes far more than any others I own. These shoes are great. They fit true to size. They have terrific support and at the same time are very well cushioned. That’s a hard combination to achieve. They also have good flexibility for a motion control shoe. I don’t ever expect to buy anything other than Brooks Addictions. I highly recommend them
