This is very pretty but it runs small. I am 5'7" and weigh 120 lbs and I ordered a small. I ordered two other dresses in sizes 4 and small and they were too large. All of them are beautiful. I am so disappointed. I wish manufacturers would get together on sizes.

This is a lovely and flattering dress that can be dressed up or down. It is a simple cotton, nothing luxurious, just versatile and, well, pretty.

I love this dress. It is very flattering and not too tight. Undergarment's lines do not show and the cut is figure flattering. I don't wear dresses to work often, but this one makes it out of the closet once a week.

Really love this dress! The color is sort of terra cotta orange/red. I got a medium and it fits great. My only complaint is that the end of the sleeve is not loose or tight fitting, just sort of sits there with a gap. Other than this minor complaint, it's a keeper! Might even order more in other colors.

Cute dress, but runs small. I usually wear a size 6, so I ordered a small, and sent it back for a medium, which fits perfectly. I love that is is made with organic cotton.

This is a cute dress but too low cut for me. I wear a size 4 in pants but a six for tops. Got this in a small which was too tight in the bust. Maybe a size up unless wearer likes a snug fit.

Ran a size small for me. Definitely made for an 'athletic' figure up top and too small for my DD bust. Also pretty snug in the bicep area. Too short for comfort, even though I'm only 5'4", but very nice style and fabric, if you're maybe a B cup and like a short dress.

I love this dress! I wanted something that was comfortable to wear (I hate stiff and/or itchy clothes), that could be dressed up or down for different occasions. This dress is soft, stretchy and comfortable; the 3/4 sleeves make it wearable for all but the hottest weather; it is very flattering; and can look casual with flip-flops or dressed up with a nice necklace and heels. I am 5'3" and 130 lbs, I am pretty much always a size 6 and the "Small" fit perfectly. One caveat: the v-neck is pretty low, especially if you have cleavage. I put a camisole under it for daytime occasions; with the right bra it is quite sexy for evening!

Great dress! The dress is lovely, flattering, and very well cut and crafted. The only minus is that the v-neck plunges a bit too deep, so I tend to wear it with a camisole.

This dress was cuter in the picture than in person. I saw the reviews about it being very low cut and scoffed because I am not afraid of showing some cleavage (and in the picture it looked fine). But this dress is so low cut there is absolutely no way it can be worn without a cami underneath (which in my opinion would ruin the look) or double sided tape, unless you want to flash everyone. A good portion of my bra was showing. This one is not for me.

I really enjoy most of what Patagonia makes, but the material that this dress is made out of is not very comfortable to me. It is very stiff and looked worn out already, maybe for someone who enjoys more muted colors they would like it. I am small chested, lucky if an A fits, and this dress just doesn't work for me.

Runs small, I bought and XL when I normally wear between and L-XL and it was too small. The print was also a lot more muted than I expected, kind of felt dingy to me. I think it's a very tough fabric which would wear a long time but I didn't like how heavy it felt. Any of those three things probably would have been reason enough to return.

Pretty dress! Love the maharaja/dark ruby color, which is very fall-toned. If you have a larger chest, order way up -- I am a 34D and barely fit in the top of the Large (and my chest is very exposed in it). I don't think it would look great with a cami underneath (too much potential for bunching/added bulk) but would need it to wear it anywhere but maybe out at night (but it's not fancy enough for that in this color/fabric). A-line is flattering for pear-shaped bodies.

Wish I could like it, but too tight all around. Material feels a little weird too, liked starched cotton, or a more durable swimsuit-rough kind of way, not smooth cotton jersey, which would have been preferable.

For the price, this is very functional black dress. However, after reading the great reviews, I had higher expectations and was a bit disappointed with how plain it is. I ended up throwing a long black and white jacket over it to jazz it up a bit with high black boots. It is very low cut so a camisole is a must. I am 44, 5'8" 126 lbs.

I am 5'6" and weigh 140. The medium size dress was very tight in my arms and across my chest. I was hoping to get this for work, but alas, it just will not do. Sigh.

Odd fit... This dress just wasn't exactly what I expected. I ordered a medium, which was generally too big except in the shoulders and arms where it was a bit snug. The waist hit higher than I had expected and the hips were pretty full, creating a NOT very flattering wide-hipped look. Also, the material was not as soft as I expected an organic cotton to be. It was sort of stiff, like a material better suited for exercise clothes than a dress. The V-neck was very deep and definitely required a camisole (otherwise my bra showed). Overall, I think this could be a cute dress, maybe it just didn't fit me! I'm considering re-ordering a smaller size because I love the idea of this dress, but I'm worried the dress still won't be very flattering and the arms and shoulder-area might be too small in a smaller size?

This dress looks cute in the picture. The dress is not made out of a nice material. The feel of the material reminds me of a thick table cloth. I was willing to look past that, figured it would be warmer in winter,however it looks like a hippy dress on. Right out of 1970's. Not the style I was hoping for. I am returning it. I am 5'6 123lbs and the Medium fit perfect. Wish it wasnt so waif like on.

High hopes for this dress, but the v-neck cut was too deep and it did not drape properly. It is going back.

Ill fitting! tight in arms and chest, loose in shoulders and torso and too low cut. Did not lay properly. Cheap material.
