I bought this dress last month and have worn it to death ever since! The blue hued pattern is better suited for the fall and winter in my opinion but is a great transition dress into the early spring. I'm 5’5†and the length is perfect. It hits just above my knee so it's not too revealing. I'm 120 lbs and a 34C and the XS fit just right. I probably could have gone up to a small but I prefer a tighter fit up top when it comes to dresses. I definitely suggest line drying the dress though; I find that with organic cotton the color isn't as steadfast through many dryer cycles.

This is a great dress. It is so comfortable and very flattering. I wear it constantly: with flip-flops, cowboy boots (durango) and my tall Fryes and it works with everything. Cute, comfy, and really versatile. I am 5'3, 104 lbs and ordered the XS. I accidentally washed and dried it and it shrank slightly, really just in the length which brought it up to about an inch or so above the knee, and now it's perfect. I will just wash in cold and maybe line dry from now on. I just wish I could find it in the chocolate or grey print. Love Zappos!

This is a fabulous dress with a very flattering shape. The neckline does plunge deep but will not reveal your bra, and the three quarter sleeve makes this dress great for all year long. Like others, I ordered a size up and am glad I did. I have a bit of a tummy and it was perfectly hidden under the slight ruch and shape of the empire waist. I'm a bit shorter (5'4") so I'll take the hem up a couple inches to suit my preference, but I did wear the dress straight from the box and it looked great. Overall, this is a very nice dress that you can wear in a wide variety of situations. The fabric is soft, stretches well, and does not reveal lumps underneath.

I absolutely love the way this dress fits and feels. I am 3 months pregnant and was worried about what I was going to wear to an upcoming wedding. I put this dress on and I felt instantly comfortable in this dress with my little baby bump. The material is a little thicker, which I like, and I look forward to wearing it again soon!

This dress is true to size and is very comfortable. I am 5\'11 and of average build so a size Large on me will fit very differently than on someone shorter and stockier as it does hug the body before it A-lines.This dress can be worn with high heels and some fab jewelry or can be dressed down with tights and flats or boots of any height. Plus, Patagonia is a comapny that practices policies for a greener environment.

Love this dress, you can dress it up or down. Folds compactly for traveling and no wrinkles! The fit is fantastic, close to the body, but not tight, and plenty of swing to the skirt.

This is a great practical dress. You can dress it up or down. The fit was to size. The cut is low enough that you can wear it with a visible camisole during the day. At night you can remove the cami and have a nice lowish cut evening look.

Pretty and versatile dress. I originally bought the sleeveless version of this dress & loved it so much I decided to buy it in the longer sleeve version in black. Note it has 3/4 sleeves and is so versatile you could wear it with flats or dress it up with heels. I am so happy I read all the reviews regarding sizing because it does run small/slim fit. I wear a size 8 dress & am 5'10", B cup bra & I ordered the large. Fits perfectly. The v-neck is deep but you can wear a regular bra & it won't show (even with the sleeveless version, the bra straps won't show). Doesn't cling, but is shaped to your body. Love it! And, Zappos is the best; shipped perfectly overnight.

I ordered this dress based on so many positive reviews and was not disappointed. It washes well and travels well, looks great with leggings. I ordered a size medium and am 5' 3" about 125 lbs with a 34C bust. The small would probably fit me but be too snug in some areas. Medium fit perfect.

I love this dress! I am so happy with it. I wear a 38C bra since I had my babies, and I am very glad I did not size up as many reviewers had suggested. The large fits me perfectly. It is quite flattering and very comfortable. I have always worn Patagonia fleece and coats, but this is my first dress. A very worthwhile purchase. Love it!

Perfectly fit! Love it! Ordered a size xs in black and it fits perfectly! I'm actually flat-chested, but this dress actually compliments my figure and gives me some overall curve. The only thing is that the black is a little grayish black, not pitch black as I expected. But hey, still love it!

Comfy and sexy - I love this dress. The cut is great for my body, the v neck is kind of low so a cami underneath looks good. The cotton is soft and comfortable-overall a great buy.

Cute Dress - This is a great dress to have in your closet. I live in Southern California so this is a great dress to wear this time of year. Seems to fit true to size. A very easy outfit to run out shopping in or grab dinner with friends.

The insoles are removable. However, once you remove the insoles to add your orthotics, you will see that the footbed is full of holes that I guess are supposed to create comfort, BUT since the orthotics only cover part of the footbed, the toes dig into the holes and are most uncomfortable. The shoes are comfortable for the most part if you do not have to insert orthotics.

Wearing AWESOME and how it feels. This dress is comfortable. It fits me like a glove. A sexy glove. I did not have to buy a drink at all, of course I was at a wedding and they were free, but I also did not have to get up and get one either. I was a little skeptical to wear this dress to a hundred thousand dollar wedding, but at the end of the night, I looked great, and was comfortable. Unlike most of the other woman clawing at the boning in their dresses, looking miserable. All in all, patagonia makes great technical gear, and now they can add glamour to their portfolio.

Wonderful! Excellent little black dress! Made with organic cotton, so it's a plus for the environment...for those like me that are trying to go 'Green' it's a perfect choice! I bought the small, I'm 5' 6" and 120 pounds...the fit was perfect.

FYI this dress runs small - Very comfortable casual dress. Different material from the Patagonia morning glory dress – not as stretchy, but this one does have some stretch to the fabric. This dress runs small. I usually wear a small in Patagonia. 5'2" 115 lbs, 34 B cup, usually wear a size 2 to a 4. Ordered a medium in this dress and it fits great. So size up (unless you like a snug fit).

Very cute style of dress! I am 5'5" - 129 with a 34D chest. This dress is slim and doesn't work great for my post baby belly. I think the medium would be best but they don't have any. Very cute cut though! Wish I could keep it. The small is tight in the chest for me - I also have broad shoulders.

Got this dress for Christmas, and I like it. It is a little too revealing, I think, for wearing to my work, but I may try it with a cami underneath. I am 5'5.5" and 140 lbs. and the length and fit are good in the Large. I have a Prana brand sweater dress that fits great in a Medium, but since the Margot is relatively slim-fitting, I like the way it fits in the Large. The print pattern is nice, but I haven't washed yet to see how it hold up.

Fits well, comfortable. Wore the dress with leggings & boots. I am 5'8" and 150 lbs. Dress was a comfortable length. At work I wore a cami underneath to cut down the cleavage. At home I'm more comfortable letting it show.

I love love love this dress, but I had to send back the medium (I'd ordered a L and Zappos sent a M by mistake). The Medium was stretchy and very well made, but so squeezy tight (I usually wear a 10 in Misses' dress size) that I had real trouble getting it on and off. It fit very tight across the bust, and I'm only 36B, so if you like tight-fitting (but not uncomfortable) clothing, the M pretty much does conform to a size 10; I just needed a little extra wiggle room to take it on and off. The fabric is very good quality and the colors are rich and deep. It's REALLY pretty, very feminine without being 'ruffly' and would look great with tights and boots. When I find the right size I'll order it in the other pattern; I wish they made a series of these in different colors because it's great.

For anyone wondering if this dress really does run small, believe it! I am 5'5", 128 pounds, 34A and the small was like a corset on me! I am going for the medium. The fabric is sturdy, not clingy at all, the pattern is very pretty - I am going to wear it to a work holiday party.

This is a really cute dress. The fit, fabric and pattern are great and I am not a skinny girl. My only complaint was that it is really low-cut in the neckline. Cleavage o-rama. I was purchasing for an office party, so will be returning due to that reason alone. If you are okay with that, it'd be an awesome purchase.

I'm 5'2", 120 lbs, 34A. This is a gorgeous dress if you're 23 and have the body of a ballet dancer. It's beautifully styled. The fabric is a nice substantial weight, not too thin, not too heavy. The neckline is fine, not as deep as I thought it would be. Flattering for a smaller bustline. Everything would be fine except the dress is super tight. The small is super skin-tight. This would be flattering except that every bulge shows. If I were fifteen pounds thinner, great. The medium is also very tight. Strangely, it's also too large at the same time. It makes me look old and dowdy. Like most dresses on Zappos, these are for the young and skinny.

This dress in the pinkish/red color is darling. It is flattering and looks nice on someone 5'3" and curvy. The neckline is a little low, but is generally fine. However, I ended up returning it. I usually wear a medium and this was snug around the belly as well as torso. I also felt like I did not have enough room in the arms and think the fabric could be softer. It is a little stiff for me. Unfortunately this one did not work for me, but I still think it is a great dress for the right body type and style preference.
