Awesome dress - great fit. I am 172 lbs and ordered the XL. My bust size is 41D.

I bought this dress in the blue print and love it, however it is very low cut. Some other reviews said the neckline was not really a problem for small-chested women, but I'm only a 36B and it was a problem for me (but my husband loved it). I will definitely wear a cami underneath when I wear this dress to work. The material is slightly thicker than many other dresses. That combined with the a-line cut helped hide my mommy pooch nicely. I'm 5'2, at 140 lbs and the large fit well, although it was a little longer than I would have liked. The hem hit just below my knees.

The cut on this dress is really flattering. But it runs so small I need to exchange it. I am 5'3" and 119 pounds and the small was really really tight in the arms and across the chest.

Tight. Sexy. You need this. This dress is tight in the upper arms and has not a lot of coverage in the bust area. It stretches, but the fabric is rigid. So I suggest sizing up, especially if you are big on top. You'll love the way this looks on though. It hugs the area just under the bust and makes everything look tighter and lifted. Length is great too - I'm 5'4" and it hits me just at the top of the knee.

Beautiful, super flattering and comfortable! I feel so pretty when I wear it! I went with the blue and plan on getting the black as well.

I love this dress. It is a very comfortable and flattering three season dress. I usually wear an XS, but in all Patagonia dresses I wear a small, so maybe size up? It works with boots, sandals, and a scarf for work since it is a little low cut. The color is very flattering, just like picture. I have several of these dresses and they are definitely go to.

Love this dress! Most Patagonia stuff runs small in the bust, so I order one size up. very sexy little black dress. If you are busty, you might want to wear a camisole under it. I plan to wear it in Las Vegas, so the deep V-neck is perfect.

I'm 5'4" and 130 pounds; I ordered the M in black and am totally happy with the fit and feel of this dress. It felt tight at first when I pulled it over my head but then fit well in all the right places, a gentle a-line flare to the skirt. I really like it and will order the same style in a couple of other colors. Can't believe what a great basic dress this will be! I love to accessorize with scarves and jewelry, and this is absolutely the perfect canvas for that. Very happy with my purchase.

I loved this dress so much that I immediately ordered another one of a different color. The cut of the dress is very flattering, and the moab flowers/seaweed pattern is attractive without being too loud or too busy. This dress is long enough that it is safe to wear to work, but the V-neck does plunge rather low so I would recommend wearing a tank top underneath for work. I am 5'2" about 105 pounds and the size small fits me perfectly. I highly recommend this dress.

Super cute dress! I ordered this dress in a medium after reading other reviewers say it tends to run small. Well, I'm glad I listened to them, because it does! The medium fits perfectly (I'm 5'8", 125 lbs.) and it looks very stylish and is easy to dress up or make a bit more casual. I wear it with suede to-the-knee boots. I recommend this dress.

I am usually a size 4 and I bought a small. It fits perfectly. It is super flattering and show just the right amount of skin. The length is just above the knee and the slight flare to the skirt is so pretty. It is a wonderful dress. Five stars.

Perfect dress. So comfortable. I ordered this in L and XL (I'm a 12-14) because some reviews said it was too tight. While the dress is close-fitting, wearing the proper foundation garments did the trick and I ended up wearing the L. I dressed it up with heels and pearls for a corporate Christmas party and got a lot of compliments. I can't wait to wear it again.

Every year I am always so pleased with the different colors Patagonia releases for the Margot Dress. Not only do I have almost every color in the short sleeved version for summer-but now I have all the colors in the the sleeved version. I love this style of dress. I am short and curvy. I think this dress is extremely flattering-I can hike or walk in this dress-go to work in this dress and then feel comfortable going to dinner in this dress. Get it!

Great dress! I have worn it several times and I just adore it. Super comfortable and the fabric feels great. This dress looks great with boots, flats, or heels. Just wish it came in petite sizes. I'm 5’1” and had to get several inches taken off.

Adorable dress but runs slightly small. I am 5'2" and petite. Usually I wear an xs but the xs is pretty tight in the chest. I kept it hoping it may stretch a bit. Received many compliments. Very flattering on any figure.

This little black dress is well made and fits very nicely. Very flattering and slenderizing. Even after washing and putting in the dryer, it doesn't shrink and withstands it's shape, I wear this dress every week, with boots or flats and a cardigan. Patagonia is a very good, well made brand.

I really like this dress. It has a casual, but still dressed up look to it. The material is stretchy, but doesn't look cheap or like spandex. There is a bit of room under the arms, which is nice. I'm very happy with it!

I really like this dress! It doesn't wrinkle and the blue color is lovely. The only negative is the top is cut too low, I must wear my "boob tube" with it or it looks as if my boobs will "fall out." However, this dress looks great on and is very flattering. I think this dress would flatter most figures.

Great fitting dress -- not too tight but still form fitting. I'm usually a 4 in dresses, but went with a medium in this and I'm glad I did because the lighter blue band fits just right. The V-neck top does come too low for me and I wear a camisole underneath. Overall, a very comfy great looking dress that I'd purchase again.

Love this dress. I was looking for something to wear to work on workout days--washable but not too casual, and this is just what I need. It is a bit low cut in front, so if you're at all busty you'll probably want a cami underneath. And thanks Zappos for the email notification when the color/size I wanted came back in stock!

The blue/grey floral print/pattern is beautiful. It's a snug fitting dress but hides flaws well.

I bought this for my wife - sort of a shot in the dark for me. But, it was true to size and looks great on her. She tells me she loves it and that it's real comfortable. A+ for me!!

This dress is great, I was able to dress it up with jewelry for a wedding, but it will also be fine with flip flops for a casual girl's night. Based on other reviews I ordered a medium, 5' 6" 135lbs., and it fits perfectly; but FYI if I would have had time to reorder it in a large I may have liked it even better - the medium is pretty form fitting.
