I wanted to love these shoes so much - they look great, the leather is really nice and what? Black and brown in the same shoe? Perfect, I can wear with it all - but I took the first pair out of the box and the stitching on the strap came undone entirely as I was putting them on. Zappos to the rescue! Within another day I had a replacement pair on my doorstep - upon examination, the stitching looked delicate again, and I began to suspect that this was just how it is...I even mentioned as much, that I was almost afraid to wear them, and had my doubts, but in the process, Zappos had also given me a gift certificate for my troubles, and since summer was coming I purchased a pair of flip flops which I proceeded to wear in lieu of anything else all summer long, relegating these Jambus to the closet. All of a sudden it became fall here in Mount Shasta. When I woke up this morning I realized it was time for a little more foot coverage. I put these on and, within seconds, I heard the sound of stitches breaking...yep. This time, on the other side of the strap. Seriously? I am not hard on shoes - in fact, I am that person with some decade-old pairs of nice leather shoes that are still in great shape. I figured these would be part of that...I drive to work, generally, and I own a tiny little boutique in town, so while I am standing a lot I am not exactly covering a lot of ground. Unfortunately, I am once again returning a pair of Jambus, and I won't ever purchase this brand again despite their fabulous design team, because the quality doesn't actually match up to the very good looks. Oh and also - for the warning, one of those crystal salt rocks should be used on your feet prior to wearing these. I haven't ever had a pair of shoes cook up the kind of stink that these do - and I am not prone to the kind of godawful foot odor my feet in these shoes produced. Not sure what is happening with these insoles, but it is all just a shame.

I stupidly thought I could wear these, even though I wear a wide in some shoes. Medium fits me fine for others, like the Keen Venice and Merrell Jungle Mocs. So I wore these on my commute to work today, and even with just a short walk, by the time I got to the office my little toes were raw and I was limping. And I was wearing socks! Bottom line is, if you are medium-to-wide DON'T GET THESE. I would say don't get them unless you're narrow-to-medium. It's a shame, because they're a lot cuter than the Venice.

Eh, not loving these so much! The fit is a little odd and they look a little clunky. Not a nature girl, then don't buy these. Can't say that they were all that comfortable on. As for the size I wear an 8, I bought an 8 and the fit is true to size. Don't go bigger; they look like they will stretch out.

I bought these shoes for a trip to Greece. I thought they would be great to wear around the cities, but would also double as a sport shoe for hiking. The problem is each of the straps has exposed stitching on the inside which rubs your feet. I ended up half way through the first day of our trip with multiple blisters. I wore them several times before the trip without incident, but for much shorter amounts of time. They are fine if you aren't planning on a lot of walking. I have worn them since with no problems, but never again will I wear them for an extended amount of time. Also the strap broke on one of the shoes at the beginning of our trip. I ended up having to find a shoe repair store in Athens. The only way to make them functional on the trip was to wear socks. Thankfully I had 2 other pair of shoes. They are very cute but beware of the stitching.

I love the way these shoes look and feel. Mine are a tad big because no half size between 10 and 11, and the 10 was too short. But the insole/sock liner not only bunches up, the top layer stuck to itself and is impossible to get unstuck and properly back in place. Also, you can't simply take the whole thing out and replace with another insert because of the way it is glued. I guess I should have worn socks with it, but that kind of kills the attractive look. Anyway, it's a disappointment is an otherwise nice shoe.

Made my heels bleed - The sole of the shoe is very comfortable, but the straps in the back irritated my heels so bad, that just from walking from the train station to work (6 blocks), my heels were bleeding. Can't return shoes that have blood stains. Big cost, and lots of TLC needed to repair my feet for just one wear.

Strange fit - These fit really oddly. They pinch in strange places and seem to run small. The heel strap would most definitely dig into your foot. My friend also purchased these from another store and had to sell them because they hurt her feet. I returned them.

Blisters! I love the look of the shoes and that it was a Jeep brand, but they were so uncomfortable. The straps on the back and on the sides hit your feet in such a way that I had blisters by the time I got off of work. I hated to not like them because they are so sharp, but my feet cringe when I think about putting them back on again. Not a good fit for my foot.

Jambu continues to disappoint by not having standard sizing! I ordered these in 9 and they fit like and 8! I really love the designs and promised comfort but alas every pair has to be returned because sizing is so off!

I own 2 other pair of Jambu shoes (although I completely wore out one pair!) and I love them. I decided to try a slightly different style and so I purchased the Dune. I should have gone with my first instinct and sent them back when I first took them out of the box. I didn't really like the look much, but since the other shoes were so comfy I decided to keep them. After wearing them for about 8 hours I can't wait to take them off. They rub a lot on the pinky toes which is weird because they aren't tight, they make my feet feel clammy; in fairness, I live in the Houston area, but it's actually pretty cold lately, not at all like summer where I could blame it on the heat and humidity. I can't wait to take them off! I'm bummed I'm stuck with them since I wore them. I should have stuck with the Tidal Terra Marine Vegan or rolled down my car window and thrown the money out - it would have gone to better use I'm sure.
