I'm disappointed with this shoe from the unfortunate seam that hits a bone on both feet to the visible glue.

I really wanted to love these but they are way too short. Without socks my toes pushed up against the the inside of the shoe with zero room - in fact my toes had to scrunch up a bit. It was such a big difference from other shoes in my size I thought perhaps they shipped the wrong size, but that was not the case. They also looked wide and less attractive on my foot than they look in the online photo.

Clunky, unattractive shoe. It also fit strangely. The size was fine but the toe box felt very low so my big toes were a bit compressed. The straps on the top also rubbed the top of my foot and were really uncomfortable after just 3 minutes of trying them on.

They are cute, but these are not meant to really walk around in for long. I walk in the city, on sidewalks mostly, about 5 miles a day. These aren't very good for that. I am constantly getting rocks etc, inside the shoe, and I have to take the shoe off to get the debris out. Plus, they aren't really rugged enough to hold up to this, which, I thought they were when I bought them. But they are cute and I will wear them to picnics and parties etc.

Too small in toe area. I love Jambu and have two other pair, but with these my toes kept hitting the front.

I have never bought larger than a size 9. I wasn't expecting this shoe to run small. I may purchase a larger size and give it another try.

First, let me say I love the style of this shoe. And evidently others do to, because when I wear them, I always get compliments. However...here's the bad stuff: 1) I get blisters on both my 2nd toes when I do a lot of walking in these. (I ordered my usual 7.5M and they are not tight, just rub funny in that spot.) My workaround is to put bandaids on when I wear them. Annoying, yes, but better than bleeding toes! 2) The arch support is terrible. I replaced the provided footbeds so that helps some. 3) When I got these in mid-May, the width size felt good, but I've noticed as time goes by they feel wider so there must be some natural stretching going on. This is my first pair of Jambu's. Not sure if I will order this brand again, or if I do I'll do a long break-in inside my house to be sure they work out.

This was a big disappointment. I ordered a 9 instead of an 8.5 according to reviews. The shoe is long enough but the toe protector still rubs the top of my big toes. The shoe is much wider than a B width. It's not attractive. My foot slides around. It is kind of heavy. The foot bed is wonderful. I wish the rest of the shoe was as great.

These shoes felt so comfortable right out of the box, and I bought them believing they were meant to be worn without socks. But blisters erupted on my toes after wearing them to walk the dogs (just a 35 minute walk). I'm hoping that by wearing socks for awhile with these shoes, they'll break in & I can ditch the socks. If not, I'll be disappointed.

I love these shoes-I got them in red last summer. One think I wish Jambu would stop doing is creating shoes that have a closed-in footbed that have rubberized insoles! The reason I gave 3 starts for overall and comfort is because the rubber insole makes my foot all sweaty and it becomes uncomfortable on a warm day. If I wear these in an air-conditioned environment, they're fine, but once I wear them outside int he summer, it's not too comfy. I wish Jambu would do some kind of lining on their insoles. Comfy shoes, cute shoes, other than my complaint.

I read all the reviews before buying this shoe. I thought I would totally love them! Well, that was partially true. The first pair, one shoe was wider than the other, sent back. Next pair, I reordered, fit perfectly, but as I walked around the house for a few minutes, they rubbed on the tops of my toes and my feet started to get warm. I planned to wear these without socks. I was disappointed in them overall; they looked cute on, but I've made the mistake of being guided by cuteness and not foot comfort, hence the closet full of cute shoes that my feet hate! Try them, you might like them. The footbed felt like latex to me and was not barefoot friendly. Wear socks with sandals? No way!

This style was exactly what I was looking for for a recent trip. This is a very roomy shoe, even though I did a "no-no" and inserted my orthotics on top of the footbed. I still have to fasten the strap as tightly as possible. I wore this shoe almost everyday for 21 days. I couldn't walk very far without getting blisters on the tops of my toes. Cotton shoe "liners" solved the problem, but distorted the appearance. Am disappointed in the quality: topstitching broke after a few days' wear. Not sure if I'll buy any more Jambus after this experience.

These sandals are so cute! I couldn't wait to get them, especially since most of the reviews claimed excellent arch support. Well, they do not have excellent arch support. In fact, there's barely any at all. I am quite disappointed, as they were made well, heavy leather and great soles, but I planned to do a lot of walking and without the right support (and also a back strap that rubbed), I couldn't keep them. Zappos is fabulous, and I will continue ordering.

I was on the fence about keeping these shoes. I have flat feet and the arch support felt like it was rubbing the side of my foot. It felt better after I wore the shoes for a little while. I walked around San Francisco all day in these and they were comfortable, except that the heel strap rubbed quite a bit.

Not as comfortable as I had hoped, bottom not thick enough, and something sticks out giving me discomfort and blisters on the right side.

I am really in love with the look of this shoe, but after only a few weeks of normal wear, the insole fabric came loose (this happened right away) and the whole foam insole began to dissolve. I could have returned them, but feared the same result from another pair. I took them to a local cobbler who designed a whole new insole. I am happy to have the shoe back, but this was a real pain.

Just o.k. Love the way they look. But it rubs on the back of my right heel. Only wear them if I’m not going to be walking long distances. Very cushy though-nice.

Great to Look at - I ordered these shoes because they looked so comfortable and that they are however I am now returning my second pair after only one wearing each. It seems the ankle strap is not well engineered or I have gotten two defective pair. I couldn't be happier with everything else. Zappos shipped them overnight they even were nice enough to give me a gift coupon for the inconvenience of them breaking on the first wearing. None the less I am going to return the second pair and order them again because I like them that much. I know the next pair will be Great!

Very disappointed. This is a very cute sport, mary jane shoe. But, the leather is stiff and rubs, and the fit is odd, as others have pointed out. The toe box is just a tad too short, and uneven....it rubs on some of the toes on the left foot, but not others. Returning these.

This was my third pair of Jambus, and I was thrilled to find something to replace my favorite Jambu Coconuts. But these did not even come close to the Jambus I have come to know and love. My feet hurt from wearing them all day, and rubbed on the inside to make them uncomfortable. I replaced the footbed with an orthotic, but still was not able to achieve the blissful comfort achieved with my previous two pair. I feel the replaceable footbed took away from the thickness of the rubber sole of previous sandals. Big disappointment.

I bought these shoes years ago but as J-41's by Jeep. I loved them and have been looking for them ever since, but when I found them here they're Jambu. I thought maybe I had been mistaken or something until I ordered these and a J-41. they're the same exact thing except for the arch support. In the Jambu it's almost non-existent. I was very disappointed to say the least. I found a used pair of this same exact shoe (the shoe that i remembered buying years ago) on another site and bought them. They were great. They were just like I remembered them. Great arch support and comfy. I was really bummed that I had to return these but unfortunately I guess they don't make them like they used to.

They squeak! Yikes! First they ran very small and these are almost too small, but then I tried them out in the house and they squeak when I walk. I can't wear shoes that squeak!

Very stiff - and the top edge of the heel digs into your heel immediately (and I have narrow heels/ankles to begin with); this has "heel blister" written all over it. I found this to be a problem with all the different Jambu styles I received in this order. It got sent straight back (as did all the others).
