Comfortable and stays on - This is the shoe I've been looking for because it is very open, but has enough straps to stay on my feet instead of flip-flopping when I walk. I agree with other reviewers that the insole is a little strange. It's a little too soft and not well attached. Mine is staying put so far, but I hope it holds up.

Just o.k. It rubs on the back of my right heel. Good for short distances. Very cushy though, nice. The insole was loose when I received them. Still, the insole is comfortable, sticks a little to my foot if I don't wear socks.

Really cute style - I was looking for a closed toe and heel sandal and these fulfill the look. Not quite as comfortable as I hoped they would be but after a days wear they are feeling better. I have a medium width foot but they tend to rub a little on an inside seam. I really like them and am happy with the purchase even though they are not as comfortable as they look like they would be. I generally wear a 6.5 or a 7 but needed the size 7 with this shoe.

I love the look of this shoe and I was looking for comfort, I'm on my feet all day. The shoes were great when I put them on but after all day in them my toes on my left foot are sore. I've never noticed before that my left foot was bigger then my right.

Great Comfort - These shoes are very comfortable. True to size. They provide stylish protection for light hiking. I wear them all day and don't think about my feet once!

Ouch - SOOO CUTE!!! The insoles did do the bunching up thing when I took them off, but flatten back out fine when putting them back on. They do not just slide off & on easily. The heel strap on the right shoe keeps giving me a blister, but the left one is fine. They are so cute I'll keep wearing them, but think they're best for spring & fall.

Super cute but not as comfortable as hoped - This shoe didn't meet my expectations of comfort for the price. It fit well if a tiny bit snug, I normally wear an 8, and I ordered the 8. It is very stiff, and parts of the seams on the top rub; I imagine they would cause blisters. Perhaps breaking them in would help; I am returning them and keeping the Keens I bought instead. The insole is ok, not great, and the material is slightly sticky. I live in TX where summers are super hot, and I imagine this shoe being a sweaty, sticky nightmare in 100 plus degree heat. They are super cute though.

Cute and fairly comfortable - As cute as I hoped. I have worn them about a month - with socks most of the time - to break them in. The only place I have felt that might give me a blister without the socks is the straps at the back of the heel. Nothing wrong with the straps - just a sensitive place on my feet after the winter months. Only complaints are that the stitching on one of the straps (main strap on left shoe) has come loose, and when I take them off (when I haven't been wearing socks) the inner soles pull up away from the shoe - sticking to my feet. I really like these shoes, and am going to try to fix these 2 problems myself, rather than returning them. I want to keep them!

I tried to love this shoe. I walked around the house in it and it just is not comfortable. It flops around on my foot and feels very loose. That said, I must say Zappos is awesome. I had to return the first pair I received as it was defective. Zappos took care of the rapid reorder without charging my account and I had the new ones in 2 days! The second pair is not defective but fits completely different that the first pair (bigger). SO, I am guessing the quality control may vary with this brand. Back they go.

Had high hopes. Nice style; lots of compliments and inquiries. Toe box has lots of room and no rubbing at all on bunions. But there's quite a bit of chafing on both outer sides of wide part of feet, as if insole needed just a tad more width. So had to wear socks to keep from chafing. Don't think I'll be bringing these to Europe.

Disappointed, I've ordered several pairs of Jambu shoes over the past few years. These definitely run smaller than other pairs. I've alway been an 8 ½ but not with this shoe. In addition I wear orthotics and they won't work with this shoe.

I ordered these to replace my almost 4 year old version of the same shoe, which has taken me through Panama, Mexico and parts of Europe until they just wore out. They were the perfect travel shoe. But this model is shorter in length (I wear a 7 or 7.5 and the 7.5 is too short). It also has a higher curve of rubber on the top of the toebox so the fit is snug in height as well. I am returning them for a size 8, the first time ever that I've needed an 8 so I think this shoe is mis-sized. However! The original version was so comfortable on cobblestones and broken sidewalks and even in jungle mud that I hope the size 8 works out.

I am a true 11. This shoe runs short, or the toe cavity is just too tight. It squeezes the top of the toes.

Very cute shoe but little if any arch support. In fact on the inside part of the shoe, not enough shoe material so arch showed. A little odd. Returned even though the size was right.

I thought these would be perfect after exchanging for the right size, but I find my foot slides forward, so toes get jammed. They are very cute, but will not be able to wear, so will pass them on. Not fair to ask Zappo for a return after this amount if time. I just can't wear them.

I'm disappointed in these shoes. I have an much older pair that is still more cushy and will be better for travel than this new pair. I could walk all day in the first pair. I had to go up a size too! The look of the shoes is similar so I thought Jambu would keep the same quality and comfort.

I bought these shoes for a trip abroad that involved a lot of walking. I wanted some shoes that were both cute and comfortable. They were cute, so they satisfied that criteria. However, the right shoe fit differently than the left and rubbed a blister on my foot as well as rubbed in another spot and caused a sore to appear. Needless to say I was not able to wear them after that and could not wear my tennis shoes either due to the blister. Fortunately I had brought a pair of Merrell sandals with me and ended up wearing them most of the trip. I was disappointed in these shoes.

I am trying very hard to love these, but it's not working. I like their styling, and they seem quite well-made. I had hoped to wear them without socks, but my feet stick to the base, and it wants to come off the bottom of the shoe. With socks or footies, this problem is solved, and they are great for walking. The toebox is larger than I'd like, especially when barefoot. I wouldn't buy them again, and will probably avoid the brand until they change the toebox sizing down the road.

These were comfotrable, and the leather was very soft, but the firm toe guard in front was a little too snug for my toes. I could feel it on top of my big toe, although admittedly my big toe is unusually tall and has bone spurs which make it very sensitive. The arch support was very good, if you are the kind of person who does not especially need it. If you have foot problems and make that a big priority, it is not quite enough.

The style of this shoe can't be beat! Need a closed toe, they have you covered. Need a sandal, also covered there. Need a black shoe, or a brown shoe, this one is both! However, the comfort and durability could be improved. They rubbed my feet, especially the back of the ankle and the little toe. I wish the foot bed was a bit more padded. Also, I've only worn them for moderate use, and for about 6 months on and off (not during the winter) and one of the leather straps broke! Also, the sole of the shoe is coming unglued from the top part in several places. I may take them in for repair somewhere. I'm a bit disappointed, especially for a shoe this price, but they just look so great. I always get compliments.

These shoes are cute and comfortable, but are more flimsy than I expected. The sole feels more like a flip flop than the other Jambus I have. While this might be excellent for just hanging out, I wanted them for walking a city with cobble-stone streets, so I'm returning them.

I like them, but they run almost a whole size too small/short in length. Will reorder in a larger size. They did seem pretty comfortable on the foot-bed. Supportive.

Although Jambu has become a favorite, I was ultimately disappointed with Dune. Even after sizing up to a 7 1/2 from a 7 (very short in toe), I found the low back to provide minimal support and to rub naggingly in a tender spot of the heal. I had to wear Bandaids underneath the strap and could only use them in short bursts on my recent FL trip. I wish Jambu would maintain a level of consistency in sizing, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I think I finally realize that only their open-back styles work for me. These are rather cute though.

I loved these shoes when I got them. They are very comfortable and cute, great for walking and riding my bike. However after six months, one of the straps tore off and it does not look repairable since the strap just sort of disintegrated. I am very disappointed in the lack of durability.
