I had previously owned these same shoes but outgrew them and had not had a pair for a few years but decided to get a new pair and I still LOVE them as much as I did years ago.

I have received SO many compliments on these shoes! Not only do they look great, but they feel great as well! They felt comfortable from the very first time I wore them and I'm on my feet the majority of the day. I had read other reviews to size up a 1/2 size. I typically wear between a 6.0 and a 6.5 so I ordered the 6.5. They feel great with plenty of room - not tight at all. I'm guessing if I'd ordered the 6.0 they would have worked but been a tiny bit snug. LOVE these shoes!!

These are super comfortable and look very cute! They make my feet look small and offer great arch support. Love these shoes!! (I wouldn't wear them for exercising but for every day walking and running errands they are supportive and comfortable.)

Perfect fit, wore all day upon receiving. Color very complementary, exactly what I was looking for to go with ankle jeans.

I went up half a size as with all of my athletic sneakers. The fit is perfect from toe box to heel. Wraps the foot and supports the arch. A little snub-nosed in appearance, but absolutely out-of-the-box comfortable.

I needed a new pair of walking sneakers especially with my heal spur. My doctor stated it needed to have good arch support this New Balance style definitely fits the bill. Feels like I'm walking on clouds but yet stable.

I love these shoes. I wore them right out of the box for an entire day with no issues and no need to break them in. They are cute with jeans and active wear.

I recently went on a trip to Europe and I chose "style" shoes over comfort shoes - and really wished I hadn't! I thought of these shoes tucked away in my closet and wished I could magically transport them across the Atlantic. That story aside, these shoes are super comfortable for long distances, especially for someone like me with flat feet, but depending on the style of jean/pant, they can appear a little bulky if the pant is too skinny/fitted. Either way, I would definitely recommend this shoe for long distances of casual walking, as I found it very supportive and cushioning. And I am definitely taking it on my next trip!

This classic design is what I was looking for. The arch support makes the shoe really comfortable. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I've worn New Balance shoes for years. I recently broke a bone in my foot and needed shoes with a substantial sole and good ankle support. I bought these in Wide and they're working out really well. The insoles are a little hard so I've replaced those with something softer. I have a very high arch and these provide enough room over the top of the foot.

Very comfortable with my orthotics and look good. Even though size 8 they don't look that big. Nice color. Like these shoes very much.

This is my 3rd pair. I have wide feet and need to use an orthotic so finding a shoe with a true Wide size is a must. Plus the shoes are super comfortable and never wear out. Thanks to Zappos for carrying the Wide size I need.

First time ever buying new balance and I'm in love! For having an almost 10 size foot...it's hard to find shoes that make mine look small but these do and with comfort! I love the old school look and have gotten several compliments. Ordered my normal size and no problems whatsoever.

I have an average width foot and these fit great! I bought them to wear with a nicer casual outfit (jeans) but I've also worn them to exercise and they did not hurt my feet. Very cute and neutral color makes them a versatile choice!

This is my second pair of these "classics". I have bunions (sorry, TMI?) and the toe box is perfect for my foot. Nice and roomy. I can't see me buying any other workout shoe.

Love these shoes! I have owned NB 574's for years. They are comfortable, supportive, and attractive. These are no exception. I usually wear a size 8B, but in these, I had to go up 1/2 a size to an 8 1/2 B. The exchange for the correct size went very smoothly. Zappos customer service is the BEST!

These shoes are fantastic! I'm a 9.5EW or a 10W--got the 10W and they fit like a dream. I put in my own inserts and wear them all day everyday (I stay at home with our kids and am on my feet all day) and my feet don't get tired at all. I also have a high instep but the toe box is nice and y'all. The only thing I would warn about is the heel area may be a little sloppy at first, I'm a wide but my heels are not wide but after a few days they mold to your feet really nicely. I am completely satisfied both with Zappos and this shoe and if there were an auto-buy-every-few-years option, I would turn it on for these!!

I was taking a three-week trip to Ireland and really needed a sneaker for all the walking I would be doing. My daughter suggested this New Balance Classic and it was the perfect choice!! I have never purchased any shoe or sneaker that did not require a break-in period but not with this gem. I put the sneaker on and walked for three weeks without one problem. This is such a comfortable shoe and definitely looks like a classic, so much so that I am planning on getting another pair just to have on hand as a spare!! Of course, as always, Zappos easy of ordering, quickness of delivery, and customer service are second to none - great place to shop for any and all shoes!!

Love my 574. Got the grey and they look just like the picture. Great shoe especially for the price. Had these when I was in grade school and loved them so I got them again...still love them. Zappos has the best prices and fast shipping.

These run small, particularly in the toe area. I ordered my usual sneaker size and wore them for an hour and was incredibly uncomfortable. I would recommend ordering a size up. Even in a size up, they're still very cute and I like them a lot.

These shoes are for fall, so I haven't worn them much. They are so comfortable (and I have trouble finding a shoe that's so "comfy"). I look forward to wearing them (not sure about arch support though).

These are great shoes but I am usually between an 8 and an 8½ and I read that these might run a little large but that is not true. Size up if you are unsure, I had to exchange them.

I love these shoes! I work at a doctor's office and wear these almost everyday, all day. They are very comfortable, light weight and casual for day-to-day wear.
