These are very comfortable right out of the box. They were a touch shorter than expected, so one of my toes just touches the end of the shoe. I wear a 4E width and it is hard for me to find shoes that don't put pressure on my bunions. These are a welcome relief. The shoes are lightweight, but due to having a lot of padding, they are a bit bulky overall. Nonetheless, I can see these becoming my favorite pair of "comfort" shoes.

Best Shoes for the money. The comfort is good, the support is good. I wear them for work, and I find myself on all types of surfaces, even wet ones. They are very predictable and wear well, I\'m on my second pair.

This is an excellent shoe for people on their feet all day. It provides comfort and good support. I added the hideously bright orange supports for an additional cost and was happy that I did. Zappos' service is stupendous, quick and (at least for my three orders) flawless.

None. New Balance is the brand that best matches my feet.

Comfortable shoes.
This shoe has removable insoles, which I need for orthotics. The toe is rounded, so there's no pressure on the outside toes. Looks are good. Fits true to size.

This was a gift for my father; he is wearing them so I suppose he likes them.

Review -
This shoe feels great. I ordered a wide width and it did not make my feet feel cramped inside the shoe. It also provides a great deal of comfort and support

Good but not great -
Shoes are just a bit tight - in order to use any kind of inserts, I will probably have to wear very thin socks.

Comfortable Walker -
Truthfully, I was very disappointed that my old favorite Brooks Walker was not available, and, thus, I was a bit nervous about trying, for me, an unknown shoe. At first, this shoe was a bit stiff, but, after a day of walking, the shoe has broken in very nicely without any painful pinching or blisters. I was able to walk a long day through a big convention center without any inconvenience, and the shoes seemed to help keep my back and legs from feeling achy and stiff -- an important consideration when one is over fifty and is walking on concrete floors and lugging a heavy bag all day. All-in-all, it's a decent and comfortable walking shoe for the price. I knocked it down one star in appearance as I don't care for flashy details like silver or white trim or names or letters on my footwear -- even small ones. I wish they made this shoe more plainly AND in a nice espresso brown leather, then I'd buy a second pair.

I don't know whether NB changed their design, but this shoe had NO arch support. If someone wanted to add custom orthotics, this shoe might work well.

Shoe review -
Soles sound cheap when you walk on a hard surface. Also, the heels are not very comfortable. But I like the looks of the shoe.

I\'ve had several pairs of MW575 and MW574 in size 10EE. I always was able to just put them on and in about 2 hours they were broken in and felt great for months. I purchased 2 pairs of MW576 thinking they\'d be the same, but they were very uncomfortable, even after 2 weeks. The bump in the middle of the forefoot was so large that it annoyed me with every step. Even though this shoe looked to be the same length, I was crowded in the toe box. I even tried new insoles but they were even more uncomfortable. \r\n\r\nI called New Balance to find out what was going on and they informed me that the MW575 was made on the AL-1 last, but the MW576 changed over to the SL-2 last (making it a completey different fitting shoe). New Balance was very responsive and allowed me to return the 2 pairs directly to them. They sent me a pair of MW926 in black and a pair of MK706. The MW926 was OK for a while (even more stable in the heel), but still not as comfortable as the MW575, and after about 4 months have become very uncomfortable. The MK706 was both too short and wide in the midfoot and heel so I couldn\'t stand them for more than an hour. New Balance has suggested I try the mw845 so I\'ve ordered a pair of those to try. I\'ve also tried on a variety of NB and other brands at local stores, but haven\'t found anything that fit like the MW575. \r\n\r\nI\'ve come to rely upon my New Balance shoes for consistent fit and to get me through the day, but this new model was an extreme disappointment. I don\'t understand why NB took a great product and ruined it for me. I have to give NB kudos for making a wide range of sizes and for good customer service. My complaint is that NB gave me something great then took it away. This is a cardinal sin of customer service. \r\n\r\nThe bottom line is if you liked the MW575 don\'t count on the MW576 as a replacement.

I waited quite a while before ordering this clutch, because I couldn't imagine what it would feel like. Well, surprise...it sort of feels like a soft, cushioned foam. Odd, but not a bad feeling. It looks dressy, but feels as if it will wipe off easily. Unlike all the patent purses out there, this one won’t show fingerprints. I think it's a perfect dressy purse...looks great, and is comfortable to carry...very flexible. If you have some black in your wardrobe, and like yellow gold jewelry, it will match just about everything! The zipper and clasp keep everything secure.

Why is "New and Improved" never improved?
I know these designers have to justify their jobs, but why do they have to take perfectly good designs and screw them up? An excellent MW 810 was turned into an uncomfortable 811; now a very good MW 575 becomes a heavy, clunky 576. Why can't they leave well enough alone?? PS: The 570 series runs short so the arch is out of place when you have to order the next half size up.

I've been a New Balance guy for many years and this is the worst of their walking shoe designs. They raised the sides up causing a constant ankle rub, making them practically unwearable.

I have previously written about NB's decline in quality concerning the short velcro straps which only covered 1/2 of the strap. Now that I have worn them I can tell you to avoid New Balance at all costs. I have been wearing NB since 1970. These shoes were not made by the NB Company I have known for 40 years. They have obviously been bought by someone who is riding on their good name. After a single day's wearing, my feet had blisters on both toes and heels. We are not talking about hard leather wing-tipped shoes which need to be broken in. We are talking about walking shoes! The construction of these shoes is terrible! What a shame such a noble company has gone to hell.

This shoe looks like the work shoe I wanted, all black. Normally, I wear NB 608AB, but they are getting harder to find. So I tried a pair of MW576. I am a letter carrier and walk about 6 miles a day. I hate the pain this shoe causes especially in my right foot. I even bought Spenco shoe inserts and the pain kicks in eventually. I will never buy this shoe model again. I never had pain from shoes when I wore 608 cross training. I heard they made a newer model and I will check it out. The MW576 was just so uncomfortable that I wondered if there was a defect in the right shoe. The pain was in the ball of my foot. Overall, this shoe sucks.

This is NOT a "new and improved" model!
I used to wear MW575 before it was discontinued. They were always so comfortable. Then I tried these MW576's. Immediately, my Achilles tendonitis and heel spurs returned after 2 days of wearing this shoe. It is chunkier and heavier than the MW575 and has an unattractive rounded toe.
