I bought these boots a few years ago and I absolutely love them!!! I wear them all the time because its such a color they can go with anything. The most I like about this boot other than the quality is the heel, its very thin and the round toe!!!! They are a little big but I wear thick socks with them, I tried a smaller size and I couldn't get my foot in them. I am going to buy the brown color!!!!!

I bought these boots in black as a birthday present for myself in 2008. I have worn them through many years of college and all of the weather and walking that comes with that, and with some good shoe polish and leather cleaner, they are still doing great. I have had them reheeled and resoled, but that is expected maintenance. When I first got them, they took a few months to break in - I specifically remember crying the first night I wore them (to an event with a lot of walking) because I didn't realize you have to break in good boots - but now they are well broken in and I wear them all winter with no issues at all. For me, they are true to size, and I am pretty reliably a 9 in Frye. I would not hesitate to repurchase these... if there weren't so many other Frye styles I'm drawn to that are taking my money instead. For price per wear I'm in the pennies range by now, so they have been an excellent value for me.

Love these boots! They are super comfy and only had to sand the soles a little bit to remove some of the slippery-ness.

I have owned these boots for at least 5 years now. I love the way they fit and have held up well. I wear them all the time once its starts to get cold out. I haven't had to resole them until recently.

I bought these a month ago in the slate (dark gray) color with rugged (distressed) leather. The combination of the color and layered look gives them a casual, rock vibe that I really love. They look great with jeans. The boots have the typical Frye qualities - comfortable to wear from day one, high quality, and stylish. However, they scratch easier than any other Frye shoe I own - the others are browns and blacks so I'm not sure if the color isn't dyed as deep into the leather with the gray. I don't mind as I like the distressed look but I'm easy on my shoes so it was a bit of a surprise. I fit 9.5 in Frye and found these to be a tiny bit large in the length. I'm not sure if I might have been able to fit a 9. They're not so big that I sent them back to try. I tried to find these in the San Francisco store but they didn't carry this line when I went in Oct 2017 so I had to order online.

I have been eyeing frye boots for a few years but could never seem to justify spending that much on shoes. After several failed attempts with less expensive boots, I finally decided to spurlge and purchase these. I am soooo glad I did. They are gorgeous, well made and comfortable! I don't think I will ever own another brand - these are well worth the investment!

These are my favorite boots! This is my second pair. I needed a darker pair of boots, and I knew I wanted another pair of the Paige boots.

This is my 3rd pair of Frye boots. The first pair I wore for 25 years with a couple of resoles. I loved those boots and now I have 2 pair that I love also. The only thing I did not like was the slippery sole. I took them to the shoe repair shop and had rubber soles added.

I just received these so I do not have the long history to review but I will say this...1. They fit my 17.5" calves! Which was my main concern. The slit in the back of the boot makes the top of my calf a breeze to fit in. 2. They are quite comfortable so far. Wearing them for my first 8 hour day today so I'm hoping I'm as excited about the feel tonight since I splurged on them for an upcoming trip. 3. They are really beautiful and fit well. 4. So far, the insole on the right boot is a little loose and bends under my foot when I walk. It's not as bad when wearing thick wool socks as opposed to thin silk ones but I will either be glueing them down or getting new insoles like super feet.
