I like the boots but they are very hard to put on. The heel does not give and there is no zipper. I do love the color and look!

I guess a lot of women have stick legs. I'm 5'4" and 130lbs and I took ballet as a child and have big calves and I could NOT get these over my calves. I couldn't even get my foot inside so I have no idea if the shoe part feels good. I had read reviews of people who said they had room for jeans as well so I thought they would fit but no go. Cute boots but back they go. :(

I love these boots. I wore them three straight days, two walking through Chicago, through the first wear, and they were so comfortable. They look great; the shaft height is fantastic and I love the flat heel. They are a perfect fit, however I almost returned them because the right boot is nearly impossible to get on. The left slid right on, but it took my boyfriend, housemate and I ten minutes of trying before we realized it was futile. My heel kept catching on the heel of the boot and could not move through. I tried again the next morning, and I was, after another arduous struggle, able to get them on. The left one looked so great, I was determined, and while the right is getting easier to get on, it's still a bit of a wrestle. I'm looking forward to breaking them in more and getting a long shoehorn to make it a bit easier. Also, this is the most I've ever paid for shoes, and it was totally worth it.

I really wanted to love these! Color is great! They are just too big and not slimming. Cuts at my knee weird.

I ordered these and am really happy with them. The leather is beautifully made and high quality. They were a little stiff but started to loosen up within a couple times of wearing them. The only thing I don't love about them is they slouch around the ankle a little bit.

I really wanted to love these boots. My calves are 16 inches and i just wasn't comfortable with how tight the boots were around my calves. They are beautiful boots though! These are going back :(

I've been eyeing these boots for YEARS. I finally purchased them on sale. Unfortunately, I will be returning them because they are not quite what I'm looking for. First off, they are beautiful boots and are exactly as pictured. However, I was disappointed in a few things. I'm short (5'2") and the boots hit the back of my knees when I sit down. The boots also have almost NO traction, which makes them somewhat impractical for my needs. And finally, this is more of a style preference - the boots are a lot more casual and Western-looking in person than what I was expecting. So, it's back to the drawing board for me.

Great boot, worth the price. Zappo's had the best pricing. It is a little more casual of a look, compared to some of Frye's other boots (say the Melissa). It is a bit wide. Wide at the ankle and pretty loose in the calf. I am 5'5" with average calf size & it just comes across as a loose casual fit. Not too big to wear. Just not as tailored as other Frye boots.

Beautiful boot - very roomy in the calf for a casual/"Wellie"-style fit. Very flat/no heel. I am returning because I was looking for something a bit more sleek/fitted, but very nice casual boot.

Beautiful boots, but sadly they are going back. I have high arches and getting them on was almost impossible, but my primary problem was that I have athletic calves and they were just too snug with jeans on. Really wish they had fit. Thank you Zappos for your excellent return policy. I'm still glad I tried them on at home- I would've been embarrassed at the mall.

These boots are beautiful, but sadly I must return them. The top of the boot is too snug - otherwise I would give these boots five stars!

These boots are so beautiful, but they have no arch support. I bought the next size up so I could add an insert with more arch support. Fingers crossed, I will get the gorgeous look and reasonable walking boots, too.

These boots look more casual in person than they do online. The leather is very soft and the shoe fit is true to my size 10 with good room in the toes. The calf does not have a zipper. They are very wide so they are easy to pull up. , I was hoping for a more snug fit, but they do not hug my legs - I do not have skinny calves. Also, I am 5'9", and they stop right at my knee.

Really wanted to love this boot-this is my 6th or 7th one I ordered and have been returning. I wear a 10.5 have medium width feet and the 11 was to hard to get on. will keep trying-the free shipping is great!

Love would be an understatement. These are the most comfortable, beautiful boots I have ever had. I usually have the hardest time finding boots to fit my calves. (Im 5'4 size 8). While these did fit tight at first, they stretched out perfectly after a few wears. The greatest thing about frye boots is their warranty. My first pair of paige riding boots got a tear in the inside lining after wearing them for about a year. I called frye and the place I purchased them from and they sent me a brand new pair no questions asked! AMAZING!

These boots are beautiful and quite comfortable. I am disappointed in the quality with respect to the heel, however. After wearing the boots about five times, the rubber heel has already begun to separate from the leather sole. I will repair them and still love them, but would expect better quality from Frye.
