I got these boots just about a year ago and they look just as great as ever. When I wear them I feel stylish and comfortable. The leather is such high quality, the compliments never end! I definitely recommend them to anyone on the fence, worth the price!

Absolutely gorgeous! I\'ve been looking for good boots all summer and when I finally came upon these Fryes a few days ago, I knew I had to order them. I\'m so glad I did. Unfortunately, the pair I ordered from Zappos were too large (I normally wear a 6), so I\'ve sent them back. I ordered a 5.5 from the actual Frye website. So sad to have to send them back to Zappos, but thank goodness for free return shipping!

This boot is not only gorgeous, it's high quality, a great fit, and a timeless style. I've been looking for a classic boot like this for 2 years, and I saw this and knew right away it's what I had been looking for! no extra bulky buckles, zippers, stiletto heel, or the kind of extra decoration that kept me away from almost every other boot I looked at. the saddle color is beautiful, the toe is perfectly rounded, and the boot hits right below my knee (I'm 6'0 tall). I look forward to wearing this around my college campus all the time!

These boots are adorable and the leather is AMAZING! So soft, but with lots of character. I wear them as much as possible... even in the warm weather because they are so cute. They are also really comfortable for walking around all day. Great buy!

After oggling these boots for close to a year, hoping they would go on sale (a word to the wise: Frye boots never go on sale, they simply stop being made and then sell out). I finally decided to splurge last month and could not be happier. These boots are incredibly chic and fun and have so much more personality than a lot of other tall boots I see around. Zappos customer service was amazing as always, and they express shipped two different sizes to me. I'm usually a 9 or 9.5 depending on the toe bed (pointy shoes I'm a 9.5, rounded toes a 9) and the 9 fit perfectly. I'm not going to lie, it was a bit of a struggle to get them on and off for the first few days, but by the end of the week it was no problem. The leather is buttery soft and a beautiful color...Oh, I just love them! Cautionary tale: be SURE to get them water proofed/polished if you live anywhere but the desert as water will damage the leather.

This boot runs big. I wear an 8 and the 7 1/2 fit me ok. My heel still slips out easily but I am going to put an insert into the boot or wear thicker socks. Other than that they are a great classic riding boot and will be great with skinny jeans or a skirt. They are pretty casual boots but I like them because they don't have any hardware or fussy details.

These boots are really beautiful- they look good when I am wearing my old jeans for everyday, and look just as good for dressier outfits as well. Fit is true to size and they are extremely comfortable. I recommend!

Love! I had been contemplating these boots for over a year, and ended up getting the Frye Dorados in the meantime. I impulsively bought the Paige’s (they were on sale, had to do it!) and I am really glad I did as they are much more comfortable than my Dorados. However, they are a little big around the calf with a bare leg so I'll probably wear a different boot with skirts/leggings and just wear these with skinny jeans. I did get a half size smaller than I usually take and they are perfect. Now that I know how fab they are I am tempted to get another color, as living in chilly Minnesota, one can never have too many boots!

I love these boots - they go good with everything. Sizes do run big. I normally wear an 8, but bought 7 1/2 and they fit perfectly. I have skinny legs and the width around the calf fits very well - perfect with jeans or tights.

Great looking boots, but sadly I could not get my foot past the ankle because I have high arches.

Spend the money! These boots are awesome! I ordered a half size down from my normal size like I usually do with Fryes, and I had no trouble getting them on. I am a runner, so my calves are not sticks, and I am only 5’4”, but the boots do not shorten me. I do have long legs. I did have a cobbler add a more durable sole since I want these to last forever. You will not regret this purchase.

LOVE these boots, absolutely beautiful. I am a true size 8 and they are a tiny bit large, but I kept the size 8. They have a little wider leg (I have skinny legs though) so jeans easily fit in them with some room. They are stunning and I get compliments every time I wear them!

These boots are perfect for every day wear! When I first got them in, they were tremendously difficult to put on. My foot was not able to go through the base of the shaft (around the ankle area) and I was devastated as they looked beautiful. However, with a bit of stretching and tugging, I was able to get them on, and once there were on they were comfortable. After 2 days of wear, they went on and off with relative ease (only taking 1 minute vs. 4), and the pull tabs on the sides make it easy to pull them on. I want to wear them every day, they look so great and feel so comfortable! They are just the right height for me (I’m 5’6”) and look great with tights or with jeans tucked in. The calf is not loose on me - and not too tight either. I went with my normal boot size (7.5 M). The Frye boots are a classic and will last a lifetime - well worth the money to wear these boots for seasons to come!

I was so excited to get these in dark brown, and so disappointed when they arrived. Don't get me wrong- the boot is beautiful. Love that it's lined in leather, although yes sole is thin and there is no foot support. But the boot is beautifully styled and made. However, I have athletic calves (15"), and the minute I pulled these out of the box I knew they wouldn't fit. There's no way the calf circumference is 16", although this may also be the measurement of the opening of the shaft, where as the widest point of my calf is mid-calf. I couldn't pull the shaft completely straight so it scrunched up, and was painfully tight. The extra flap of leather didn't stick out too much though, and I don't think it made my leg look wider. I wear a 6.5 and the foot fit perfectly- not narrow or tight at all. Roomy but not too big. My feet are on the wider side. I love the look of these boots and love the dip in the back. I so wish they would have worked! I'm wondering if the shaft of the 7s would fit better, but then the foot would be too big, but insoles might solve that. Anyways, these are gorgeous and Zappos service is so terrific that they're worth a try.

First, I love Zappos! They were so helpful with getting me the right size and right color. I had to go through 3 pairs to get it just right, but they were helpful each step of the way. Okay, the boots. They are fantastic. I read a lot about sizing and ordering a size down. I normally order boots a half size up because I have wider feet, but these were true to my size. I think I could have almost gone a half size down - I just couldn't get my foot past the ankle part. I have sort of bigger calves - definitely have muscle there - and I love these for that. They fit just right and you don't have to have chicken legs to get into them. The front flap adds a certain element that at first I felt was too masculine/severe, but I love it now and I get compliments all the time. Definitely weather proof them - it was the first thing that I did. I have been traveling all over the Northeast, so I have worn them every day for about 30 days and I could not be happier!! The black was too severe for me in the style, so I was really happy with the dark brown. Goes with everything, but doesn't feel too militant. Hope that helps!

I love my boots! I read all the reviews and decided to go with my regular size 8. They seem to be true to size, just a bit wide, but nothing a sole insert doesn't help. I'm glad I did not size down as some suggested, as having such a tall shaft, they may be more difficult to get off. Zappos had them to me within 2 days! What a pleasant surprise! Thanks, Zappos...

The most amazing boots! Well I finally sprung for these boots. I was so nervous because of the price tag. I could barely wait to get the box opened when it arrived and what I found inside was enough to make me jump for joy. I opened the box and inside was a pair of the most gorgeous, classic boots I have ever seen. I couldn't believe they were mine, all mine! I ran right to my bedroom, threw on my skinny jeans, and pulled these babies on with nearly zero effort. They slipped right on and I was in love. The Paige boot is flat, but still ultra chic and sexy, and look amazing with a pair of skinny jeans. I don't really wear leggings, but I would imagine they would look adorable paired with these boots. The foot area was a little snug, but within 10 minutes they had practically molded to my foot and they were amazingly comfortable. For reference, my calf is about 13" in circumference, which is not large. I kept reading reviews prior to purchasing these which concerned me about them being way too large for my calves, but that was not the case. Once the boots were on my feet and my jeans were tucked in, I wasn't able to get my hand down in the boot at all, the fit was perfect. I ordered an 8.5 and it was true to size although there is a little extra room in case I want to wear thicker socks. I know it's a big purchase, but within 2 days of wearing and coveting these amazing boots, I feel like they are worth every penny. Think of it as an investment because you will have these boots for a very long time and they will never go out of style. I could see myself walking around NYC in these all day, they are that comfortable and fashion forward. You won't be sorry ladies.

These boots are beautiful in every way. I had ordered another high Frye boot, but the heel was too loose and felt too stiff. The detail, design and fit of these boots is impressive and worth every penny. They are classic.

I loved these boots online and in person; however, they just did not fit me. I am 5' 2" and the boot shaft was too tall. The boots are beautifully made! I wish they fit; however, I had to return them for another pair of Fryes! I wear a 7.5 and ordered a 7 and they fit perfectly.

I have runner\'s calves so finding a boot wide enough is difficult. These boots work really well and I can wear them with leggings and skinny jeans. They are comfortable for many hours.

I've been looking for a pair of flat heeled black boots for a long time. I've finally found the right ones. The shaft is wide enough to accommodate my athletic calves, plus leggings, and the leather is beautiful. I got a 9, which is what I would normally wear. The heel does slip a bit, but the width around the toes is just right, so I'd be afraid to go down a 1/2 size. I tried an insole from a pair of my running shoes and it feels just about right. I may try a heel insert, but I don't think it will be a problem. I love these boots, and of course Zappos' customer service is out of this world.

These boots are awesome! They look amazing off and on the foot. I was a little worried about the width of the boot from the description but they fit really well without any poofiness or gaping. The leather is soft but sturdy and the boot construction looks like it will last forever. The saddle color is beautiful, too. I am stoked to finally find a great wear with everything boot.

I love these boots! They are very comfortable to wear. I just have a few problems with them. They are much wider at the top than I imagined. They are definitely not a fitted boot. Also, they are very hard for me to get on and off. I use a long shoe horn to get them on, but I actually need assistance getting them off! I will probably buy a boot with a zipper next time.
