Keen Comfort - Keens always fit great (size 14). These shoes are a little warmer than expected and also a bit heavier. Not as light as sandals obviously, but a little more weight than I expected from the description. However, the comfort factor is so high, that the above comments are minor. Also they have tie laces, which is not apparent from photos, but was mentioned in other comments.

Typical Keen - This shoe is comfortable for long walks. It is a little wider than a normal "medium" width. The support it offers is very good, too.

Liked the shoe. Toe box is roomy. The shoe is very warm when you are not walking as there is little air allowed inside the front of the shoe.

Right shoe is a little high on the ankle and rubs on the ankle bone. Other than that the shoe is solid and well made.

I wore this shoe walking to and from work (3 miles round trip) and then all day at work for about a year, except in summer. I have high arches and found the shoe to be very supportive and comfortable. The sole wore out more quickly than I expected, but the rest of the shoe remained in excellent condition.

My feet say "ahhhhhh"- Having worked on a hard warehouse floor and walking several miles on it each day, I have been looking for a good shoe for years. I may have finally found it. I've been wearing this shoe for 3 weeks, and can say that it is the most comfortable shoe I've owned, ever, period. There was no break-in period with this shoe - great comfort the first time I put it on. However, it tends to run about a 1/2 size small, hence my giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for comfort. I will be buying this shoe again.

Keen shoe - I like the comfort and the quality build of the shoe. I wish the toe was not quite so big.

Great Shoe, but Could Use more Ankle Support - I tried a lot of hikers/walkers before deciding on this one. This is my second pair of Keens--I love their comfort, but I don't care for the rubber toe cover look (honestly, who needs that much toe protection?) Overall it's an awesome shoe--good stability, weight, design, and breathability. I also like that it doesn't have Vibram sole. Vibram soles are great for longevity, but they don't absorb any shock with every step, which results in fatigue. The downside is that these soles may wear out faster. My two gripes about the shoe: First, I like shoes that really grip the ankle when tied--these don't seem to. Second, Keen put a stitch seam in the middle of the tongue that puts unnecessary pressure on the top of my foot. Both of these annoyances may go away as the shoe gets "broken in", and other people may not even notice. I'm picky, because my shoes must last a long time. Overall, again, I really like the shoe; otherwise I wouldn't have kept them.

I really wanted to like these shoes. I normally wear a size 12 and had to go up to a 13 to get them to fit. The heel is extremely tall in them and I felt like I was in cowboy boots! Zero support for the arch. Just not a good match for me and the intended use of hiking ,sorry.

I think this is probably a great shoe but it did not work for me. My orthotics did not fit in it well (there seemed to be a gap between the heel of the orthotic and the heel of the shoe). They also felt very heavy. I exercised in them at home for an hour and had a sore knee and sore hips when I was finished. However, as with Keen products in general, it's a well constructed shoe with great support.

I had this shoe for a little more than a year. Was a good fit and comfortable to hike in. However after a little more than a year, the bottom treads are starting to break off.I've noticed other reviewers are having the same problem with this shoe. I've had hiking shoes in the past that lasted longer before the bottom started to fall apart. I like Keens as they are a good brand. But this is a newer version of this particular shoe. Unfortunately, this appears to be a defect.

I got these shoes at the beginning of summer and was very satisfied with the fit. Now 5 months later the bottom is coming apart. A big chunks of the grip on the bottom seems to have unglued and eventually broke off. Now another grip on the same shoe is doing the same thing. I have to replace them and will look for something else.

I have been wearing Keens for a long time and the last two pairs I have purchased, same size as always have felt short. The arch is perfect, heel is tucked in nice but my toes are hitting the front of the shoe when walking down hill. I went to REI to check out different sizes and while the next half size up solves the issue, the shoe is then too big. The shoe salesman told me that Keen has narrowed the toe box and that many people are finding the same issue. Switched back to Merrell. I really love this shoe, but if the shoe don't fit you can't wear is.
I'd also recommend:
Merrell, the toe box remains wide.

I liked so much about this shoes, except for one fatal flaw. When you tie the shoes so they are snug, it pulls these strips of material tight against the top of my feet. After two days of walking, there was a bruise on the top outside of my foot, at one spot. There was no padding to soften this. I would rest my feet for weeks, and then try again. Same result. Glad I got these at Zappos, as they refunded me the cost for what I think is a design flaw. I have always loved Keen shoes, but not this model.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable, but failed after 4 months of moderate use. I checked my fitbit and I only walked ~120 miles along streets and sidewalks. Very sad, I can not recommend theses shoes.

I bought these in February. They are comfortable shoes for everyday wear. However, three weeks later the tread started to separate on the right shoe while hiking. I repaired it. This week the entire left tread separated from shoe. It is not worth the money or the aggravation for a pair of shoes four months old. This is what I expect from a cheap pair of shoes. I will go back to my Merrells - they usually last at least a year or two before coming apart!

I got these shoes because I got plantar fasciitis in my left foot, and had once before had foot problems alleviated by wearing Keens. This pair looks and feels great and not quite 6 months since I got it, my foot is almost entirely healed. Very stylish and comfortable shoes.

Great fitting rugged shoes. Excellent price with the sale. I wish you had more available as I would have purchased another pair. I have a hard time finding comfortable well fitting shoes so when I do find them I buy several pairs.
