If you need a wide toe box, this shoe definitely has that. However, I found them to be a wide but also short in the toe box. I also ordered a pair of Solomons and will be keeping those, but returning the Keens.

Purchased the exact same size as older pair I have been wearing. Too small. Returned.

I liked these shoes, but after only a year of regular, most days, use, the tread is worn through and a sharp piece of plastic has emerged in the heel to dig my Achilles. I tried duct tape, but it’s popped through. For the kind of money I paid, I expected more than a year of use. Disappointed.

This is my final update to this shoe....third pair...and cannot get perfect fit. Got length right by upsizing 1/2 size but heel still swimming. Returned third pair and went with OBOZ Sawtooth for perfection out of box in my normal size. KEEN you need to re-engineer.

Love the colors in this shoe and thought this would be the winner. But, for my foot, it's far too wide and I didn't feel any cushion.

Sadly, I am going to have to return these. I loved the look and was really excited about the wide width that it offers, as my feet are wide. Just trying them on, I thought they were great, but after wearing them around the house for a while, my toes started to cramp up badly. I don't know why, but I don't want to be out on the trail and have this happen.

I wear many, many Keen shoes and love them. The sizing is definitely off on this shoe as my toe is pushing up against the end of the shoe. I find it frustrating when sizing is not consistant.

I almost liked these shoes. I need a bigger toe box for toes that seem to get blisters. That worked but the sides are too high for me. I broke my ankle skiing many years ago and my ankle bone is now protruding a little and it rubs on the sides of these shoes. Merrills are the only shoe with a lower side but I have not yet found one with a big enough toe box. Still looking. Sorry this one did not work out.

Nice toe box, light weight shoe. It has more cushion than the Merrells I have been trying. A bit of a hard edge on their metal support inside the heel area. I continue to struggle with the feeling that I have duck feet when I look down at Keens. Sad but true... I may choose this reaction over comfort. I wonder why their black rubber lip on the toe has to be so obtrusive? Privileged peoples problem, but it is an expensive shoe and I am reticent to keep them.... holding onto my old Clarks that are just plain brown (but too flat for comfort).

I love these shoes. They are solid, stable, and the toe box and arch feels perfect. BUT!!! The collar of the shoe hits me too close to my ankle bones on both the inside and the outside, so I have to send them back. I don't know if this would be true for al Keens....

First, I should say I have somewhat narrow feet with a high arch. The arch support in this should is A- to B+. At first impression, this shoe felt good and was a contender as light hiker. However, when I rolled my foot side-to-side to see how it would perform on uneven terrain, I noticed a major design flaw. The "rib" that goes around the med-section of the foot (over the cunieform of the foot -- the high "bridge" bone) is very stiff, and is very noticeable when the foot rolls outward. This wouldn't be very noticeable on flat terrain, but it would become gradually more painful with repeated motion over uneven or rough terrain. Also, I noticed some bumping into the bottom of my outside ankle bone, when I rolled my foot toward the inside. Those factors took this shoe out of contention for me.

What a shame! This used to be my favorite hiking, work and all-around-town shoe. Something changed in the last year, and they now run a 1/2 size small like the rest of the women's Keen line. So, if you're a size 11 like me, you're out of luck and forced to shop elsewhere. Keen, can you please quit making your shoes too small or offer a size 11.5 option? There are women out there that don't want to wear your men's shoe line, and I really loved the old Voyageur.

A super cute shoe that fits true to size, the back part that touches the ankle is too hard and there is almost no cushioning in that area. I am extremely sensitive to having the backs of any shoe rubbing against the Achilles tendon. I could not hike around my tiny living room without feeling them pressing against that area and felt they were too hard and inflexible around the entire ankle. Also it felt like these had no arch support. For the kind of thing I wanted these for, walking on nature trails, I think I could do better with a lower end sneaker with much heavier padding. Otherwise the overall style is nice, despite the little bit of sloppiness of glued edges in certain spots. They are also fairly heavy.

I usually wear New Balance shoes. Though comfortable, after a few months my big toes breaks through the shoe uppers. I thought I'd try Keens, since they have the reinforced toe which covers the front part of the uppers. I found this shoe comfortable on my feet right at first. However, after wearing them for a little while, I found them very stiff and inflexible. The sides were cut a bit too high and they rubbed against my ankles. Though comfortable in the toe box, the heels were wide and my feet slipped out of the backs. I will return them and stick with my New Balance shoes.

I wanted good supporting shoes so that I could walk without so much pain in my arthritic toes. Turns out there is no support for toes, as all my toes can move up or down with plenty of room to spare! I failed to wear shoes around at home before deciding to keep them, but after walking outside for just a block began to have much pain which progressed and lingered even after removing shoes. Also the color of the suede looks more to me like a very dark olive green rather than charcoal, though color was not my priority. All in all, I am brokenhearted that these don't work for me -- and that I cannot now return them because I wore them outside.

Nice shoes but when the lace is tightened it hurts my foot, and the back of the shoe remains loose no matter how hard I tighten the laces. I read another comment stating the same problem, I should have listened. It is rather weird for a Keen to have this type of issue. This problem usually comes with cheap shoes.

I have returned these shoes twice now because the rubber keeps detaching from the shoe. VERY disappointing as they are super comfortable shoes.

I really wanted to like these shoes, but the ankle is just a bit too high for me and rubbed against the bottom of my ankle bone while I walked. I don't know if it's something that would soften as I broke in the shoes, but I didn't want to be in the middle of an 8-hour hike and realize that it's a permanent problem. Also: the shoes run half a size small. I ordered a US 10.5, which is a 41 in Keens. Normally it's a 42 in other brands. Love the look of the shoe otherwise, and it is definitely very sturdy.

If I had certain type of foot, I am certain that I would be head over heels (lol) for Keens. The fit is great, they're stylish, and they provide great stability when running or hiking. In fact, my challenge is that they provide too much traction, and this is why, after 2 very expensive mistakes, I now know that Keens are not the brand for me. I'm one of the unlucky underpronators out there, meaning I tend to run/walk on the outer edges of my feet. It is a process of trial and error to find shoes that are comfortable for running or hiking, as what feels good for a few minutes can become unbelievably painful after about a mile. Stiff shoes with a lot of stability control are the enemies for me, and this seems to be the hallmark of Keen shoes. They are quite well-made, and if you tend towards (over)pronation or have a normal gait, you will probably love these shoes. Many of my friends swear by them. Having donated both pairs of my Keens to two happy friends, I am now wearing Mizunos for running, and still searching for a hiking shoe that provides the flexibility my foot needs.

Loved the look. Loved the sturdy tread. Too loose in the ankle area, though, the arch support did not seem as good as my other Keen shoes, and the strips of leather along the side rubbed on my bunion. I will be returning these and shopping for something else.

I really wanted to be able to get this shoe to fit me. As Keen is no longer consistent in their sizing, I ordered 8.5,9,and 9.5. All of them felt too small because Keen no longer seems to make that nice rounded toe, with lots of room for your toes. I am going to try once more with a 10, but I don't have much confidence they will work. Also the quality has fallen. I found serious flaws with several of the shoes. I wanted these to work, because I love the look and color of the shoe

The fit was clearly smaller than an 8.5 and there was little to no arch support. I had to purchase insoles with arch support in order to wear these shoes.

I had this shoe for a little more than a year. Was a good fit and comfortable to hike in. However after a little more than a year, the bottom treads are starting to break off.I've noticed other reviewers are having the same problem with this shoe. I've had hiking shoes in the past that lasted longer before the bottom started to fall apart. I like Keens as they are a good brand. But this is a newer version of this particular shoe. Unfortunately, this appears to be a defect.
