These are very supportive and breathable. No break in required. They were super comfy right out of the box. I did order a 1/2 size up from my usual Keen size.

I bought these because I need more support in my ankles when hiking these days. I am very pleased with the fit. I usually wear an 8 in Keens, but sized up to 8.5 because I'll be wearing heavier socks with them.

These are the best boots ever. They are light, supportive, help correct pronation. I love them. They are also cute. They are tall enough to accommodate my custom orthotics, which is hugely important.

I love these boots. They have saved me. I have flexible flat feet/splay feet so my foot constantly arches and then flattens out.I have had 6 different foot surgeries also. They literally put me back out on the trail again and I like them so much I have a second pair just to wear at home. I am so very thankful I discovered these life changing boots.

Took these to Yosemite about 24 hours after they arrived. 19 miles of hiking later, no blisters! Unbelievable. Great investment, carried me through rain, mud, hail and all kinds of terrain. Thanks Keen!

I had I hard time taking these off they felt so great! Keen makes a quality product. I ordered 3 different styles and sizes but found my actual size to be the best fit. I really wanted to keep all 3 for the colors and comfort. Love love the fit!

Right out of the box these boots were comfortable and provided great support. The fit was perfect! They were waterproof - as always, Keen comes through with a great product.

Love these hiking boots! Light weight, durable, sole provides a firm base that grips nicely, provides ankle support, nice and wide in the toe, side vents keep your feet cool, very well made and worth the investment.

I really like my new Keen Voyageur Mids. They fit great. Feel great right out of the box. Except for the stiff upper back. I do not know if it is the design or because I have thick ankles! But they get to hurting after a while. But other than that, I am extremely happy with these shoes.

Love these boots! They're so lightweight when I was handed the box I thought it might be empty. I found the fit to be true to size. I wear a size 8 but based on reviews I ordered the 8.5. Even with thick socks they were too big. Size 8 fits perfectly. I chose this brand for the wide toe bed and wasn't disappointed. I have plantar fasciitis and was able to get 5 hours of hiking in without any pain so the support is also good. Slight rubbing on back of ankle but that decreased on second hike. That was the only breaking in I needed. Grip was good on wet rocks and leaves on moderate hiking trail.

I have had a hard time finding a hiking boot with enough room in the toe box. I love the low-rise version of the Voyageur, so I ordered the same size in the mid. Turns out the fit is the same but the sizing is a bit smaller (even accounting for socks). I returned the 7.5 and got the 8 and I'm really happy with them. Not EXACTLY hiking boots, but close enough for what I'll need, I think. Love the Voyageur. Thanks Keen!

I love the Voyageur. I just purchased my fourth pair of them. I did try the Durand and Logan but had to return them as they do not have the toe box of the voyager. I called Keen and they said that any waterproof shoe will not have as much room because of the waterproof lining. So anyway, I'm glad they still have this style. It is great almost all winter unless really deep snow.

I have been wearing the Targhee 2 Mid as my go-to shoe for dog walking, trekking, etc. for some time. Decided to try this to prolong the life of the Targhees, which I adore. These do not disappoint. They are very much the same, with the added breathability, which makes them a great choice for warmer weather. They do fine in wet grass, too. I put a heel cup in mine, and they work great. Love Keens!

I purchased these for a week long trip of hiking. There was no breaking in necessary. I recently had ankle surgery and they worked out wonderfully! Great support for my ankles and plenty of room in the toes. I purchased my normal size 8 and had plenty of room for my insoles and thick socks.

LOVE these boots. Did not like the ankle rub, as it was intense, but a piece of moleskin helped immensely. I have major issues with my feet. Bunions, a hammer toe, and pain in the ball of my foot. I wore these shoes for over 200 miles on a portion of the Oregon PCT last summer. Not ONE single blister. Zero. Ankles were sore, but feet were fine. FINE. Better after the hike, than before. I replaced the insoles with the green superfeet. Highly recommend. This year, I thought to switch to the lower cut, in order to avoid the ankle rub. Not going to work, as they are too tight across the instep, which will eventually cause pain. I'm sticking with the tried and true, just a new color. I did go with a full size and a half larger. Worked perfectly, as your feet swell out on the trail. These were so great, we ordered a pair for one of our hiking partners, while on the side of a mountain, as her shoes were causing her massive blisters. Zappos was our HERO!! They came exactly when needed, at our next resupply stop and saved her feet! She was able to finish the hike with us! Praying that I am able to finish our remaining 200 miles this year, as I had foot surgery in December. Fingers crossed! Thank you Keen! Thank you Zappos!

I love these boots! I have a high arch and it is hard to find shoes that are comfortable and fit properly. These boots hit the mark. I wore them for 8 hours hiking and just gedding about town the 1st day and my feet feel great. I have been wearing my same Keen sandles for 12 years now, and they are still in tip top shape. Keen is a favorite maker for both style and quality and my go to shoe in any style.

Best hiking boots ever! These are the most comfortable shoes/boots I have ever owned. I tried on four pairs of Keens and these fit my foot the best. Arch is just right for me. No break in period needed. First time I wore them was on a two night camping trip with lots of hiking, no blisters or rub marks. I forgot I had them on! Very light weight! I got 1/2 size larger and they fit perfect with medium thickness socks.

These boots rock! They are comfortable right out of the box, and warm (but not too warm). They have great traction and they are cute! Zappos is awesome!

Love love love these boots! My job requires that I work outside, in factories, and in the office, and these boots are at home in each environment. They look as good under grubby jeans for the field as they do under khakis for the office. They are comfortable and sturdy/supportive for standing or hiking all day. They hold up well (I beat them up pretty good and go through a pair a year-- this is my 5th pair of Keens!). My only complaint is the laces - every pair I've had, the laces seem to come undone on them. I always have to re-tie my laces at least once a day. Otherwise, as long as they make these, I will wear them!

I love these boots. I have major problems with my feet but refuse to stop hiking, and Keen is the only brand that makes a standard boot that is wide enough for me. These are perfect -- good support, wide all the way through (no pinching across the instep), terrific for protecting my ankles, nice long laces so the boots can be tied to stay secure and not allow a lot of foot slide. I am so worried that Keen will stop making boots like this that I ordered an extra pair.

This is an excellent boot model for hiking! I hiked 1500 of the Appalachian Trail in them! I have a Wide toe box, a high instep/ arch, and a small heel. I also easily roll my ankles. It was very difficult to find a boot to accommodate that combination. I was so happy to find the Keen Voyageur! Due to my higher arch I removed the stock insole, and added a pair of green super feet inserts. I think the stock support would be just fine for someone with average arches. I was also impressed with how quickly they dry in the sun! For a full leather boot, they dry very quickly. I found a previous pair of waterproof boots to be always wet due to perspiration. The many vent holes in the Voyageur, coupled with everything I mentioned above, makes this a superb 3-season boot!

I love these boots. Didn't need any break in time. Wore them for the first time camping in Garner state park over the thanksgiving weekend. Completed a hike everyday we were there and wore them the whole time otherwise. Very comfortable and stable.

These boots are ready to go, no breaking in period. The wide, large box toe allows room for thick hiking socks. Just remember to order a half size larger if you are going to wear padded socks.
