I love the larger toe box of Keen, and these have been great so far! I did get a specialty insole, but I do that with almost all shoes, so not an issue.

I have been a loyal Keen Voyageur hiking shoe fan for years, this is my first ankle boot as I needed a bit more support on slippery uphill and downhill trails. Just as the hiking shoe, the boots are fantastic. No breaking in necessary, my short trial hike of two hours max. turned into a half day hike with no issues at all.

These are great. I’ve now put miles on them. They still look like new. I have several pairs Keens. Great shoes.

I was slipping all over the place hiking in the woods with my running shoes. The difference is amazing. Highly recommend.

The shoe is true to size. The fit is exceptional. The toe box is very roomy so there’s no pressure on the front of the foot. Nice padding around the ankle. Unlike most shoes, these really don’t need a break in period.

These keen hiking boots are so comfortable , they are perfect!!!

The fit and size are perfect. Great ankle support. There’s something about Keene’s; they never have to be broken in. You can just takeoff and do your thing right away!

I bought these for my daughter and she loves them. The soles are rigid and helps with her balance issues.

I love the voyager walking shoes so I thought I’d give these a try as my hiking boots are over 20 years old and getting too heavy . If you like the voyager these feel the same . I go slightly bigger with my walking shoes and boots. I normally wear an 8.5 keen. I bought 9s and think they’re perfect. My most recent voyager walking shoes ( I’m on my about 6th pair ….they last ! I just walk a lot ) are 8.5. Ok and I wear them but I messed up last time with the size …glad they’re almost done so I can go to my next set of 9s

Very happy with these. Good support for arch and ankle. Comfortable, no blisters. Lots of room in the toe box.

Have had these for over a year and love them! At the end of hikes I must start walking in a lazier way because I have caught the opposite foot shoe lace to the ankle hook a couple of times and tripped. Maybe I’m just clumsy but I’m planning to clamp the hook a bit tighter so that doesn’t happen when I don’t have pants covering the ankle of the shoe. Otherwise perfect shoes. No breaking in needed for me.

Bought several Keen's and several Merrill's and this pair fit the best --- plenty of arch and instep support and wide enough for toes. Wore them right out of the box for two days of hiking... worked perfectly. Two other women on the trip had the exact same ones!!

Great shoes I love them

Size and fit are always perfect on this shoe. I don't like a lot of arch support and this shoe gives just enough to provide comfort hour after hour of hiking. Best shoe on the market.

These are my second Keen boots, in this style and color, and I love the brand, and, love the expeditious service that Zappos has always provided!

Very Pleased with these hiking shoes. They fit and are comfortable out of the box. Agree with other reviewers- run a bit wide. This is not a problem if you wear socks. Highly recommend.

These shoes feel great on long hikes. My foot and ankle feel nicely supported.

No break in period! I usually wear as size 10 but ordered the 10.5 and the fit is perfect with any thickness sock. Great arch support and ankle support.

These are better than the last Keens I bought, same style, if that is possible. I wish they were a lighter color, the yare really dark brown, but the fit is excellent, especially in the toes. Well worth the money. I need that big toe box. My last Keen's lasted 7 years and they are now up ion the shoe tree.

Great boots, well made, good price. I ordered two sizes, neither of them felt right, so returned them.
