These are for really, really high arches. I have high arches but apparently not high enough for these -- maybe it's my foot shape. My podiatrist recommended them so bummed it didn't work out for me. I tried a couple sizes but I am a 7.5 on the wide side and a 36 was the right length for me.

Bought these for my husband - he needs the high arch support and these are one of the few shoes he does not need to add insert into. He uses them around the house and has sworn by this brand/style for years.

I love this Birkie. It really helps my feet, but I do wish they would make it in different colors! My life would be complete!

I have been wearing these for a couple of weeks and can say already that they are just as comfy as my usual Birks, but with the added benefit of more arch support. I need extra support because I have high arches and plantar fasciitis. I needed to add extra holes in the straps, but that is easy to do. I will use these Birks mostly as house shoes. I wish Birk would make high-arch options in other colors, styles, and textures! Beige is so...beige.

Absolutely wonderful shoes for people with high arches! After suffering a bout of plantar fasciitis, I did a lot of research and these came highly recommended. So glad I bought them because they have worked out great. Very comfortable and so much more support than most other summer sandals.

Birkenstock are back in so that's perfect because I sometimes get arch pain, especially when I exercise or am on my feet too long. These sandals have good arch suport, my only complaint is that they are a little too wide. I'm giving it 5 stars because of the support.

I am enjoying this new high-arch version of a familiar sandal. I wear orthotics but these seem okay without them - I do not plan to wear them for heavy walking but it is nice to have a cool alternative for summer and with socks for the winter. Color is great and quality as usual excellent. I gave it four stars for comfort because without socks it's tough for my problematic feet to stay put in these comfortably, as the ledge on the left side can cut into my foot. However if I keep the strap loose it seems to work okay.

I always found Birkenstock's too wide, never realizing they had narrow sizes as well. These have support for high arches, but I am thinking the normal support would be nice as well. I had to adjust the front strap to the snuggest fit and the second to the second snuggest, but now they are very comfortable. I love comfortable shoes and will wear these as often as I can, probably. They remind me of a bohemian sort of style, laid back and relaxed.

Finally an arch support that truly supports my high arch! I am on my feet a lot. No more aching feet at the end of the day! Highly recommend these shoes for anyone with extra high arches. LLS

I used to think Birkenstock looked like meat platters or feet. Well, I still do but I ADORE how these high arch, narrow size 8.5 sandals feel on my tender rib eyes. My feet have never had so much support right where it's needed. It took trial and error to determine my size but these are heaven. Wish there were other colors, I'd get several pairs. HEA-VEN! The narrows felt like normal B/M width to me. (I have sorta wide feet but can fit M usually.)

Like many others who've bought and reviewed this shoe, I have plantar fasciitis. I've also spent many years mocking the Birkenstock and it's wearers. These shoes are great. Great. I didn't even perceive a break in period, which was weird. I've given up on Birkenstock's in the past. I porked up a bit in the last few years, maybe the extra pounds molded these taupe eye sores into shape. Whatever the case-rule. My pain is greatly reduced. I may dye them black.

These are great - I didn't realize Birkenstocks came in high-arch until I stumbled onto these on Zappos. Same as regular Birkenstocks but with a higher arch, not much else to say! Size-wise I found they run a tad big (I normally wear a 10 but these felt a bit clumsy in that size).

I have had Birkenstocks for years and know my size. But, fitting these Unisex shoes was very frustrating. I had to order 3 different sizes before I got the correct fit, and it's 3 sizes smaller than my usual (I usually get size 39, the shoe that finally fit is 36). Other women may need to adjust their size with these shoes as well.

Very comfortable, excellent for people with plantar fasciitis. My only complaint is that the narrow ones are still way too wide for me! I usually take a 2 or 3 AAA...but I still wear them because my plantar fascia deserves a break!

On my second pair of Arizona High Arch shoes - now I can keep one for inside, one for outside (why would anyone wear flip-flops?). I started wearing these after I developed plantar fasciitis and they have been very helpful. I'm very active (running, swimming, weights, etc.), have extremely flat, over-pronating feet, and haven't been able to shake the PF, but these shoes have really helped - I never feel symptoms when wearing them. The narrow size fits me perfect. Only thing I wish is that they would make these in a different fabric/finish like a dark leather.

I love Birkenstocks, I tried these high arch ones, because I have plantar fasciaitis and need a high arch, the arch was super, but the raised area under the toes was way too much,they were also wider than most of the narrows I get in Birks, so sorry I have to return them and get the regular kind. I am so grateful for Zappos return policy as I have a very hard time finding narrow high arch shoes and they have been wonderful about fitting me and doing returns.

Looking for a long-lasting high-arch comfortable shoe, and this is what I found. Very pleased with it in terms of durability as well as the other criteria. Breaking it in does not take that long, but for the leather and tough personality it's worth it. Plus, a high arch helps with knee positioning and even back problems. Good to help with pains and all.

This was my first time ordering from Zappos. Customer service was great. The person I talked to was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I will definitely consider ordering from them again. The product arrived the next day as promised. They are very good quality. The shoes are comfortable however, I may need to make an extra hole in the straps as they do not fit as tightly as I would like. Overall they are great shoes and I am glad that I ordered them.

I bought these for my daughter since she has a very low arch in her foot & pronates a lot when she walks. She loves them! She can wear them all day in comfort and not have her knees hurt because they give her enough support & prevent most of the pronation when she walks. Definitely worth the money! I hope to find more styles with the high arch.

I wore these for awhile first, but I love these sandals - they are so incredibly comfortable and fit perfectly. I decided to try this high arch version, because of foot problems and they were exactly the right choice. I just wish there were more colors to choose from.

Got the narrow, 35. Fits great! SOOO nice to find size 4s in something worth wearing!! The color wasn't as light as I thought it would be (that was a good thing). I have recently been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and have just received custom orthotics. These shoes mimic the curves of the orthotics. However,just as the orthotics, I think it may take some wearing before getting used to the proper support and alignment.

I couldn't live without this sandal in summer. It is the only thing I can walk in that doesn't aggravate my accessory navicular bone. A must have for high arched person.

These shoes are what I needed for my high arches. I'm in my early 40's and I've started to have problems with plantar fasciitis and falling arches. The Arizona High Arch sandal has helped with these problems. I wish Birkenstock had the high arch in more than one style and color. I generally only wear these around the house and yard because they are very unflattering on my size 5.5 foot. Otherwise, I wear other supportive sandals like Mephisto and Chaco.

I Love Birks. I have narrow feet and high arches. Hard feet to fit. This is my first pair of high arch Birks and they are awesome! Only problem is the color isn't my favorite but the comfort makes up for it. I am so hoping they make more colors and styles with the narrow and high arch combo! As always Zappos can't be beat. They are the best.
