This is the second pair that my husband has gotten. He loves them for his high instep and wide foot. I wish they came in other color combos.

I have heel spurs and these are the only shoes that I wear. You need more color options in these shoes!

"Like buttah." I'm a diabetic with foot issues and an RN. I'm on my feet a lot in the hospital. These shoes were like wearing thick soft socks with support. Love them. Waited a few months to make sure that I still loved them -- I do. And I really appreciate the fact that if something had gone wrong with them, I could return them for free.

I have mixed sized, misshapen feet and use thick orthotics. This was the only style of shoe with enough toe space to allow my foot to fit along with the orthotic. I fit in a 4E without them, but the 6E allowed for a deeper toe box.

Very sturdy and last longer than any other shoe my son has worn. Roll bar in the shoe also helps him walk straight and not on the side of his foot.

These shoes are absolutely great! I've been purchasing New Balance shoes for about 15 years and have never been dissatisfied. As a woman who wears orthotics, I purchase a men's size 11 which allows ample room for the orthotics and my feet. These shoes provide ample cushioning and stability and are perfect from the very first step. Heavier than the previous pair of New Balance sneakers that I had, it has taken about 1.5 days to get used to the additional weight. Highly recommended!

Love this shoe. Probably the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I have lymphedema in both legs and walking is very painful. I credit New Balance with me being able to walk at all and these shoes feel like walking on pillows. Very good support also. I wear extra wide in other NB styles but wide fits perfectly in this style. Very expensive but worth every penny. Took them straight out of the box and wore them to work with not one sore spot or pinched toe. Will buy this style again when I wear these out. Five stars for comfort, but only giving 4 stars for style. They are a little strange looking. Kind of looks like you have the wrong shoe on the wrong foot, but that is really a non issue because they are so comfortable. Love NB and love Zappos!

If you're big like me and you run, let me suggest these! I've been on a yearlong search for comfortable shoes to run in and I think I've finally found what I'm looking for! So stable! I felt surer of my gate and could run faster without fear of injury. Very satisfied with this shoe! And the comfort is beyond any I've tried!

These are maybe the best shoes I have ever had. The tongue is tricky; you have to bend it out over the laces and pull so that there is room to slip in your foot. Other than that issue they are great shoes, very stable front to back and side to side. You can really use the four corners of each foot with these shoes. If you are a severe over pronator, these are worth a try.

I have a bunion next to my big toe and New Balance has put in a piece of nylon webbing (not leather) right where I need it! I have two pairs of these and will order more. They wash well!

Finally a walking sneaker I will buy again and again. Could walk forever in the shoes. Very comfortable with roomy toebox. Never thought I would spend this much, but am glad I spurged.

Updating my review from 3/2/2011. This shoe is fantastic. I have very wide, painful feet as explained. After many miles of driving to a Clarks outlet numerous times, having countless shoes shipped to the house, these are the only shoes I am able to wear. Every day! I am so grateful these things exist or I would be in dire straits here. I would have appreciated another color other than white, but these are super comfy and hard to ask for much better under the circumstances. I did add the Dr. Scholl's knee and back support insoles, under the factory NB insole. After weeks of wearing the XW Clark shoes which seem to fit perfectly, even those were too painful to wear.

Hey Zappos. You asked for my review. Well... I only wear a certain shoe since and I can only consistently get it from you, well; I do. I wear this particular shoe since my car accident which had temporarily put me temporarily in a wheel chair. In recovery, doctors tried to have me wear a pricey "inside the shoe specialized orthotic". That created more problems than help. Through the help of my sister, I found I could order specialized New Balance shoes (which worked far better than the orthotic) from you, yet could not find them locally. All is well, and life is good.

Now my second pair of 1123'S (12 6E) and THE only pair of sneakers or any other shoe that fits just right. Only wish NB would offer some color options on an otherwise really comfy shoe.

These fit great right out of the box. It was worth it to me to upgrade to this shoe. The extra cushioning and great fit have helped reduce hip and foot pain.

After 2 years of almost daily wear I can say that this shoe has been fantastic and comfortable the whole time. If I get new shoes, it will be this one again.

This shoe is wonderful! I have trouble with walking shoes wearing out and my right shoe leaning to the right. These NB's seem to be working great.

I have really enjoyed these shoes--this is my third pair. I pronate pretty heavily, but with these shoes I have had very little pain in my feet / ankles. These shoes are also durable and have lasted well.

Was comfortable upon first putting them on, no break-in period. I have many foot problems and these are the best yet. Have been using Brooks, but I think I will be switching to New Balance. Great shoe! Zappos is great. I have a hard foot to fit and have sent shoes back, no problem with any returned item or refund.

Wonderful shoes for my sore feet. They are the best shoes I have for comfort, especially standing for long periods of time. I have other high Rockport and New Balance shoes and these are by far the best. I wish they made them as a walking shoe and all leather.

Just purchased this sneaker...and it is the best fitting and most comfortable sneaker I have ever worn. I have large and wide feet and this sneaker makes me feel like I'm walking on air. It is worth spending the extra money for this sneaker.

I needed a very wide shoe due to an injury. 6E is wide. Also very hard to find. This is a good pair of shoes. A little pricey, but I'd buy again.
