These are the only NB 6E sneakers that were wide enough for my feet. Very sturdy and comfortable.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have worn in years and the price is amazing. Everyone else wants well above this price. Awesome deal.

Great service from Zappos. Have feet that are not easy to find comfortable shoes for and had to send back several pairs before finding one that worked. Zappos return service was great.

This shoe is great. But, couldn't NB give us other colors to pick from? I would like grey with navy trim. Or, grey with white trim. I need 6E width and there really isn't too much to pick from.

I got these for my husband who is thrilled with them because they're actually wide enough for him. He also has to get one shoe modified to be 1 inch higher. The shoemaker swears by New Balance for being easy to modify in this way.

Larger individuals, this shoe is for you. Don't even look at the price, just buy them. Your feet will thank you. I hesitated at first, but now, I can honestly say that I can't go to school or work happy if I don't have my good pair of shoes. They are comfy, breathable, and oh' so wide. I love them. I just ordered my second pair. Thanks Zappos.

These are very comfortable and I greatly appreciate how they are made in USA which is very hard to come by these days.

I love these sneakers. I've never spent this much on a pair of sneakers, but these are worth every penny. I needed a sneaker with a lot of support and this one delivered! I would highly recommend it to anyone!

I ordered these shoes for my husband who has a wide 4E foot. We were going on a trip to Israel where we would be doing much walking over rough terrain. The shoes were perfect for this and proved very comfortable for our long days of touring. He loved them and apprecated the good price and quick delivery from Zappos.

Best shoes I've worn in years. Excellent arch support. If you walk from balls of foot to toe, then these shoes are for you. I do use added Dr. Scholl's foot insoles along with removable insert.

I've owned two pairs of these - totally wore out the first pair and loved them so much I got a second pair. The last is perfect for a wide foot, but narrow heel. The wide sole throughout provides great stability. Removable footbed makes using an orthotic really easy. I suffered from knee and ankle pain, in addition to persistent turf toe until I found these - they've made a huge difference in removing the pain and curing the turf toe. Highly recommend!

I wear these shoes for exercise walks and any time I'll be on my feet for a long time. Very comfortable, I have a high arch, with good support. I'm on my 3rd pair.

Follow up to my first post on these; I ended up with the NB 883\'s instead. These are just to heavy and inflexible, and my orthotics already correct my pronation, so the neutral 883\'s are a perfect compromise. If you need this SL2 last because you have "Flintstone" feet, try the 883\'s if you don\'t need the extra pronation control.

I was looking for a good shoe to walk in (I'm not a runner). I have a very wide foot (6E) and, consequently, very difficult to fit, let alone find comfort. This shoe filled that void and covered all the bases for me. Thank you, New Balance. Now all I need is a normal, stylish looking casual, comfortable shoe. New Balance used to have several, but no longer!

I'm a guy with lifelong flat feet, diganosed with a leg length discrepancy about 10 years ago, wearing rigid orthodics with a flexible neoprene topsole that provides a full length insert replacement. I wear them in all shoes. It's always hard to find good shoes that fit my foot shape, and the 1123 does that, all right. The problem is that motion control shoes have, in my experience, caused me lots of pain in the achilles and hamstring (The BEAST, particularly). I've done an hour on the treadmill on these, and can feel some discomfort in the hamstring. Some people cannot wear orthodics with this type of shoe, and some can. The shoe is super comfortable. I do hope it will work out!

Wow! I love Zappos. I can buy this shoe from others but the service and speed of delivery can't be beat! They were delivered to my house 15 hours after I ordered them, and I didn't even pay extra. I've shopped with this company now for three years and they value that, and I do too. I even got upgraded to VIP.

These are great for a person who truly has wide feet. I had been having a lot of trouble finding a running shoe that was wide enough and also gave some motion control. I got the 6E and they were exactly what I needed. (I'm a woman who has to get man's running shoes to get a pair wide enough. It's very sad I know). They're not the most fashionable shoes, but that's a minor concern for me since they make the difference between being able to run and not being able to run.

I have a pronounced stupination problem with my right ankle. Have been using NB cross trainers but the NB staff recommended this shoe for its anti-roll posting and it delivers. Further benefit comes from the better shock absorption in the running portion of my workouts. The toe box is large and made me wonder if I could do with a half size smaller, but only because the shoe looks a little long, a styling issue. And the shoe isn't cheap. I guess you get what you pay for.

I love these shoes! Actually I already have two pairs of them, but was very happy to see them on Zappos. I am on my feet walking all day long in a volunteer job capacity at a thrift shop and my feet are not happy about that unless I am wearing these shoes. I had my knees replaced so I am very concerned about falling. These shoes are very stable from side to side so I don't worry about rolling an ankle. The cushion is just right and the shoes are so comfortable that I can wear them all day and not bother to take them off at home. I have some neuropathy so I bought the men's model; it seems to have a roomier toe box. I hope they never stop making them! Best of all was the Zappos service. I ordered them and they came, just like that! And my email was signed "with love"! You gotta love a company like that!

I have used several pairs of shoes from Zappos and liked them all. Very fast shipping and no hassles at all. This is a super good store. Try 'em, you'll like 'em. I sure do!

I stopped running 5 years ago after developing severe iliotibial band syndrome due to my over-pronating gait. But, I'm now running again in the New Balance MR1123 without any pain. This shoe really stabilizes foot motion. In combination with an it band strap and strengthening exercises, I strongly recommend this New Balance running shoe.

These shoes are wonderful. I have bought three pairs of 1123's after having bought three pairs of the predecessor model, the 1122, and I will buy more. I learned about them from my physical therapist after knee surgery, tried them, and found that they provided all the support and stability I needed but had never experienced in an athletic shoe before.

My new 1123 is a return to New Balance, which I used for years (1122 was my last version). Switched to Brooks, but they seemed to get tighter and tighter. I'm delighted with the 1123. Just took it on a two week trip to Minnesota and New York, with much walking, and with the exception of Easter Sunday, they were my only shoes. I know the experts say we should alternate shoes, but this one is so comfortable that I use it every day, except when I have to dressy. I'm back with New Balance for good!

Been buying these New Balance running shoes for a long, long time. They used to be the 1121s, then they were the 1123s, now they're the 1123s. The SL-2 last is awesome for people with wide feet - lots of toe box room and depth for the top of your feet. They're very stable when jogging, and last longer than some other shoes. You should get about 500 miles out of them in normal use, plus another half year of weekend wear. Try them if you have wide feet!
