Great sandal - This is the coolest shoe ever. A bit strange at first because it feels like you are standing on your arch. Has great support. Love the rocker feel when you walk.

MBT Sandal - Very comfortable - the velcro straps allow for a personalized fit.

Ugly, expensive shoes! Very, very comfortable. I had worn the high MBT’s all winter and wanted a sandal for summer. I really like them, but you would think for the price that they could make them cuter! Weird sizing. I didn't even know that they made a 38 1/3.

Finally! Sandals without orthotics or foot pain - I recently purchased the MBT sandal after I bought the MBT walking shoe. For years I have looked for a casual sandal that I could wear that would either accommodate my orthotic OR not make my feet hurt because of Plantar Fasciitis and while I have had surgery on one foot, I still require the use of orthotics. The sandals did require a bit of getting used to and I noticed a definite improvement in my posture and stride. I highly recommend them. The sandals, unlike the walkers seemed true to size, the arch support was good and I have worn them with jeans and with slacks to work. Zappos is great to work with and their customer service is second to none!

Best walking shoes ever - I bought a pair of MBT sandals two weeks before going to London and I have to say, they saved my trip. I flinched at the price, to be honest, and almost didn't buy them. But after having them on for 15 minutes, walking around in the house, I could feel a difference immediately. Here's the deal - I'm over 50, overweight, not used to walking - and for the last week in London, I walked 6-8 hours a day, miles at a time, up and down twisty staircases in the Tower - and more. I half jogged through the airport getting off the plane back home again. NO sore feet; NO blisters. Yes to a bouncy, easy walk. They are not the cutest shoes, but they definitely are the best. Buy a pair - now - your feet will thank you.

Love this shoe - I have several pairs of Birkenstocks and swore I could never like any sandal more but I think I have a new favorite. They took a little getting use to but other than that have been wonderful. A word of caution on sizing, all my Birk's are 38 but I needed a 40 in these. (I usually wear an 8.5 in running shoes.) I still love my Birk's but these are great for something different.

Great shoe - After having bought the tennis shoe - I knew I had to have a pair of the sandals!!!! My heel spur is not hurting which is helping my hip on the opposite side to quit hurting. I have recommended to my chiro that he start prescribing these shoes to all his patients!!! - They're GREAT

Great shoe for troubled feet! My podiatrist recommended this brand and I was reluctant to get an orthopedic shoe. This sandal is good looking and comfortable all day on hard concrete PLUS I stand straighter and feel less tired after wearing these. The best!

They make walking fun! These shoes seem to propel you onward. I've only been wearing them about two weeks, but haven't missed a day of walking since putting them on. I like the way they shift the weight from my forefoot more to the middle of my foot. Garden party shoes these are not, but even with their chunkiness, they are rather cute. Also, I like being an inch taller.

Love them. These are my third pair of MBT shoes. I wanted a pair for summer. So, I bought these to wear with skirts, they are not the cutest shoes I have worn, but they feel great.

Love my MBT's! I have had my MBT's for over a year now. I live in them. I wear socks in the winter and adjust the velcro. I have back, knee, and foot problems. Since I have had these, the pain has been reduced and at times none at all! Never thought that was possible. Highly recommend these for everyday. You won't regret it a bit.

Great for FUSED TOE - I have had 2 foot surgeries on the same foot. The last surgery resulted in a fused big toe, which meant that I couldn't bend my big toe. This made walking extremely difficut and since I walked 3+ miles per day - THAT was a problem. I thought my walking and exercise days were over. Thanks to MBT and the fact that they roll - but don't bend at the front of the shoe - I can walk all day long without a problem. The biggest issue I encounter is that the fabric of the shoe insole makes my tender feet hurt and I have to wear socks. The black fabric is hot in Florida weather. I can't wait until they make this black shoe with suede in the insole like the brown ones! I gave the overall comfort a 4 because of the insole. The outside of the shoes are rather cheap looking and could be trimmed with leather - for the price! I will continue to buy them because I can walk all day long without foot pain! Hurrah for MBT!

I love these sandals. I have narrow feet. I am an active 60 years young woman. I walk 3 miles 4x/wk. The last couple of years I have had some challenges with my left foot. I have been wearing "fashion" sandals/shoes daily and cross trainers for walking. I have had these sandals 2 weeks. Already I'm looking at the closed shoes for when our weather gets cool in the fall. These were a good first pair for me because I can adjust them in 3 places. I also appreciated the return policy, which was the final part in the decision to order. My husband has noticed that there are no complaints on my part re my feet -- and probably the best part, I have no desire to seek out yet another comfortable shoe. I have found it.

Very Comfy!! I learned about MBT after working 16 hours on a movie set, standing most of the time. I saw someone with the MBT tennis shoe and asked what type of shoes they where. I thought they looked cute on her and I could tell they were comfy. I decided to order the sandal living in SC (very hot). I received the Kisumu today and I really like the look. They are soooooo very comfy as well. I have a narrow foot and the straps fit perfect, they are also true to size. I plan on getting a pair of MBT sport shoes too. Wonderful shoe for plantar fasciitis - I've been suffering from plantar fasciitis in my right foot for over six months and this is the only shoe I can wear without pain and I can actually walk without limping. I was concerned about the appearance but that quickly goes away when you realize how comfortable they are. I love all the adjustable straps. Another feature of this shoe is how it really works the muscles all the up the back of your legs. I was skeptical but it really does seem to be toning my legs. They're great shoes!

Well worth the money! I need sandals I can wear to walk for 8 or more hours at a stretch. I need them for urban as well as rural environments. I have tried many brands and decided to spend the money on these sandals after my friend who is a nurse (and on her feet for 12 hour stretches) swore by them- she was right. Great comfort, your feet do not get tired and your back/knees will love them as well.

MBT - I am pleased with my MBT's. I wore them too long the first days and was certainly aware of the affect they were having on my stature. Soreness in my behind and thighs. I am anxious to be able to wear them long term. It hurts that they are so expensive; however, I am sure I will find them worth it.

Best Shoe on the planet! The MBT Kisumu is by far the most comfortable shoe on this earth! Before MBT, standing and walking plain out hurt. Now, my pain is relieved, posture better and walking is a pleasure.

Heavenly Shoes - I bought these shoes in Honolulu in Brown (I wanted black) but I had heel pain. They were comfortable from the beginning. I did take it slow and now wear them all day. I turned my brown into house shoes and bought these for outside. These are a newer version and have an elastic sleeve around the toe. I have a wide foot but they seem to give. For a really wide foot I would stick with the brown. I love these shoes and being overweight these have changed my life. I walk straighter and without so much pain. I ordered them on a Friday night and received them Monday morning. Zappos you are amazing as I live in Hawaii. Mahalo nui loa!

Kisumu is a lifesaver for me and my severe low back problems - I have worn Birkenstock, Earth Shoe and thought they gave me some relief from severe back problems, but since wearing the Kisumu by MBT I have seen a significant change in my ability to walk and stand for longer periods of time and a lessening of my chronic back pain. I'd highly recommend them!

The ONE and ONLY from someone who - Believe it or not, I have put 2,100 miles on these sandals, and they still look new!!! I cannot now imagine walking without them. Over a year ago I developed quite suddenly major heel pain and went to various doctors - they tried orthopedics, various heel inserts - Nothing helped, only made things worse (and what a rip off those things were). Well I heard about the MBT's and knew I HAD to try them. Thank goodness, as IMMEDIATELY the pain went away and now I walk 4.7 miles daily, 7 times a week in these. No more heel pain (plantar fasciitis)... These are so unique and One of a Kind. Sure, at first you think people are looking at you like you are wearing those kinds of shoes for disabled individuals (a shorter leg or something) but when you realize that 'those in the know' are wearing them too (from famous actors, supermodels, well known doctors, masseuse's etc.) You realize you know now what they all know -- That MBT's WORK and are unlike ANYTHING else on the market. My foot is narrow too, and the strap extends far off the edge (it would have been nice if the strap was a little shorter with more velcro for narrower feet) but this is life. It still secures fine. I only open the buckle on/off to put them on now (once you get them adjusted to your foot after a few trial runs you shouldn't have to fanagle with all the closures). Remember when you wear these to keep your heel as far back in the shoe as possible - push it way to the edge. You immediately feel a difference in your posture with these. Muscles you never knew you had now are being used. People with foot problems, back problems, knee problems - do not have to worry anymore. This is the answer. I am purchasing another pair today (the M.Walk in green) as well, I think I deserve another after logging in over two thousand miles...but will keep on using these sandals till the sole is gone!!! MBT'S RULE!! Spread the news! *I normally take a 7.5 women's (but in these I took a 37 and they fit perfect).

I REALLY have to wear this shoe - I have dreadful back problems and am on my feet all day. These shoes REALLY make it possible. They take a little getting used to wearing. They also are great for exercising your calves and improving posture. These shoes are very therapeutic. I also am frequently asked about where I got the shoes because they are attractive as well.

Great shoes. I love these shoes. I was very skeptical at first but after wearing them while walking, I'm a huge fan. Although their appearance is lacking, the benefits you get from wearing them make up for it. This is my 3rd pair...not because they wear but because I want a variety of styles.

What a difference - Purchased for my spouse who has endured (suffered) lower back pain for some time. Was skeptical about purchasing MBT's because of price and a review suggesting Earth shoe provides same benefit. We both purchased a pair of Earth shoes and the MBT shoe for my spouse. We both find Earth shoes "very comfortable" and they do result in a much better gait. My better half finds the MBT shoe to not only direct a better gait, but has all but eliminated the lower back pain. BTW: The web page pictures of the MBT shoe does not do it justice. It’s actually an attractive shoe.
