I absolutely love these boots. I needed to get wide but these are so comfy and the style is timeless. I have bunions and metatarsal problems and don't typically find shoes so comfy. One small thing- I would have rated them 5 stars if the soles had more grip. I was walking on a slushy brick sidewalk after a storm in Boston and I was slipping. I will buy some sole grippers. I waterproofed them (even though they say they are waterproof) and they wipe clean of salt very easily. I have a feeling these will be well worth the money.

These boots are beautiful and dressy right out of the box. They fit my petite calf well, but run big in the foot; however I think a small size would scrunch my foot because the toe box is narrow. Ultimately, sadly, I did return these and chose to keep the more comfortable pair of black dressy Ugg boots that costs about the same.

I have wide toes and extremely narrow arches, heels, and ankles, and boots that are long enough in the toe but don't flop around on the heel are nearly impossible to find. This boot in a 7N is the first shoe I've worn in decades that fits perfectly. The square toe is not my style, but it prevents the boots from compressing your toes and makes them feel much longer/wider than they are. (I originally ordered these in a 7M, which I've worn comfortably in other styles from La Canadienne, but they were comically loose on my foot.) The ankle is snug: if you have ankles that aren't tiny, you'll probably have trouble fitting anything bulkier than leggings inside these. The heel is perfect -- tall enough to be just a little bit elegant, while still low and broad enough to be comfortable during a long walk with minimal risk of ankle twisting.

I really wanted to love these shoes because they are so comfortable and warm, but they weren't flattering enough. I have short legs so I really need a heel higher than 2 inches and I wasn't loving the boxy style of the toe bed. It fits great around the calf and is definitely true to size, but for that kind of money I need to love it. I wish they made a higher heel in the double wides. Maybe next year!

Wonderful quality, very stylish, great boot. I measured my calf before ordering but unfortunately my 14" calf is too big for these beautiful boots. Also, they feel slightly narrow, and I have never had this problem.

I tried both the Jenny and the Ramona. I found the Jenny fit my calf perfectly (13.5" calf), but the ankle was so narrow it was making my foot tingle. The Ramona ended up being a much better fit. Jenny looks like a well-made, stylish boot, but just didn't fit me right.

I really wanted to love these boots. I loved the lining, I thought they have a great simple style, and the fact that people cited them as waterproof (or at least water-resistant) was exciting. However, they just didn't fit my muscular calves. I could zip them up, but they were so tight they were uncomfortable, and forget tucking the skinny jeans into them. So, unfortunately, I had to return them.

fit my narrow foot really well. fairly plain from a style point of view but lovely leather and very comfortable so i'm getting a lot of wear out of them. as others have said, it's too bad there isn't more arch support but it doesn't really matter because the rest of the boot fits so well. I took one star away due to the lack of stylish details and arch support but i highly recommend the shoe. i will definitely buy another pair from this manufacturer.

I'm very happy with the quality and style of these boots. I looked for something with a sturdy stacked heel for a loooong time before finding these. My only complaint is that the shaft is very snug. Hoping they will stretch over time.

Everything about these boots is great except the toe is super squared off, even just slightly rounded it would be perfect. Hope they consider that for the next version.

Great boots - I love the look of them! Only complaint is that they are tight on my calves (had no idea my calves might be larger then normal :o)

I really like these boots (I have a 15 inch calf and a 9 inch ankle) except in the ankle - they are too big there!

Beautiful boots but they are digging into my ankles. I ordered the B width and I'll try the D. I already own the Shane suede and they are super comfortable but so far I am striking out with leather because they are stiffer. Hope the D width solves the problem!

Not able to give a fair review because I could not zip these over my calves. They are gorgeous, though, and the style is classic. Footbed is very comfortable. Would have loved to keep them. Was surprised that a $400 pair of boots wasn't packed with more material, though. None of the usual stuffing and wrapping you'd expect.

Beautiful comfortable boots. Great style but must be careful with the "width." I'm pretty narrow (normal) foot with and they felt tight. I had to order same size (8.5) but W(D) instead of M(B). Other than that pretty boots.

A bit disappointed in this boot for the price. The shaft was much lower than I had hoped for and even though I ordered black, when my boots arrived they looked dark brown in the light.

These boots looked nice but the leather looked cheap. The calves were tight and therefore, uncomfortable.

Good quality leather; stiffer than would be comfortable. Where it bends it cuts into my ankle. I'm returning them.

I have to say I was very disappointed in these boots. After reading so many glowing reviews, I was super excited to get them. For the money, the suede seems very low quality to me. I understand that they are waterproof, but have worn Aquatalia for years and they are so much nicer! A few dollars more, but definitely worth it!

I'm actually very disappointed with these boots, and I've been very happy with La Canadienne in the past having purchased three other pair. But these feel very cheap. Indeed, I've worn them only once, and there's already a "dented hole" in the suede. And it's not like I was climbing a mountain: I was at a dinner party. Actually wouldn't recommend these to anyone, really. I'm disappointed that I'm stuck with them. And the squared toe on a suede boot? Oh, no, no, no.

Hate this boot! No style, totally boring and the square toe just downright ugly. Sent them back the same day I got them. Only ordered it because I have wear a lower heel since having surgery but not willing to go this far out of fashion. Ordered a boot from Soft Spots line and my husband thinks it's super hot even with a lower heel. Thanks Zappos for at least having more than this boot to choose from in a lower heel.
