I wanted to love these, but the shaft is one inch too short. nice and snug around the ankles but sloppy looking at the top. Love the 2" heels and the footbed is quite comfortable. But the square toe box is less than elegant. They seem to be a practical boot but I'm returning them because I crave a pair that is a bit more stylish. Almost.

This shoe is wonderful! I just can't say enough good things about it. It is comfortable, warm, and very cute too. Originally I bought the shoe for my daughter and borrowed them once to walk out to the mailbox, well...that was all she wrote. I now own the shoes and need to order a pair for her. :)

Very nice looking boot. Pricey-- but very comfortable.

Feel great, look nice, but - Just got them today. Can't believe they came so fast! I ordered them late last night! They are really nice boots, and they felt great on, but the black color was really matte. I liked that they are waterproof even though it's not a feature I was shopping for. As for looks, the style is nice, but I was hoping for them to be a little shinier. At this price, they have to be perfect, so I have to return them. Overall though, I thought they were a great boot, and this brand really seems to be worth the money.

Nice and good fitting boot - This boot is very comfortable and very well made. I have wide feet and often have trouble finding a wide enough boot. This boot was wide enough for my foot without having a really wide calf. I wish the toe was a little less square, but other than that, I love the boot.

I wore these Canadian-made boots right out the box, and am pleased so far. The square box on the toe is very comfortable, the heel feels solid, and the leather is soft, but not slouchy, so they seem to hold their shape. I have moderately muscular calves, and was concerned they might be tight over pants, but they are fine. I am thinking about getting another pair from the same company, maybe a ankle height variety.

I cannot believe I spent so much money on a pair of boots but I have been looking forever for boots that I can order in wide foot width (I am a EE... sigh ... ) but normal calf width. In these boots I have found the perfect balance. Plus they are beautifully made and the leather is super soft. I wish the zipper tab was bigger, just for ease since I am afraid of breaking it when i pull the zipper closed. But overall, I feel like I finally have a pair of boots to pair with work dresses and skirts.

These are amazing boots! I have a narrow foot and a very narrow heel, and it's just about impossible to find shoes, let alone boots, that fit me. I've actually been looking for about 10 years now. These fit perfectly right out of the box, without needing to alter them in any way. I also have narrow calves, and normally the calf space in boots that I try on is so spacious that I could hide a sandwich in there. No so with these boots. They fit perfectly around my calves without looking like swashbuckler boots. I've been wearing them for several days now, sometimes all day, and they are amazing and comfortable. A very good investment for a hard-to-fit foot. Now, if they only came in brown...

This boot is very nice and worth the price. I have these from last year in a narrow size and they are quite comfortable. They are good quality suede that does well even in heavy rain. I also like that the heal is not too high but there's just enough to look more dressy. Oh La Canadienne can you please make the Jenny in a medium or dark brown color. Don't forget the narrow sizes.

I looked for the right boots for 3 years and then found these. They look great and are, most of all, extremely comfortable! I have size 11 feet with small calves and fit perfectly. I recommend these highly.

I absolutely love these boots! I rarely take the time to submit product reviews, but I am so pleased with the quality, comfort, and fit of these boots that I felt compelled to share my experience. I have very narrow, low-volume feet that are difficult to fit, especially where boots are concerned. For that reason, my last boot purchase was in 2008. The best part: these boots are so comfortable I could walk in them all day with no discomfort, and that's with an arthritic big toe. The leather is beautiful, too.

Because I suffer with bunions, I have trouble finding comfortable shoes. These boots are wonderful! When I first got them, I wore them for virtually three days on a trip. They were so comfortable and continue to be. I am looking forward to purchasing my second pair of La Canadienne's.

These boots are beautiful but unfortunately I have to return them because the calf portion is to narrow for my leg. The shoe portion however is super comfortable.

I love these boots. They are very stylish. Unfortunately, even the little heel puts too much weight on the balls of my feet and they are going back. I am keeping Blanche instead. Both boots come in WW. Thanks, Zappos, for carrying extra wide widths.

These boots are awesome. I have extremely hard feet to fit and after a few surgeries they are a bit touchy. The toe box is roomy and the calf is not too wide. All leather with just a small expansion seam. I think the leather is going to break in beautifully. I love them!

Such a beautiful stylish boot. It is so warm and comfortable to wear. Great for wide width feet. Need more boots like this.

I am just now writing my first Zappos review after these many years. I bought these boots in 2008. They are super comfortable. They are able to handle the sleet and rain and salted sidewalks of the St. Louis winters, and airport travel, and you name it, they have got it. They have good solid soles. They still look fantastic - I have only polished them twice and my gosh, I cannot believe they are seven years old (I had to look it up)! I have skinny calves, and I do not like my leg swimming in a boot, so these work very well for me. I have become quite on accident a La Canadienne fanatic, and have pair of Juliettes and a pair of something else much flatter, all three holding up well! Stuart Weitzman boots have ended up smooshing my toes, so I am back looking for now to get a slightly higher, dressier heel and add to my collection. I thought that I would give my old pair a shout out while I was shopping on VIP Zappos - the best!

These are the boots I've been looking for! I wear a 10 or a 10.5 depending on the brand and shape of the sole. Because of the square toe, the 10 was perfect, with plenty of room for all my toes… no squeezing! The heel gives a nice boost in height and is very stable and comfortable for walking. The quality is excellent, as with all La Canadienne shoes and boots. I'm 5'11" so the boot hits me about 2.5 inches below the knee, but shorter boots are á la mode again.

I read the reviews before purchasing these boots. I was doubtful that one boot could get rave reviews from so many women with very different fit needs. Well, its all true! These boots are classically stylish, butter soft and comfortable as can be! I have a narrow foot and heel, but need a bit extra toe box room to accommodate bunions. These boots make it work - and they are waterproof also! I don't think you can go wrong!

Love theses boots but only order if you have a slim calf. Wish they were 1/2 inch wider! Leather is really high quality. So sad they don't make these with a wider circumference.

I love these boots. I've wanted a pair of La Canadienne boots for years, but the price kept me away. Now I wish I would have taken the plunge. These are so comfortable and beautiful all at the same time. I've since purchased the Blanche, which are more comfortable than anything I ever could have imagined, and the Passion, for which I am awaiting delivery.

These boots are a great find for woman with wide feet who wants a stylish look. The 9W fit my 9C/D feet perfectly. The square toe style and silhouette are very pretty. I can walk all day in these. The leather is beautiful and workmanship seems excellent. Though they are waterproof and designed for functionality in northern snowy climates, they are non-bulky and completely suitable for fashion wear in mild winter areas as well (I live in North Carolina and Georgia). Shoes that fit my wide feet and actually look pretty are hard to come by, and I was thrilled to find these. Highly recommended.

I love these boots! I have wide 'problem' feet, and shoes are becoming harder and harder to find. I ordered an 8W, and had no break in period at all! I am a flight attendant, and I wear these at work ALL DAY. They are cute and stylish. Just enough heel to be dressy for work, but casual enough to put with jeans and be comfy. I also love the fact that they're warm and waterproof! Fleece lining, so when you're trampling through snow, you will stay nice and dry! I wish I had these when I lived in Michigan! Very happy with my purchase. Expensive, but worth it!!!:)
