I ordered the 10N and love them. I have rather thin calves and these fit great - not a huge gap like most brands. They do bunch a little at the ankles though. I've worn them all day at work and they are very comfortable. They could use a little more cushion on the bottom, but overall, they are worth every penny. I was hesitant to spend that much but after returning 7 pairs (thanks Zappos) I decided to splurge and I'm glad I did. (I gave 4 stars for styling because they are just a classic style that some may see as boring).

Finally! After 7 tries on cheaper boots I tried this one. And yes, they are worth the money. I wore them to work and did more walking than normal and they were fine. I ordered a 10N and the fit was good. I especially liked the smaller leg opening for my skinny legs. If I had a complaint it would be that my size 10 foot did look rather large in this boot.

This boot is beautiful and looks great on my semi-thin calves. I can\\\'t wait to wear it on the the next chilly, rainy NYC day. I tried it on with both a dress and with pants and they looked fab with both.

Great everyday boot - I really like this boot. It's comfortable and has a very simple, clean look which goes with everything. I wear them with both skirts and trousers. Not a very dressy boot--you'll need something else for evenings out, but great for an everyday boot. My only complaint is that the zipper is noisy! Every step I take with these in a skirt, I can hear the clink clink of the zipper. It's a little bit annoying, but not annoying enough to send them back!

Great boot at a great price - I love you Zappos. I can't believe how fast these came! And WOW...to find a La Canadienne boot for less than 200! This is a really well made boot with gorgeous leather. NOT made in China. Yep, actually made in Canada, folks! Has that good, leather smell. Perfect shaft height that looks good with dresses and doesn't make your legs look stumpy. Perfect heel height. Fit my calves perfectly (but I'm kind of an average yoga-toned calf kind of a girl.) Zappos didn't have my size, so I went up a 1/2 size, and it was too big. So this is indeed true to size. Toe box is definitely square. Perfect boot. I'm just waiting for my size to come in!

Classic comfort - Classic, elegant, little heel, comfortable and snug fitting on the leg. Zappos service is excellent - from sending the order promptly, providing the means to return it, keeping me notified as to the credit to my account - all was superlative. It is refreshing that someone, some company, still takes pride in offering seamless service.

La Canadienne Jenny Boots - This is a very nice pair of boots. The leather is supple and the look is stylish less the flashiness. They could use more arch support but overall they are a comfortable fit.

Great Basic Boot! I needed a good, stylish and comfortable black boot to wear with skirts, and this one definitely fit the bill! Very cute, and most importantly with my back troubles, very comfortable!

Love these! These boots are perfect for someone who doesn't wear heels. Very stylish without being uncomfortable. I might add a thin insole to give them a little more cushion for walking, but overall they're perfect.

Best Boot Ever - I've always been hard to fit since I have such a wide foot, but this boot fits like a glove. No break in period at all. Highly recommended.

Great boot - Very nice boot, good leather, great Canadian craftsmanship, comfortable, correctly sized, fit my wide calves, looks great with pants and skirts - somewhat dressy. Probably not a great hiking boot, but is very comfortable to walk in. Shipped really fast! I appreciate that. I will be looking for some more La Canadiennes boots in the fall that are flats or nearly flats and more of a walking boot.

YUM! These are beautiful and comfortable boots! I was looking for something simple and well-made and these fit the bill. The leather is supple and buttery. The arch support is not excellent-but I can add an insert for that. Also the calf area is snug on me and I would say I have average sized calves. Great boots, worth every penny!

I love this boot - This is a great boot--very comfortable and stylish. The heel height is perfect for skirts or pants. It's also a good quality leather and I love the fact that they are waterproof. I highly recommend these, even though they are pricey.

Excellent purchase - The boots are everything they are described to be! Though slightly expensive, they are worth every dollar. I have wide feet and they are comfortable and look great. A very standard basic knee length boot.

Excellent boots - These boots are amazingly comfortable in the foot and toe area, and they look terrific. My only complaint is that they're a little tight around the calves. But I'm keeping them!

Great boots! These are everything you would expect them to be. They fit perfectly, felt true to size and are comfortable from day 1 with no break in period. Definitely worth the money. Very nice looking in a clean and simple way. They will go with everything, and no buckles or stuff to get caught on inseams.

Brown and Black Boots - The boots are very comfortable. The boots are true to size. The boots are very attractive.

Very good basic black boot. I do love this brand for their weatherproofing, they truly are waterproof, warm and comfortable. This style is great for pants, but I think a little clunky for skirts.

I absolutely love the features of these boots, but they sagged on my ankles and the arch was ever so slightly off. I am sorry to have to return them.

I was seeking a pair of well made leather boots with lowish heels and minimal decoration, and that's what I got. Also they're available in E width, which is necessary for my wide toe. The boots fit well but are surprisingly snug in the ankle and calf, considering that I have reasonably slender legs. My ideal boot would have a rounder toe, but these are okay. Great for cold weather.
