I was looking for replacement shoes for Zumba. I attend class in a gym with a wood floor. These are too sticky, even with the pivot point. Cute shoes. Sent them back.

I just bought a pair Ryka Studio D shoes for Zumba. I bought a half size larger than I would normally wear. They are so light and just wonderful. I have recommended Ryka Studio D to others in my Zumba class. I am sure these will be replaced with another pair next time I shop for Zumba shoes.

I had high hopes for this shoe but was completely let down. It was so tight, stiff and bulky that I had to switch shoes mid class because I felt like I was going to fall in them... my toes even went numb. Not a shoe that I want to be teaching Zumba in! Returning them for some Nikes. Zappos has amazing customer service and will be shipping my new order today (that's a plus for me!).

I thought they were really cute, after 2 months they stretched out a little and that's when I noticed my feet were hurting, the arch support was gone. I continued to use them for another month but ended up putting them aside, when my feet stopped hurting I used them one more time and ended up at the mall buying a different brand and through these pair in the trash.

These are cute looking, but right off the bat I knew they weren't going to work for me. There is very little lateral support and they made me walk pigeon-toed (a propensity of mine). Support seemed moderate, not very cushioned.

I am a Zumba instructor and needed new shoes desperately. I found these, loved the way they looked, but the reviews seemed half and half. Many good, many bad, and I decided to try them anyway. They are not that comfortable, it took about three months before they felt that they had been "worn in" and were slightly comfortable, and now that they are...I have had to sew the lace loops back onto the shoe, and the inside is ripping apart at the seems. The ball of my foot slides because the material has ripped inside and no longer holds my foot in place. I have only had them for about 5 months! I loved the way these shoes looked, so it makes me so sad that I have to now order new shoes again. I won't reorder these.

I felt the shoe needed more overall support. I’m actually kind of disappointed in the shoe. Not as comfortable to dance in as I thought. If I could have tried them in class to see how comfortable/support they would have given I would have returned them instead of keep using them. They do not provide comfort or support as I expected them to do. Very disappointed in the shoe.

I bought a size up as everyone else had said, but apparently that wasn't enough. If you have wider feet, they are not for you.

I was really excited to receive this shoe, but it must be returned. The toe box is too narrow for a wider foot, although the wide width is too large.

I really wanted to like these but for me, the fit was off. No matter how snugly I laced them, my heel kept slipping out. Also, the tongue was rather stiff and because I had to lace them tightly, it pressed into the base of my leg and was very uncomfortable.

Bought for Zumba. Ordered 12 and 11, usually an 11-11.5. 12 length is okay, but heels keep slipping out. Does not have enough arch support to wear. Wide toebox. They are big, blocky, and feel plasticy.

I bought these shoes for a Zumba class; but they were uncomfortable from the moment I tried them on. They were very tight around the ankle, dug into the back of my heel, pressed down on the top of my foot, and didn't provide a lot of arch support. I ended up returning them.

I have been looking for a shoe for the gym classes I take (e.g Zumba, body pump, etc). The Ryka Studio D shoes seemed to be what I was looking for. However, I have to say I am extremely disappointed in my purchase. I have a slightly wide foot and the shoes are just too narrow for my foot. The support is great, the heel area is snug and the shoe was everything I was looking for except the width in the front. My toes were falling asleep and the sides of feet were getting uncomfortably rubbed. I would recommend these shoes for those with feet with an average to narrow width. It's too bad these didn't work out for me.

I was disappointed in this shoe; it is not comfortable and slips and slides on the wooden dance floor. Maybe it is a new version of this style, because others in my Jazzercise class have these and like them very much.

Ryka used to make shoes that were wide in the toe and narrow in the heel, specifically to fit women. The Studio D is as narrow in the toe as a dress shoe! That is not the feeling I want for my workout, and so I have returned the shoes. However, if you have narrow feet, they will look sharp and you might just like them.

I got these shoes for Jazzercise. I have never tried Ryka brand before, and I had an instructor recommend them. Overall, I was very disappointed with this shoe. I did the recommended "one half size larger" and they were way too big at the top. The heel was narrow, and it would make my socks bunch up. I decided to try another size smaller because the toe, and I came to the conclusion that the toe box is too big for my feet. I would not consider myself to have narrow feet, but I had so much room in the toes that it made me feel like I had clown feet. When I would point my toe the shoe would fold over because I had so much room. I don't know if I will try another style Ryka. I wish I liked them, but they did not work for me.

I liked the look of the shoes and how they were lightweight. Unfortunately though they don\'t fit well and have caused cuts on the sides of my feet. I wouldn\'t order again and would have returned if I hadn\'t already worn these.

First of all Zappos is an excellent site. You should feel great in your choice for using Zappos for your needs. Now about the shoe, which is very highly recommended (albeit not endorsed) by Jazzercise. If you have a wide foot just do not get this shoe, even if people tell you to give it time as it will stretch out. It does run small and there is simply not room to even stretch out for a wide foot. It is a great shoe, very well crafted, and supported, lightweight and perfact for Jazzercise - just not for a wide foot person.

I read through all the reviews before buying these shoes for Jazzercise. I didn't think they were comfortable, but kept wearing them thinking that they need some "breaking" in. Well, as the break in happens the shoe starts coming apart. The stitching came loose on the outside. Once again I can not say enough about Zappos. I called and they offered to send me a new pair immediately. When I expressed my concern that it wasn't the most comfortable shoes to begin with, they offered to exchange it for another pair of my choice. I am definitely rather going to pay in a bit and get something that would work better for me. I love Zappos; they have the best customer service in the whole world.

The first time I wore these shoes in Zumba, bits of the sole just peeled off. But I figured that it didn't affect the functionality of the shoes, so ignored it. But the second time I wore it, 3 sections the fabric that the shoe lace threads just tore off. Since I couldn't lace up my shoes, it was literally useless. Poorly constructed and manufactured shoes. Won't buy a Ryka again. Thankfully, Zappos provided an immediate refund.

These had no arch support and were absolutely terrible. The side of my foot went numb in these and I couldn't get a good turn or slide.

I returned them - I liked a pair from Zumba much better. Actually I could not stand these Ryka because I am one of these people who never like to wear a pair of shoes that have arch support and thick soles, especially for dancing, jumping, running and walking. these unnecessary support functions tend to make people jump/walk/run carelessly and wrongly - landing with the whole foot, not bending knees to land to absorb shock, etc. You should never rely on sole and support of your shoes for such motions... need to use your ball of foot and knees and motions then you usually do not develop stress on your feet much compared to wearing supportive shoes and banging your feet on the floor / land. That is my opinion. These shoes made me feel my feet were kind of chocked. But, for some people they might be comfortable, but for my feet that are narrow with well developed arch, they are not. Also they are very wide. Zappos service was incredible, as always!

These are going back. I wear a 10 and ordered a 10½, they feel like a 9½ even with light socks. There is no room for my orthotics (which is why I ordered a half size bigger). I am very dissatisfied.

The pair I rec'd must have been the very last one. I couldn't find the same product in any size when I tried to re-order.The panels on the right foot were lumpy and ill seamed compared to the left. I liked the sleek look online but was disappointed in the item and couldn't re-order. Although comfortable, the poor construction makes it a zero.

I purchased these shoes to use in a dance class. The second time that I wore them I suffered a severe ankle sprain, so serious that I wasn't able to walk for days! I have several pairs of Ryka sandals and really like them. These shoes are horrible and I do not recommend them to anyone, I found out the hard way!
