These shoes are incredibly comfortable. I wore them to a Zumba class and was impressed with the support they provided. The only issue is they stick to the wood floor. They stick worse than my regular cross trainers. I was so disappointed. I have flat feet that are a bit wide in the toes and these shoes have plenty of room.

I really like these shoes. They are very comfortable, though I took out the insoles and put in my own orthotics, so I expected it to be comfortable once the orthotics nicely fit within the shoe. On days when my feet were doing really badly and I couldn't wear pumps, I have worn these with black pant suits and gotten away with it. The only issue is that the area on top of the shoe where the laces go through the holes already looks worn out, so I was disappointed the shoes are not more durable. But I wore them virtually all winter.

Bought these shoes for Zumba class and was very pleased how comfortable they are. If you need a shoe that provides good support and runs a little wider in the front, this is the perfect shoe. I was also very pleased with the service provided by Zappos. The ease in ordering and quick delivery was great. I rarely order on-line but with their great return policy this was a win-win situation, I would have no hesitation in ordering from Zappos again.

The shoes are fine and fit as expected. The service was wonderful. Since I am not too versed in computer work, I also phoned and spoke with a very helpful rep.

I sometimes wear a wide, but not in all shoes. The width was good. Size was half size larger. My only problem with this shoe is the arch support. I wear it for zumba, and though there great for the knees it's just not enough support for my arches. Cross trainers just feel better.

This shoe is sized perfectly and designed well. It is not as hot as the black shoe (same style) but, it doesn't work for me. This shoe is not cushioned enough and after an hour and half of my Indian dance or Zumba class, my feet feel sore at the ball of the foot. Maybe this is me, not the shoe. As a rule, I buy New Balance shoes. I have done well with New Balance, but have not found a New Balance designed for dance fitness. I have a pair of Reebok Zigtech and they are light and supportive, but are difficult to (turn quickly)pivot in.I hope my super detailed review will help in your decision to purchase. If Ryka is a shoe that you wear comfortably, this will be a great shoe for aerobics or dance class.

I bought these for Zumba. I find they do run true to size and width. The shoes look great, not bulky at all. I do wish Ryka would make them a bit wider (they do run wider usually, but not this particular style). Basically, I am happy with them.

I have had these shoes now for a few months. I normally wear a 9 and when I bought them, they were too small and needed a 9.5 so buy a 1/2 size to a size larger. They are so light and comfortable, great shoes to wear daily. I bought them for Zumba. I am 5'6; and overweight at 220lbs. (thus exercising and getting fit). The shoes are not good for Zumba. They are cloth on the sides of the shoe except wear the dark dark colored stripe is and so they have no side support at all. I am going to try out the Nike Musiq to see if that is any better for Zumba. I will however continue to wear these ones daily for normal use.

Comfortable shoes. I bought them for Zumba, but have found that I wear them all around more than I wear them for Zumba. The souls of these shoes grip very we'll-almost too well for Zumba turns and motions. Shoes that slide a little more easily would be better for this activity. The shoes look very cool and lots of people comment on their modern and attractive appearance.

I was so excited to receive these shoes! They had such fantastic ratings! I had bought them to use for my Zumba class, but after just one class, the circular parts of the sole started to shred off! I was very impressed with the difference it made during the class! But unfortunately I did return them for the Nike Free XT Quick Fit+.

I wish this shoe fit my foot! It has a deep heel cup and hurt my tendon. These shoes feel firm (not much bounce). Loved the extra room in the toes, but it did make the shoes feel a bit big (and I don't have wide feet). Would try them smaller but they are sold out...new to Ryka but will try other styles for sure.

Very cute shoe, however, it does provide the cushion and arch support needed for frequent workouts.

I have been searching for a good zumba shoe for my very wide feet (7.5 EE is my regular New Balance running shoe size). All of the zumba shoes are narrow and tapered and don't come in wide. I ordered this in an 8.5 hoping it would work- nope! So small. I think a 9 might actually work but it is sold out, bummer! Love the styling, sole seems perfect and the shoe is very light. Just not the right shape for my foot.

My athletic walking shoe size is 7 1/2 wide. I ordered size 8 in this shoe, and am very happy with the fit with Thorlo socks, the same I use for walking. I've worn them to several Zumba classes and I am very happy with my purchase of this shoe. Good support from the shoe's heel, which projects under my arch; good pivoting, and good with cumbia moves. I would not recommend this shoe for anyone unfortunate to try to do Zumba on a carpeted surface. For that, I would recommend the Bloch dance sneakers, which are more slippery - but I do not recommend that anyone do Zumba on carpet. Your knees will suffer.

These are great shoes for dance and Zumba because of the front impact on the foot. That is what you will need. Do not buy a larger size. I should not have used others' info. Even if your foot swells during exercise, you will have too much room at the toe. Loosen your laces. I used it for exercise only. Everyone in my class uses them. Outside of class -- it is restrictive/supportive for regular day walking and has an "orthopedic" look which is not stylish. Black was the only color available in my size.

It's a nice shoe, but it doesn't have the wide base that a typical tennis shoe does. Good for pivoting--classes like kickboxing or zumba or running around town.

These are great for Zumba! The only downside is I didn't notice they are all leather, so my feet sweat very bad. I would suggest to make sure they are the breathable version before purchasing.

LOVE THEM! I bought these because I started Zumba, and running shoes are not the best when trying to move as fast as you do for that kind of exercise. I had read a review that said these run small, so to order a bigger size. I usually wear a 8 1/2 so I ordered a 9. I probably would have been fine in a 8 1/2 but I find having a bit more room is just a comfortable. I love them and would definitely recommend.

I like the way these look and fit very much. I wear them for weight training mostly. Runs a half size small though, I think. I did end up keeping the 8.5, wanted to try 9, but wanted to wear next day to airport for vacation. Use good quality no-show socks, or the shoes will "eat" them in the back.

Overall good shoes - I use them for Zumba. They're lightweight and fit well (true to size). My only complaint is that the grey swoop on the side is made of a plastic type material that doesn't stretch and occasionally will cut into the side of my foot if I make any large lateral movements.

I am a Certified Zumba instructor, former Indianapolis Colts Cheerleader, & have 21 years of aerobic/fitness instruction experience. At one point during my week, I teach back to back classes and these are the most comfortable and supportive dance sneakers I have ever had! I am coming off of a significant calf injury caused by wearing "flashy" dance shoes that did not have enough support per my MD. I highly recommend the Ryka Studio D!

I have worn the Nike Musique as well but it is not as wide across the bunion area of toes. I do not have a wide foot but the Ryka is much more comfortable.

Got these for Zumba. They are quite comfortable shoes--once I get past the first 10 minutes of the class (I think it's because of my flat feet). I usually wear a 7, but I ordered a 7-1/2 because of the reviews here. If I had gone with the 8, they would have been perfect. I love the shoe's styling, and I would definitely buy another pair when these ones wear out.
