I have always been a size 8 and this shoe was way too small. It was either mismarked or their sizing is way off the norm. I compared to my other shoes and they were at least 3/4 of an inch shorter than all the size 8 sneakers I own including several that are dance shoes.

Love these shoes for my Zumba class. I first ordered a size 8.5 and felt they were a little snug by my toe. Returned for a size 9 and they fit perfect. They glide easily on the floor for all the dance moves required in Zumba.

I've been searching for a good shoe for advanced Step class. Finally found it. These are comfortable all over. Toe box is a little short in my regular size, but I'm still finding them comfortable. And Step today was great.

My purpose for this shoe was for a hip-hop dance class. I needed a supportive sneaker with just enough slip on the ball of the foot to allow pivot and protect my aging knees. I wear a 6½-7WW street shoe. I found this shoe very comfortable, with good width and not excessive length. I would definitely use it for streetwear, court, or cross-training. Unfortunately, the sole is too grippy for my dance class. Who knew I would be shopping for a shoe with less traction? I like the design of the exterior, also - nice parallel swoops in ombre colors. The light color sole is good for anyone needing a non-marking outsole.

This is an excellent shoe. I love to dance but sometimes my 58 year old knees don't. This shoe has been fantastic. No problems whatsoever.

Too small. Did not fit to size. Hard to rate when not able to fit foot.

Love the Ryka dance fitness shoes! My last pair were Ryka too and I find that they run small. I wear a size 9 1/2 in athletic shoes, but I needed a size 10 in this style. I wear them only for cardio dance/zumba because the soles of the shoe let you pivot. My feet need more support when working out, so I use orthotics. But these shoes were comfortable, supportive, and needed no breaking in!

I purchased these shoes specifically for Zumba. They are comfortable and I can easily pivot and turn without torquing my knees. I could slide across the floor without sticking and felt I had good side to side support. I typically wear 7.5 but with any Ryka shoes I have to go 1/2 size up.

The women Ryka's are fabulous. The only improvement you can do is make them for free. But anything for free isn't great. I'll be back for more Ryka's!

I had the previous model of this shoe and wore it out. I had tried some other shoes for Zumba but none worked out. This shoe is exactly what I needed and I will continue purchasing these from now on.

I bought these shoes for Zumba because I was having trouble spinning and pivoting in my sneakers. For the first three classes they hurt my feet but after I broke them in, they are the most amazing shoes for Zumba. I can spin and turn in them (due to the circular patterns on the bottom) without a problem now and they don't hurt my feet at all! I'd highly recommend them for Zumba or other dancing type classes.

I LOVE these shoes. My knees were killing me doing Zumba, one class in my new Ryka Studio D's & I was hooked. No more pain, my feet slid on the floor with ease, like they are supposed to, and they have more cushion than I expected. You won't be sorry with these shoes!

I bought these shoes for Zumba, after reading all the positive reviews. Very pleased! They are much easier to dance in than the running shoes I had been wearing. And... they look pretty good too! I wear a 7.5, and found them true to size. They only reason I give them a 4 for comfort is that they're pretty stiff, with moderate support. I wouldn't wear them to stand on my feet for 12 hours.

I'm really enjoying these shoes. They have a VERY stiff arch. Good if you need lots of support. Not good if you like to point your toes while you dance.

Very comfortable from the first time I put them on, wore them several hours. Really great value for the price. I usually wear a size 9 but ordered the 9.5 based on other reviewers and they fit perfectly. I've gotten a lot of compliments on their stylish look. I haven't had great success buying athletic shoes online in the past but I would definitely buy these again!

Finally got comfortable after about 4 wears in the shoes. Good gliding in them. I found out that you must wear them longer than an hour at Zumba class.

I do Zumba workout DVDs in my carpeted living room, and was hurting my knees since my feet didn't slide on the carpet. I'd purchased carpet sliders for my beloved Saucony sneakers, but I still wasn't sliding, and my feet were cramping up. Then I bought these puppies. I still need to use the carpet sliders, but there is a HUGE improvement in my ability to slide and spin. Another plus is that since these sneakers have a lower profile, the carpet sliders fit much better (they're very tight over regular sneakers). I was skeptical if it was really worth owning a special pair of sneakers just for Zumba, but I have to say, TOTALLY worth it! These slide great on my hardwoods without the sliders, so if you're using them at the gym it may still be worth the investment. Also: They're really cute and comfortable. Thanks Zappos, I never would have found these without you!

I have searched far and wide for a good shoe for Zumba and with the Ryka Studio D, my search has ended! The sole of this shoe is perfect for doing all those pivot moves smoothly, without straining the knees. Overall, the shoe is soft and cushy, but also supports the foot fairly well. I should add that it is a bit roomy in the toe region, but I, without any foot issues, I personally find this quite comfy.

I'm very happy with my Ryka Studio D shoes. I use them for Zumba and my exercise classes. I have a narrow foot and these shoes felt just right on my feet. They could have a shorter shoe lace though. It takes several bows to get them out of the way.

These are great sneakers for classes at the gym. I have worn them to step aerobics and cardio kickboxing, and my feet are smiling! I bought and returned four pairs from different brands before I finally discovered these terrific, basic shoes. They are must haves for studio classes!

Looking for good Zumba shoes and love these! Others stick or refuse to slide and these provide grip when jumping but also slide smoothly when needed. First night felt a little tingling numb but worked through it, every night thereafter, nothing but comfort and support.

I was in need for a pair of shoes to wear for zumba as the ones I had been wearing needed to be retired. I tried locally to find shoes that met my requirements and price nothing. I have been looking online, could find shoes that I liked, but not the prices. Also I was not really crazy about ordering shoes online. I have a narrow heel and really need to try them on first. To go through the trouble to return them was not worth it. I had been looking at the Studio D for awhile and decided to try them. So far I am very pleased with them. Have they improved my dancing? I don't know, but they work for me.
