Second pair of La Canadienne. Wore all day around NYC in the snow first day out of the box. My feet were warm and dry. Wore them the next day too, love them well worth the money.

Have worn for two winters, almost daily, December until March. They still look stylish, zippers still zip, still warm and comfy. Huge fan of La Canadienne. These are well built; waterproof. Keep my feet warm and dry during the refrigerator-cold, blowy-rainy winters in Portland OR. Daily bus commuter; sometimes exit bus into a puddle or sloshed by speeding cars. These protect! As a teacher I need stable soles for standing + walking on concrete floors + sidewalks. I'm often on my feet for 4+ hours without a break. These deliver good arch support. Can wear all day. If mud spattered from commute, easy to suede-brush when dried. I wear a size 9 generally and the 9 was right-sized, permitting a cotton crew sock but not a thicker boot sock. Worth the money.

Very, very comfortable. I just wore them successfully through storms and snow. I wear an 11 and these are a bit tight. I usually wear Born, and their size 11 is longer and wider (but Born shoes are never waterproof, so I needed to find another brand). I can't wear thick socks with these, but while they're not all that insulated, my feet didn't get too cold even in (very) subfreezing temperatures.

I love these boots. Walk through the nastiest snowy street corner slush/water mess NY City has to offer and your feet will remain toasty warm and dry. And, they are not big and clunky, even in my size 10. Mine lasted for 6 years and am ordering another pair. These are the best - totally waterproof, can be worn even with nice dress pants, and very warm. Can't do much better than that for a bad weather winter boot. Would buy the taller ones if I lived farther north, but these are perfect for NYC.

This is the second pair of Felicia boots I've purchased. Had the black and got the dark brown. Extremely comfortable with good arch support and stability on winter surfaces, but fashionable, too. Its sleek fit is easily worn, even under skinny jeans. I walk miles in these boots without any discomfort.

I got these boots to wear on vacation where I would be walking a lot. They are the most comfortable boots ever. Fit is perfect. I have short legs with big calves, and I only had to wear them for a couple of hours to break them in. Great buy!

I absolutely love this boot. I buy a new pair every year because I wear them so much. I have worn them in rain and snow...just use a suede brush and it comes back to life then it looks as if new. Very nice style and comfortable too...worth the money!

I have three pairs of these boots in different colors. I'm normally a 6.5W. It is beyond difficult to find shoes or stylish shoes that are wide width. Based on previous reviews, I bought these in 7W. For me, these are still not a true wide width because the edge of my foot is about 1.5 cm over the edge when standing and looking down at boot. I know that, that isn't a "big" difference, but it could be for people with foot, ankle, leg or back problems. By the way, I'm volunteering an impression or measurement of my right foot to create a true 6.5W foot for any shoe company that needs a wide width foot model. Unfortunately, my left foot is actually border line wide so it can't be used. If this shoe came in more fall/winter colors, I would buy them, too. They are okay for walking and for rain.

These boots are awesome. I'm a 10 to 10.5 these days, but always wear a 9.5 to 10 in boots (Merrell, Clarks). I also have moderate bunions, so I'm looking for a boot that is stylish, that camouflages the bunion, and that will not overstretch and deny my foot the support it needs. I orderd a 9.5 Wide and a regular 10. The 10 was shorter and more narrow than the 9.5 (W). The 9.5 (W) is perfect, and after wearing it around the house for 5 minutes, I could tell that the suede will conform a bit to the shape of my foot. The 9.5 W is not as wide as most wide width shoes, but I think the manufacturer considers how the suede will stretch. I am very pleased. Even though I can see my bunion a little on the right foot, the dark-dark black suede and square-ish toe seems like they are just the dimension I need. If this works out, I will definitely order the gray color as well. Very stylish with skinny jeans or with tights and a wool skirt or above the knee dress. I have found a new "go to" boot brand.

I am a size 10 but ordered 11 (they don't have 10.5) due to reviews saying these run small. These are extremely comfortable to walk around and wear all day. I wish they had 10.5 because 11s are a tad too big. On a good note, because I purchased 1 size up I am able to wear 2 pairs of socks and my feet are toasty warm all day in freezing cold weather. I love the fact that they are waterproof too. These have survived 3 Kansas winters and they still look new.

These shoes are beautiful and comfortable. Love the 2-inch heel - it is low enough to be comfortable, yet high enough to be stylish! My only complaint is that the boot opening at the top feels rather tight. I guess, I have thicker legs or something. But I've been wearing them at home for a couple of hours, and they seem to be loosening up a bit. Since it's suede, I believe they will mold to one's foot a bit, thus I will be keeping them. Thank you, Zappos, for such great service.

Most comfortable pair of shoes I own minus my tennis shoes and hiking shoes. Go well with everything, and are very sleek. I really love these shoes and wore them most days around my college campus last year.

Wore these CONSTANTLY on a cold and wet week long trip to Paris. Walked everywhere and never had foot problems at the end of the day. Actually had people comment on them at the security line at the airport and had a chic Parisian woman also comment on them while on the metro. And going to stockpile these in black to wear FOREVER!

This is a great pair of shoes. I ordered 9 instead of 8.5 and fit perfect. First day, the ankle was little too tight, but it stretched out just fine. I walked all over Paris for over a week in rainy weather. Only problem I had was the balls of my feet hurt after first day, but I have same problem with other shoes too. I added in-sole padding and they were fine. Love the look of the shoes.

I have put these boots through the wringer - 3 days, walking over 8 miles each day - in Paris. Today, there was a wet blizzard and I was sloshing through puddles and freeing muck, and they still look great, my feet are dry, and I have no pain whatsoever. I am completely and totally sold on this brand and will buy no other - ever!

I am so pleased with these boots;they are very comfortable and lightweight. This is my 3rd pair of La Canadiennes. and have had only one issue with a pair in which the heels wore down extraordinarily fast. The arch support is very good, but since I overpronate, I use my inserts if I'm going to be doing a lot of walking. If one is looking for warm, stylish, waterproof boots, then La Canadienne is the brand to buy.

These are most comfortable boots I've owned. I don't even want to take them off when I come home. Very chic styling - classic. I love the dark gray suede. I bought them in my size (7.5) and they felt a little snug at first but the 8 felt too big. They've loosened up and are perfect fit. Will look for more by this brand.

I love these boots. I can walk all day long. I have trouble feeling cute in a covered boot, but I feel great in these. They do feel a bit narrow, but still super comfortable.

These shoes are great. Very comfortable. Heel height is nice; shoe is stylish AND comfortable. They aren't quite as warm as I expected but with wool socks work well.

These are terrific boots and extremely comfortable. I wear a 7.5 in all my La Canadienne boots, but took the advise to size up and ordered an 8. They fit perfectly. For reference I wear a 7.5 dress shoe, an 8 for tennis shoes or golf shoes and an 8.5 for running shoes.

I love my boots. This is my third pair of La Canadienne's in the past 10 years. They each last for years. I love that they keep my feet warm and look great too. I got stuck in a rain storm and my feet were completely dry.

I just want to say how happy I am with the quality of La Canadian. I have worn these boots for two winters and they are perfect for winter. They keep you dry and warm and you look fantastic.

Oh, I just adore these boots. They are fabulous beyond description. I have awful old feet. I'm 50 with genetic issues, fused bones. Never have been able to wear heels. But I can wear these for most purposes and all day long without discomfort. The one major exception I've found, at least for me, is with walking vacations. I can easily walk 10 miles or more per day on my trips, and these shoes are fine for about 2-3 miles. A heel height of 1.5 inches above the toe is just not comfortable enough for longer walks. So I take along my pair of Mephistos for that, and any sneaker by that company is great for long walks and well worth the price. But for most purposes, La Canadienne is my shoe of choice, and Felicia at the top of the list. I have two colors: black and brown, both lovely. I have not had any problem with spotting, but the toes do wear a bit in the suede, so brushing is probably a good idea. Keep in mind I have had mine for a few seasons now and wear them near constantly, so it would be a miracle if they weren't a bit worn by now. But they are still going strong! I have recently discovered Vintage Shoe Company boots for dress-up and wearing over leggings, and I love them too, but for comfort, I'd say La Canadienne has Vintage beat, and at a significantly lower price. One word of warning: these are not for wide feet or wide ankles. They are for normal to slender feet. Though they might feel snug at first, wear them with thin socks at first to stretch them out a bit, and then I think you will find that they will accommodate thicker socks. I like that they make my feet look dainty. Very pretty, casual shoes that are nice enough for the office under slacks; they are also very close-fitting and look fine under leggings -- under, not over, as one would have to be pencil thin to get leggings inside them. I wear them November to April in Southern California; they are too warm for late spring, summer and most of fall.

I went through several orders before choosing these boots. I wanted something waterproof, stylish, comfortable, with a slight heel, in black or gray. These are the only boots that made the grade and I couldn't be more pleased. Caution: Unless you have long, narrow feet, order 1/2 size down.
