I had been looking for water-proof boots with some height to them for quite a while, before finally finding these boots. They are comfortable and good-looking, though not the most stylish. I walk about 5 minutes from my house to the workplace, often in snow in winter, but wanted to have a few inches in the heels so I could wear longer, more fashionable pants. These boots are very comfortable and I can wear them all day without any problems. They don't get too warm indoors either. I bought them on sale on a different site in mid-winter, in both black and dark brown, and am now wondering if I should buy the grey at the regular price. I went a half size up because my usual size (8) felt tight around the ankles (I do have thick ankles but rather flat or narrow feet). A great buy if you want comfortable boots that have some height!

Love these boots almost as much as I love Zappos customer service. They are SO helpful. These boots fit my wide feet like a glove right out of the box - very happy!

Really cute boots, comfortable and easy to wear. Look great with skinny jeans, or with a short skirt. Very happy with them. They are a tad tight and wearing them with nylons rather than socks. Would love a little more arch support, but compared to most boots, they are good.

I love this boot! I had to return them because I have an old foot injury, and the heel was not the right fit for the left foot, but the right foot felt great. They look great: exactly how they do in the picture, and they are very comfortable and stylish. I will have to order the closest thing I can get to these, minus the heel. It is not an extremely high heel and would have been fine if my left foot still had the ability to bend, but since it can't, it's not the best for me. Also, a customer service person named Joanette just gave me the most wonderful service ever. She was so friendly and kind, it made me happy to have to make a service call for once! She really brightened my day!

I was skeptical about ordering these boots because the insole wasn't removable to fit my custom orthotic, but I'm glad I ordered them anyway as they are the most comfortable boots/shoes I've ever worn! They offer great arch support and room in the toe box and I can wear them all day in comfort. I ordered an 8 wide and they fit perfectly. Stylish, too! My first pair of La Canadienne's won't be my last!

These are amazingly comfortable. I have problem feet...wide at toe area so feet have room to breathe...ahhh. I wear a 7.5...this is an 8 that fits perfect.

I wore this every single day of the winter. It felt like wearing slippers made of cloud fluff - yet it was sturdy enough to enable me to pound the pavements all over Manhattan. It is surprisingly water resistant; you can walk through a puddle and come out perfectly dry. I love the strong sturdy high heel and the flat bottom that keeps you from tripping. Love these boots! Just might buy a new pair for next winter!

Oh, boots are gorgeous! I fell in love! My first pair of La Canadiennes must have been unusual, the heel fell apart within 6 months (they are no longer sold). But Zappos is the best. I only tried another pair because of Zappos. I ordered these in gray, Blanche in black and red patent, and Perla. I am keeping these and both Blanches. Sounds nuts, but they are all perfect. The Felicias look so cool, under pants and feel awesome. I don't think they'll work with skirts. They are snug, but not tight at all, just fitted. A little height, understated style, and I cannot believe how comfortable they are. Very classy, a little different. Winter hasn't hit yet, but all the reviews say they really are waterproof.

I bought these in brown and black and absolutely adore them. Normally a size 8.5, I ordered that size and my heart fell as I had difficulty zipping them. I had read on Amazon that they do stretch out, so I wore skimpy socks with them first and within two weeks, they fit perfectly, like gloves, even with my Smartwool socks on. I've worn them in rain, in rough muddy areas. They are treated and wash quite well, still look new. Only word of caution is that this is too much heel for a walking shoe. For limited walking to a few miles and for normal bustling about, they are fine. But if you are a heavy walker (or for travel), probably best to get a shoe with less heel. I have horrible feet. It's a relief to find something so stylish to wear! The suede is so soft. Great shoes! (You can find these steeply discounted off season, so it's worth keeping an eye out for sales.)

I love these boots - I bought them in brown also and I wear them all the time. They have a wider footbed which made them comfortable for lots of walking.

It took four tries to get exactly what I wanted and these are it. Very comfortable and very elegant. They look like they will be easy to clean and they are made in my hometown!

Ok, so this is my fourth pair of boots from LaCanadienne and I love them! I have a long, narrow size 12 foot and have struggled forever to find good fitting shoes. Brands that claim to be a size 12, usually come up short, literally, but not LaCanandienne. Lucky me! I can look fashionable and be comfortable, go figure! The Felicia boot is warm and roomy and offers a nice alternative to a taller boot. Go for it!

Loved them so much bought a pair for my sister. Stylish yet so practical. The heel height is perfect. Love that they are waterproof. Great comfortable practical and stylish - All good!

Great boot, fits like a glove, extremely comfortable and well-made! I have never contemplated spending this much on a pair of ankle boots before, but based on all the favorable reviews, took the plunge. These boots look great, feel great. Wore them out of the box with no breaking in period. Took my dog for a long walk in them that afternoon. I have high arches - no problem. I wear a 9-1/2 in shoes, 10 in boots. Ordered a 10 and they fit perfectly. Good for wearing with skirts or pants. Wear with tights or trouser socks, thick socks would be too much.

These boots are so very comfortable. You can wear them the entire day and your feet do not hurt. They are great.

These shoes are great. They go with anything and can be dressed up or down. I've received many compliments on them and they are now my go to shoe.

This boot is comfortable and good in wet, snowy weather and has enough style so that if I wear it in the office, it doesn't scream snow boot. I already own it in black so getting the brown made sense. If, however, you are looking for real warmth for extended outdoor use, I would look elsewhere.

I had to go up half a size and also to wide width. My foot measures exactly a 6B and that is what I have purchased all my life. In the past few years however sizing seems to be off in a lot of brands (generally too narrow). I purchased my first pair of La Canadienne boots over 10 years ago in a 6B and they fit like a glove from the start (they lasted over 10 years and I walk a lot). I was surprised when the 6B in these was way too tight, especially across the top of the foot and around the ankle. I could hardly get them on. I exchanged them for a 6½ but still too tight and they did not feel that much larger than the 6. I finally ended up with a 6½W. At first they were still a bit tight in the width and a little long in length, but after a few months they now fit like a glove and are the most comfortable shoes I own. So despite them not being true to size, I am giving them five stars because they do conform to your foot eventually and will be very comfortable and great for walking.

The ankle was very tight on me. It felt almost a half size smaller. It could be just due to the design.

These are the most comfortable and stylish shoes... They look great with jeans, and cords but I also wear them with wool pants to work and they look equally good. They run true to size. I got them in wide for extra comfort and could not have been happier Highly recommend.

I am happy with my purchase. I also bought La Canadienne Camilla and ended up returning them. The Felicia in Taupe is more versatile and I have received many compliments. I bought the wide width and although the right boot was snug around the ankle it has stretched enough so there was a little break-in period. I also have bunions but the heel height is comfortable and I have no pain.

Great looking and very comfortable boots for walking anywhere in San Francisco up and down the hills. Wear all day and your feet feel great.

These are wonderful boots. They fit like a glove, are waterproof, make a great line with your foot and leg, and are comfortable. I have an orthotic insert and the boot comfortably accomodates it.

These boots are both comfortable and attractive. I find myself wearing them often. The reasonable arch support allows me to walk long distances in them without discomfort (which isn't true for me for most boots).

These shoes are very cute and comfortable. The wide width and wedge heel were perfect. I have a bunion and have difficulty finding cute and comfortable shoes.
