I've had my Hunters for over two years now and they're great! They fit true to size and are quite comfortable, especially with warm socks during the cold winter months. My only complaint is that one of the buckles did break last year. Additionally, the boots are quite heavy so if you're looking for a lighter boot, this isn't the one for you!

Amazing for walking around in the city. You won't be wet from the knee down. Can dress them up or down. Only complaint would be that they're a little stiff when you first buy them and they look better on taller people with longer legs.

I wear a size 9 and purchased a size 9. They are larger width-wise than length-wise. I'm so glad I purchased these boots before the hurricane season this year. I would have been stuck inside with out them. They are the perfect rain boots. I have muscular calves, and they fit well around them. I wear a size 9 with a high arch and I attempted to put some insoles in them, but it wasn't worth it, as they kept sliding around inside. I don't recommend wearing these as a walking-type/ everyday shoe. They eventually made the ball of my foot ache. They are, though, very stylish and they look great with all of my dresses and jeans. Buy these if you are looking for style, not for industrial use.

I bought these in Navy so I could have something easy to slip in and out of when taking my dog out in less than favorable weather conditions. They're roomy enough for my muscular calves but tight enough around my ankles that my foot doesn't slip right out. I normally wear an 8.5 in dress shoes and a 9 in sneakers but the 8 was just fine for me in the Hunter wellies. I even have room for thicker socks during the winter. The navy is dark enough that it could almost pass for a faded black. There was a little of the white residue on the shoe when I got it (part of the blooming effect they write about) but that came right off with the first wear in wet conditions. These boots are pricier than I would pay for Wellies but I'm hoping they last me a long time!

I love these boots. I wore them for the first time yesterday. The color is a little lighter than the picture shows, and if you have larger calves I might go with the Huntress, but I preferred the longer shaft so I'm making it work. I live in New Orleans where it rains ALOT, so these were an investment. Zappos was easy to order from too.

Beautiful color, comfy except they were too tall for me. I'm 5'6", going to buy the shorter style.

True to size but if you plan on buying the Hunter socks or any other thick sock buy a size up!

Love these! It was just too hard to get them on. My calves are a touch too big for these (thank you, horseback riding). They seemed like they were a great quality. I can't wait to get the other pair.

Just received my Hunter rainboots. Unfortunately, I will be returning them. They were really hard to get off. I was looking for a pair that I could easily slip on and off.

Might be useful information for some worried about calf width: The circumference of the boot at the top does not increase by size - the description says a size 7 is 16" around...so is the size 9. I have to send these back because the top of the boot air-sealed around my calf, creating some sort of weird, terrible Hunter boot vacuum. It was difficult to get the boot on in the first place, but nearly impossible to get off! Once on they did fit though, which is worrying; maybe this explains why some people wear them inside all day long instead of changing into other shoes? I wear a 9.5 and ordered the 9. They fit and were not snug, but I didn't feel I would have room for a heavy sock as some of the other reviews have said.

The shaft is so narrow on this boot I couldn't even get it up high enough to get my foot into the shoe part. I chose the Huntress model instead, but I'm so sad that I can't have this beautiful eggplant color.

I bought these boots mainly to wear to work in fall and winter. So far, they are great: cute, classic, warm, comfortable, easy to walk in (I find that sometimes rain boots can be a bit wonky to walk in). The only minor complaint I have is they are bit challeging to take off. They run a little on the large side, I usually wear an 8, but after reading the other reviews sized down to a 7. A 7.5 really would have been perfect, as the 7's are a tad snug.

These are great. Very comfortable and well worth the money. I wore them through Irene in Pennsylvania, and today in the rain as well. No leaks. The only thing is I don't think I have particularly muscular calves, but jeans are a bit tough to tuck in (granted they're not skinny jeans). The ankles are quite roomy, but the top part of the shaft of the boot is quite tight around the calf. I got navy blue - classic and comfortable.

I got these last year and love them, but am still trying to figure them out. I wear a size 6, which I bought, but the shaft is too big to fit around my calf. I know that I am small, but thought they should and would fit tighter around the calf. I just wonder if they are suppose to be all floppy at the top. Love them, but wish they were more fitted!

I like the style of the boot but will be returning them due to my 15½" calves. The top of the boot, as stated in the description, is only 15". I have not ever had a problem with boots not fitting so I did not bother to measure. That was a big mistake. The shaft measures 16" not the circumference. As snug as the tops are, the footbed is quite large and I could've worn two pairs of thick socks and been very comfortable and I do have a medium width.

The boots are nice grade of rubber but these aren't made for women with athletic calfs and they fo run a whole size larger. I wear a 9 in every other shoe but these fit like they were flopping off in that size.

I bought this boot one size smaller than I normally wear based on other reviews and Zappos' recommendation. I normally wear a size 6, but ordered a 5. They were too small. I returned them, got store credit, reordered them in size 6 (Zappos shipped them faster than expected!) and they fit. So, I think if you wear a 1/2 size ordering smaller might work, but these are true to fit for me. While, they are not the most comfortable boot for this much money (fits a bit funny at the achilles heel), it is a rubber boot, stylish, but still a rubber boot.

Wasn't sure if they'd fit, as my calves are sometimes too big for tall ladies' boots, but these did. And they are super comfy (though you may be warm in them, since they are somewhat thick).

Love these boots. Definitely take a little getting use to with the heel and narrow foot bed, but worth it. Very supportive. The coloring on the boot gets a little faded when they dry, which is strange, but it doesn't seem like permanent color damage or anything since when they get wet again, they go back to that beautiful green color.

I love these boots, not sure why I procrastinated ordering for so long. I knew they ran big, so I did order a full size down and they fit perfectly. Of course the fabulous speedy Zappos service made it even better.

Great for the city - make sure to buy the welly socks to go with them. A little tight around the calves but I think I can attribute that to being a runner and having muscular calves.

Let me just say that I've never owned a legit pair of rainboots until this pair and I'm glad I started at the top! These are not only perfectly classic and chic but durable comfortable & practical all at the same time! Of course Zappos is amazing as always! The only thing that's disappointing is that I'm 5'10" & these hit a little lower below my knee than I would prefer. But overall best rainboot you can buy hands down. If you were thinking about it, stop it and just buy them; you will be secretly excited whenever it rains!

Fun, comfortable boot! I received as a gift and was given the wrong size, the exchange was remarkably simple and quick!

These boots are certainly stylish and functional. They are not A+ on comfort, but what rain boots are? The point is and they keep you dry and look fantastic. I bought Dr. Scholls inserts for mine for enhanced comfort!
