I got the Hunter Original in black and the boots look great. They're much more versatile and classic than patterned rain boots. Be wary, however, if you're short. I'm 5'4" and they come up to the bottom of my knee cap. I can still walk, but comfort isn't optimal. They also seemed a size larger than marked, but this will be fine for the winter if you plan to wear heavy socks or the Hunter wellie socks.

Back to wellie comfort!!!! This is my 2nd pair of Hunters, having lost the original pair, that my father had bought for me in England, to Katrina, along with the rest of my house and worldly possessions! Now life is coming back together and it must include Hunter's. They are as comfortable as I remember them; I love them, especially in red! Thanks a bunch!

I heart my Wellies! These are so great. I got a full size smaller than I normally get (I'm a 9, I got an 8) and they fit perfect. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.

Hunter Originals - Great boots, great coolers, I recommend the wellie socks to go along. They are great because they don't have that sloppy rainboot kind of feel. Lots of compliments. I got the merlot. Got my usual size, and they fit great.

Practical and stylish! I had been drooling over the Hunter boots for a while and my recent move to Seattle gave me a perfect excuse to buy them! My only trouble was deciding what color to get. I am a true 8 so ordered the corresponding size (39). They are a bit roomy but fit perfectly with a thicker sock and a heel insert that I add for more comfort. Zappos service was excellent -- I ordered them on Wednesday morning and received them by Thursday afternoon!

Red Wellies - I just love my new red Wellies and can hardly wait for inclemate weather to begin wearing them; a wry fashion statement for the stable. I bought a half size smaller than I wear in shoes and they still offer plenty of room for heavy socks. Bring on the weather!!

Great looking in red - They're comfortable (I wear a 6 1/2-7, bought the 6, and still can wear socks underneath) and they're sharp. It hasn't been too cold/rainy here in a while, though. I can't wait to wear them - would like other colors as well.

I love my new boots!!! GREAT (red) boots. Have been shopping for rain boots for a while, and couldn't find anything I liked/that looked good until I saw these on someone, noticed the name, and found them on Zappos - I ordered them at 5pm on a rainy day, and got them the very next day, just in time for more rainstorms! Definitely order a size down though - I am a full 8 normally, but ordered the 7 and they are perfect. Well worth the money!!

Could not ask for better! I ordered these in Navy at 7:30 PM and got them the next day! It was awesome and just in time for the rainy weather! The boots are very comfortable, nice-looking, and it was easy to tuck in my pants. It was fun to finally get to splash through all the puddles in the street. I definitely recommend these boots since they are timeless and durable.

Great Duck Boots - I live in a beach town on the TX Gulf Coast and needed a good pair of rain boots. We get hit by squalls and even hurricanes a lot. These are not only stylish, but real work horses.

Great Wellies - I got these boots in navy for myself & my daughter... we live on a farm, so we'll be able to get the chores done "in style"! They are comfortable and the shaft is wide enough to tuck pants in.

So cute, so practical - These shoes are so practical yet look so cute, especially with skinny jeans. They're very Kate Moss - now I can't wait for it to rain!

Lots of Fun and Very Practical - I bought a size 8 at first, but had to return them for my normal size. It was a little confusing the first time around, but then I ordered the US Women's size 9 in Lime Green and I have to say that I LUV them! I wore them camping and hiking in the rain and got them particularly muddy - and they clean up easily and still look great!!!

Zappos is fabulous as are these shoes... I ordered these at 9pm and they came by 1pm the very next day- AMAZING. They are super stylish (as far as wellies go). I wear an 8 normally (9 in running shoes), so I went with an 8 in these and with socks they fit perfectly - I also intend on buying the Hunter fleece sock inserts, so the little room I have will be perfect. Also, as a runner I have pretty large calves, but I can still tuck jeans into the boots. Fabulous.

Cute boots-- The other reviewers are right; these are high-quality, nice-looking boots. They are surprisingly comfy for rubber boots, but they are on the heavy side. And tall! I'm 5'11" and they hit me about 2 inches below the knee. They do feel a little big, but I ordered my regular size 10, and they are fine. Good for thick socks and tucked-in pants. I got the purple ones, and the color is nice. Not too flashy, but nice if you want something more than black or brown.

Order these according to Zappos sizing recommendations, which I find to be almost always right-on. I also got two sock inserts, which you can fold over the tops for a bit of color, in red and bright yellow, so when I'm wearing my usual black clothes, you can see some stocking and bright color. Fun! Very comfortable and great for inclement weather! I actually got to step right into a big puddle on purpose.

Hurray, I live in Seattle! My Hunter boots arrived today, one day after ordering them. I originally went to a department store to buy them but they were completely out of them and were back ordered until 12/9! Much happier that I got them at Zappos. I wear 8.5 normally and ordered the 8 which fit perfectly. The calf fits fine with room to spare.

Hunter Wellies - These boots are nice. The color blends in with the outdoors, they are tall so your feet do not get wet...ever. Great for yard work, walking the dogs and keeping dry.

I love these boots... I've wanted a pair of these boots for the longest time! They've completely lived up to my expectation. Zappos is incredible, I ordered my boots in the afternoon and they arrived the next morning.

Hunter Original -- Black - I love this boot. It is completely impermeable and very comfortable. The boot reaches my knee and looks great with skinny jeans.

Go splash and dance in the puddles! These are fabu boots! There are no seams, so these will never leak. There is a cloth lining, so your feet/legs don't feel clammy or stick to the rubber. These are nice and tall, and just wide enough to tuck in pant-legs. There is no significant arch support, but I put in a pair of Superfeet insoles for a perfectly comfortable fit. With the insoles, I can do all of my weekend errands on a rainy day and not feel any foot fatigue or aches. I'm complimented on them every time I wear them. My only regret? I wish I'd ordered orange or yellow instead of iris-blue--too bad they're made so well that they're not likely to need replacing for many years!

Why would you wait for the rain to wear these?! I love them so much I plan to wear them all the time. I ordered a women's size 6 (I'm normally a 7) and they fit perfectly. I have thin legs and they fit and look great. I have wanted some rain boots for a long time but all of the others have huge ankles and look too bulky and half of them my feet step right out of when I take a step. These are perfect.

Great Rain boot - I have had a few pairs of rainboots in my past but these hands down are the best, super comfortable and totally functional.

Great boots! These fit well. I'm a 10, sometimes 9-1/2, and they fit perfectly. Had room in the width to accommodate my small bunion. They are the first rain boots I've had that are comfortable.
