I LOVE these boots. This boot is completing my fall and winter wardrobe - and I can only assume it will do the same in the spring. The foot felt a little big, but the calves fit perfectly. I wear them as much as possible...and LOVE that I don't have to avoid mud or puddles now.

Good Rain/Snow Boot - After much deliberation, I decided on the Hunter Original Wellie. Got a 7, even though I'm a 7 1/2-8 in shoes & sneakers, they fit fine. I am a 7 in most boots, and the photos on Zappos are true to form. They arrived a day after I placed my order - earlier than I expected since I'd selected standard shipping. The last Rain/Snow boot I owned was lined with a fuzzy warm material, so I've had to adjust to not having a cushion & lining but I plan to get the Hunter Wellie Socks before full blown winter gets here. I am pleased with my boots. They look pretty good with my boot cut jeans & slacks pulled over them as well.. Running around New York City on wet days just got a little easier..

A great rain boot and actually comfortable. I'm a size 8, ordered a size 7 and they fit very nicely.

Splendid! Had to wait to get my size color combo, but they arrived the next day once they were available to order. The weather was a perfect rainy/snowy mix the day they arrived, so I put them on and tromped out into the weather delighted to be wearing these cute/functional boots! Got tons of compliments the first time out! Definitely worth the investment!

Love my rain boots - I ordered these in a 7 and I normally where a 7 and a half or an 8. The seven fits fine. I have narrow feet so I will always think the shoes I buy are too wide, but that is nothing that a thick sock can't fix. These are great with skirts and jeans. Very cute and all the color options are magnificent. I really want to order the wooly sock liners now. As always Zappos delivers in every category.

Classic style, modern comfort - The reviewer who described these boots as "buttery soft" is right on. The rubber is flexible and moves with you as you walk. The sole of the boot feels a little bit heavy at times -- but not so much that I've had any trouble walking (just enough so that I feel like an amazon tromping around with boots up to my mid-knee!). These boots run quite large. Even if you order a full size down, you'll be left with plenty of room for tucking in pants/jeans or adding an extra pair of socks. They look especially snappy with a contrasting pair of Wellie Socks (though it's much harder to tuck the pants into the socks+boots than the boots themselves).

Love them! These boots are gorgeous! Like another reviewer mentioned, however, they come up quite high on shorter gals; I'm 5'2 and they are just a touch below the bend of my knee. They look great and are so practical; I think I can deal with the shaft height. There is also no way I can get jeans tucked in there without looking like a circus clown, but that's okay too. On another note, I've noticed several reviewers complaining about white residue/lines. The booklet that accompanies the boots explains that sometimes such a residue will appear due to a preservative of sorts coming to the surface and to simply wipe clean with a damp cloth. Problem solved!

Bring on the rain! First time ordering on Zappos and I'm totally pleased with these boots. I ordered a size down - I am a narrow 9 and I ordered an 8 - and I'm glad I did as they fit perfectly with regular socks. They are just the right size to tuck my jeans into. Love the aubergine colour too! As far as rainboots go, these are a great mix of classic style and practicality.

Very satisfied - I just received my boots today and I got one size smaller. I wear a size 6 so I got the smallest size they had. They fit PERFECTLY with thin socks AND with thick wool socks... the height is just right and they are so comfortable!

Super cute boots - I purchased these for my daughter (12 years). They are of high quality construction. They look really hip and current. They appear to run true to size, but are a little loose for someone with a very narrow foot. The colors are super fun. The rise of the boot, the height below knee, is rather tall, so if you have short legs, they feel tall and hit pretty much at your knee.

A must in the Northeast - These wellies are amazing. I ordered them in the summer to prepare for the nasty fall deluges we get and have been wearing them since. They're taller than regular wellies and have a sleeker and much more flattering silhouette, too. My only gripe is that after a full day's wear, my feet ached a little. Now I use inserts and don't have to worry about that. Also, they do run big; I wear a 7.5 or 8, but I ordered a 7 and can wear thick socks with them without feeling a pinch. I live in Maine and I think that with the fleece inserts, these boots are a great cold-weather alternative to clunky, ugly Uggs.

Hunter Wellies - I love this boot! I have them in merlot and navy and I wear them with everything. I also bought the wellie socks in navy and they really help keep your feet warm. I usually wear a size 9 (which is the size I bought) and I put cushioned insoles in them and had a perfect fit.

Love my Hunter Originals! Great looking boot and so practical too. I wouldn't recommend wearing them for 8 hour stretches, as there's not exceptional foot support, but other than that minor fact, I'd highly recommend them! I plan on ordering them in another color too.

Great! I haven't gotten to wear my new boots, but I'll be ready when the weather gets bad. This was the easiest and quickest shoe shopping experience I’ve had! The boots fit great, they had a ton of colors to choose and I received them in 2 days! Definitely will shop at Zappos again!

This boot runs a whole size larger, so order a size down from what you would normally wear. They are very comfortable; I have hard-to-fit feet that are very narrow and I have an illness that makes my feet hurt all the time. I wear these boots all the time because my feet never hurt! They look good, but are great for tromping in the mud or muck in the backyard.

I have very narrow feet, so I was really concerned about the boot. It is great, not too tight. Comfortable to wear around the horse barn with a lightweight sock.

5 stars - I love my boots. They keep me dry on rainy days! I can't wait to get the fleece socks so I can wear them all winter long. I just need Zappos to restock!

Fabu! Bought them for a three day outdoor concert in the mud and rain and I’m so happy with them!

These rain boots are adorable - I got these boots in Fuschia and they are really cute. They are just the thing to be running around in cold, wet, or muddy weather. The calf is wide enough to tuck jeans into. They seem really practical as well as cute.

These are comfortable and excellent for trudging around in bad weather. I am actually looking forward to the upcoming cold and rainy fall/winter days so that I can wear my new boots!

My new favorite rain boots! These rain boots are wonderful! They are waterproof, durable and are so easy to wear in the rain or in the mud because they are easy to clean!

So fun! I've coveted these boots for quite awhile. I had a hard time justifying the cost as you can pick up rubber boots anywhere for cheap. I'm so glad I decided to order these. They are so funky and hip and have such a long-standing English history. They are beyond comfortable. I love to wear them, they make me feel young and trendy! The bonus is that not many people have these boots so you can feel exclusive. I got the beautiful Merlot color and I know that I will be wearing them non-stop as I live in the Northwest and the rains are upon us. So happy I don't have to ruin all my other shoes by wearing them in the wet weather.

Love this boot! I love the look of this boot. They look like riding boots and you think they are until you are up close. They are very comfortable with thick socks. The only issue I have with them is that the shaft is so tall that it makes walking kind of stiff, you have to get used to it. Plus, the tallness of the boot is what makes them look so good and stylish.

Hunter boots are great - I ordered the navy blue and love the color. It is a great neutral. The shaft is a close fit if you have larger calves, so I recommend going one size up and wearing a heavier sock or insole for the foot portion. This is a great boot and I cannot wait to wear it! Can tuck skinny jeans or leggings in comfortably.

Hunters RULE... 'specially if you have skinny calves - These boots are great if you have the problem of swimming in most boots due to your skinny calves! They look sleek, slim, and fashionable - even with a little black dress. Nice height, too. I love the Aubergine color, elegant yet neutral enough to blend with most clothing colors. Regarding the sizing: the reviews were correct... order one size smaller than your normal size. I wear a 9 to 9.5 and I ordered the Woman's 8 (Size 39) and they're perfect with thin socks. 40 would have probably been too big. If there were half sizes, I'd get the 8 ½, but they don't do halves. Killer boots!
