Great rain/mud/work boot - I got these because it had been raining a lot recently and I am very happy with them. We also have construction in our backyard so they keep me from getting my good shoes dirty. I got my husband the Argyll pair and he wears them all the time when he's in the yard and the yard is not completely dry. Definitely a good buy. I bought an 8 and I am an 8.5 in street shoes.

Hunter original, black; I wear them always, even now as the rain stops; they're easy to put on, feel great on long walks...and they're almost graceful in comparison with other galoshes. I highly recommend these boots!

Classic and amazing rainboots! The winter season was so incredibly rainy and I would see so many people wearing rainboots... but I don't think any of them compare to Hunter Wellingtons. Just seeing Hunter Wellingtons shows that it is the REAL rainboot! The fit is great, the look is incredible, and it fits perfectly. I guess I could have gone one size smaller in the shoe, but I don't think it makes much of a difference.

Great Wellies! These boots are great for people walking around cities! I walk to and from work everyday and love my Hunter wellies. I am a size 8.5-9 and bought the black wellies in a size 8. I had to return them since they were too big. I ended up purchasing the navy in a size EU38 and they fit perfect. Also, it has to be said that the customer service at Zappos is excellent. They overnighted me my first pair and then when they didn't fit, they overnighted me my second pair without having to get the first ones back first. GREAT!

Perfect red waterproof boots! I got my first pair of authentic green Hunters to get me through the mud of England when living there in the early 90's and they're still very much enjoyed (particularly during deep snows) and holding up well. Now I have the new red models for use in a very slushy New England city and find them to perform better than anything else I've tried - plus their bit of colorful whimsy makes me happy and often solicits smiles from passers-by. Perfect! The sizing is a bit large - just right for wearing with heavy warm socks.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my boots!!! After going through 4 pairs of Hunters/Huntress boots, I've found the ones I love! (Thanks to Zappos for having amazing customer service and putting up with my inability to choose.) I chose the Hunter Originals (black) - they're a little tight with flared jeans tucked in, but fit great with skinny ones. The Huntress was too big, it made the boot feel heavy and buckle around the ankles. This is the best looking rain boot I've seen - and they're so slimming on the calves (esp. mine which are pretty large for my petite body). If you're looking for sophisticated wellies - these are them. I can't wait for the rain tomorrow!

I love these boots! I can't remember the last pair of shoes that I had where I have gotten so many compliments on them! I was a little hesitant about the price but they really were such a great investment. I also live in Chicago, and this winter has been terrible for rain/snow/ice. I work downtown and walk a mile to work so I needed boots that would protect me from the huge puddles all over the city streets. I had a pair of rain boots that ripped on the side seam (from my feet being wide I guess) so I went with the Hunters considering they are the single-mold. These are rain boots- and not meant to be warm- so you do have to wear ski socks with them- or double-up on regular socks. My only complaint is that if you have thicker calves, the boots can be a little tight on the upper part of your calves if you try and wear them with thick pants (tucked in) and knee socks. Other than that, they are fairly comfortable. If you are thinking about spending in the $50 range for rain boots, I think it's definitely worth paying a little extra for these.

Love these boots - Great boots, very comfy, perfect fit (ordered a size smaller than usual). Good for working in the yard, running around on snowy/rainy days. You will have these boots forever! Ordered the green, very pretty. Zappos is the best, delivered the next day.

So excited for the rain! I love this boot--and I have gone back and forth like crazy. I wanted a more "grown up" wellie, (my polkadot Target ones aren't working for me anymore,) and saw these and instantly fell in love with these. I didn't really want the "huntress" label, despite my wide calf so I ordered both the original and wide to see which would fit...turns out the original fit better--although a little tighter than I would like with jeans tucked in--the huntress was MUCH to wide. I ordered a 1/2 size down and they fit perfect in the feet. I got them in black and can't wait for the rain we're expecting all week!!!

I love my hunters! I get compliments every time I wear them. I bought 6.5 because the reviews said that the boots run a half size too big and they fit really well.

Hunter original review - Terribly stylish boot...warm, waterproof, cleans up in a snap. Order a size down from your norm. Roomy- lots of extra thick sock room and easy to tuck jeans into the adjustable-width calf. Compliments from all ages, by the way!

Love my hunter originals - My wonderful sister, Melissa purchased my boots for my 55th birthday, she originally ordered the lovely lilac ones, however, I needed a more camouflaged color selection to wear hunting, so I regretfully returned them and got the last brown pair in stock. Even though the south is in a drought, we have had several rainy Saturdays, and I have worn my new hunter boots and have gotten several compliments. I thank my sister and Zappos for my great boots, I have a very narrow foot and I am very pleased with the fit.

Hunter Original - Looks to be an extremely well made waterproof boot. Typically I wear a 10, but they didn't have it in the color I wanted so I hoped it would work in a 9 in addition. Both were too short. I wear a narrow but since these don't come in narrow I tried the medium width. I could have made them work with thick socks and perhaps gel insoles as one reviewer suggested, if they'd been long enough. While Zappos suggests ordering a men's size if you need a larger size, I see both men's boot height and calf circumference is larger. I am making an assumption that the show width itself would be larger too, and that won't work for my narrow foot. The 10 was in Navy and I thought it was masculine looking. (Additionally I am not fond of the colors offered in the men's boot). The Aubergine color (hence the color I wanted in the smaller size) is just absolutely delicious. It isn't too loud but has some femininity without being pink or lilac or some other color typically associated with female gender. Disappointed that my feet don't fit this very pretty and well made boot. I would highly recommend it to others though.

Cool Rain Boots - I really love my red rain boots. I live in a cold wet climate and they are perfect to wear so that my dress shoes don't get messed up. The "Hunter" brand is the "it" rain boot and I feel very "European" when I wear them.

These boots are so cute! I went with the light blue ones, but I kind of wish I would have stuck to a more neutral color so I could get more wear out of them. They are super cute though, and perfect for rainy or snowy weather.

Perfect funky rain boots - Zappos is always amazingly quick! It's been raining in Southern Cali and it was a perfect excuse to order these boots. Thank you for the rain. I got to test these out and they were perfect! Heads turned! I would love to get other colors. However, they are not available in my size. They run big (thanks to the reviews), so I ordered a smaller size and worked out great!

Red hot and light weight - I love these boots!!!! I already had them in pink and decided to get them in red along with the fleece socks. Although the first red pair I got had a lot of scratches on them, so I returned them right away and got another pair. Thanks to Zappos great customer service I got my 2nd pair in a couple of days. There were only a couple of scratches on the 2nd pair. If you have scratches on them just take a warm cloth and wipe them down. You can also use pledge or another furniture polish to get the scratches out.

The perfect shoe - I live in NYC and I literally wear my Hunter boots rain or shine. They look amazing and I can walk for a million miles no problem (the roominess allows for a gel insole and I'm invincible) I wear and 8.5 and bought an 8 then added gel insoles. I recommend anyone planning to really walk forever do the same.

Slogging fashionably - Bought these because I needed boots for running around in puddles and snow AND didn't want to sacrifice hipster fashion... both needs are fulfilled. I love them. You can wear them through anything, and they almost look better with a bit of muck on them. Definitely chic, too- I have no problems wearing these through campus or downtown! I usually wear a 9 or 9 and a half and ordered an 8, which fits perfectly.

Hunter Original Rain Boots - Fashion forward despite being rain boots -- very chic looking and keeps my toes dry. I wear 7.5 which equal to 38UK - I think 37UK would have fit just fine but I didn't bother returning since the calf width fit mines perfectly.

Awesome boots! I just received my hunter boots (black) and love them!!! They're so cute and comfortable. I read in other reviews that they're heavy, but I really didn't find that at all. My only complaint is that I spent so much on rain boots. I might return them for that reason, but at the same time, I know I'll have them forever, so I'm not sure. I normally wear a size 8 and I got a 7.5 They fit great and I have room to wear bigger socks or the fleece Hunter socks if I ever feel like paying the money for them. They're so cute though and they're timeless!

Thank you Zappos! 1st off, I can't say how completely impressed I was with the shipping time. I ordered these boots on Saturday night and they came this (Monday) morning (even on a holiday MLK). WOW- talk about some fast shipping! I really like my boots and am happy that I ordered the 37. I am usually a 7/7.5 in boots, but definitely needed the 37 (it says fits a size 6 on the drop down). I tried these on in a store which helped make my decision. I bought these in navy with the cream wellie socks (must have!). I thought they'd be over-priced, but I found that they do make the boot fit really well and provide a good deal more comfort. A+ customer satisfaction!

Hunter Rain Boots - I currently own 3 pairs of Hunter Rain Boots and love, love, love them - rain or shine. They are the perfect new accessory this season as every season. I am a size 8.5 or 9 ladies, but bought a size 7 and they fit amazing compared to my first pair size 8...

Hunter original size 9 - I ordered size 9 and I'm usually size 9 and a half to ten. The shoes fit pretty well (were a little roomy for me), and look great. I was able to break it in for a couple of hours with no blisters or anything. Luckily my calves are just the perfect size to tuck in my jeans and fit comfortably inside. However if you have runner's calves you might want try on two sizes. Thanks Zappos, for the quick and easy delivery!
