These are the ultimate rain boots! I got them in brown. They look great with jeans and not at all "clunky" and because they are matte finish, not really like rain boots. Worn with the Hunter socks your feet will stay warm and dry. We go to football games in Mississippi. If it has rained, it can get real muddy. My Hunter boots look stylish and have good treads for slip-proof walking.

I am 5'8" with a 34 inch inseam. I have been looking for rain boots for a very long time and they have been too wide and too short. I decided to buy the Hunter Orginals because of the height and width, along with the brand name being well recommended. A lot of people have been writing about going down a size because they run big. They do run big, but with the Hunter socks they fit perfect. If Hunter had half sizes that would be perfect. Either way I love the boot and the style. Perfect for snow and rain while still trying to be fashion forward.

Zappos is great. They expedited my shipping and I received the product overnight at no extra cost. Will definitely shop here again.

Okay, so I told my husband that I wanted more Hunter Boots for Christmas, so he purchased 3 pair for me. Pumpkin, Graphite & Navy. I loved the Pumpkin color, but they had a really strong rubber odor so I sent those back. Graphite Gloss was really nice, but the color looked very similar to the chocolate pair I already own. The navy was perfect, so I kept those. They actually feel softer and more pliable then the original chocolate pair I have. I love the way they look with skinny jeans and a heavy wool knit turtleneck sweater. I think a green pair would be another great addition, don't you? Buy these boots, you'll be so happy you did!

Not only are these boots great for the rain, and snow, but they look really good. They are really comfortable. You might want to wear thick socks with them, your feet might get cold. At first I was indecisive about what color to buy, I went with the Hunter green. I'm glad I did. I love my Hunter boots.

I love my Hunter boots! I have a really high instep and boots are a thorn in my flesh, especially when they don't have a zipper. But I went for it anyway, and no problem. They slip right on, they are comfortable, not too heavy and look cool to boot. Excuse the pun.

The Hunter boots are excellent. They arrived on schedule. They were a Christmas gift for my daughter and she loves them. The price on Zappos was slightly better than other online retailers and Nordstrom stores so I'm happy with my purchase!

I bought these for my wife for Christmas and she loved them. Zappos rules! They had them to me in a matter of days! Hiyaaa!

I love these boots. The color is great and they look very stylish with skirts and tights. The calf is a little snug and I can\'t fit thick knee-socks or pants inside. There is no give in the material so you will have to measure up. These boots have great traction although I haven\'t tried them in icy conditions. Zappos was great about returning my first pair after I found small puncture marks in the leg. I was emailed when this boot became available. My first pair did not have any wax but this pair did and came out with some scrubbing. \r\n\r\n

I love my boots! They do run a tad large, so be aware (or wear with thick socks). Again, another satisfied purchase from Zappos. You rock!

These boots were perfect for my girlfriend. She loved them. I ended up going with Yellow, and they were perfect. She has always wanted yellow rain boots, and these ended up being the best choice for that wish.

Very comfortable and much better fitting in the heel than other rain boots. You could go down a size if you like your fit fairly snug and are wearing standard socks. However if you plan to wear with the Hunter Welly socks and tucked in jeans, you might want to consider staying at your typical size, as it adds a fair amount of bulk not only in the foot, but also in the calves. I ordered both sizes and compared, both with and without the welly socks. For comfort, I decided to stay true-to-size, as I know that I will be wearing my jeans tucked in.

I love these boots! I am normally a size 7.5, so I ordered a 7 and an 8. I kept the size 7. I found the original to be more fitted in the calf than the glossy version. I just got the socks today, so I'm looking forward to wearing these more this winter.

Very comfortable and warmer than I expected. The tall boots won't really fit over your jeans unless your legs are really skinny or have fairly tight pants such as I do, my winter Polartec riding breeches, and you put your socks over your pants. Or wearing tights works well. Plenty of room for heavier socks. They are fully waterproof and I bought a pair for my daughter.

Very stylish rain boots. Great in the snow also if the temperature is above freezing. I need the fleece socks for the colder temps. Still trying to find the cream or lavender socks. Really great boots. True to size.

I know there's a lot of mixed reviews regarding the fitting and sizing of the Original Hunters, so hopefully this will help for some of you. My calves measured 14.2 inches. Some reviews said I'll fit the originals, some said I wouldn't. Well, I took the chance and they fit with plenty of space to tuck in pants. Most of all, if I had purchased the Huntress Boots, I would have looked retarded because they'd be huge. I'm not sure if each pair is different but mine definitely works for me. I normally wear a size 6.5 to 7 so I purchased the 6. Honestly, I think the 5 may have fit better but I do want space for the fleece liners.

I love these boots! They are definitely tall. I'm only 5'3''. They still don't hit my knee cap. The lining is a must!

These are great looking boots that are super comfortable and have excellent functionality. Although, I don't get much rain where I live. I use these boots for gardening and its perfect. I saw someone wearing these boots on the metro in NY and had to have them myself. Best boots I've ever bought. They do run half a size large so make note of that before placing your order.

I love my Hunter boots! Be sure when ordering to notice the UK size equivalents. Do not order your normal US size or they will not fit! Mine are true to size and roomy enough to wear with the Hunter liners or with boot socks and tights. They are totally waterproof and great for rainy days.

Love these boots! They fit great as long as you follow the sizing guidelines and order a size smaller than you normally wear. I wear a 9 1/2 to 10 and I ordered the 9 in red. There's plenty of room for a thick pair of cotton socks or the fleece Welly socks that are sold to go with the boots. I can even get my skinny jeans tucked in with the Welly socks on. Very cute. The other thing I liked about these Wellies is the fit of the shoe part of the boot, very well-shaped to the foot. Many of the "big box" wellies I tried on were huge in the foot area. Very clunky and masculine looking. Not cute when you wear a size 10 shoe. The Hunters are shaped to fit and the shaft is nice and tall ( I am 5'9"). Just be sure to tuck in your jeans or wear tall socks as the rubber boot alone can make your legs pretty sweaty, ewww. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. I have gotten many compliments on these Hunters.

Really love these boots. I wear a 7 1/2 or an 8 in all shoes so I ordered the women\'s 8 in this shoe. They fit very well with a little thicker sock. I did not find them to be terribly tight in the calves like I read in other reviews. They go great with leggings or any jeans. Sometimes they are a little hard to get off.
