These boots are awesome! The only thing I would suggest is for people that are half shoe sizes (example 8.5) I would go down a size (example 8). The only way I knew to order the correct size for myself is due to the people posting their reviews on here, so thank you!

Love my Navy Hunter Originals! I ordered the Originals and the Huntress styles in Women’s 8. I normally wear an 8.5. I found the Originals fit great with room to spare for a tube sock or heavier sock. The Huntress does have extra room in the calf, but also fit more sloshy in the ankle and foot, making it hard to walk, as they are much bigger than the Originals. I was really worried about the calf sizing, but found my 14" calf fit in fine with room to spare with my jeans tucked in. They still left movement room (not a suctioned to skin fit as some rain boots can do). The Huntress boot left my jeans looking sloppy tucked in because the calf was sooo much larger than the Originals. Keeping the Originals!!! & Hoping they will get the chalky white film soon for that worn in look! Hope it rains soon!!! If you are a half size, make sure you size down as I did!!! Always buy Zappos! I just got these in size 37-Women's 6. I'm normally a 6.5. They fit perfect with a pair of socks, but I can't see me wearing them with the fleece lining. There is just not enough room. And I will barely have enough room for tucking in jeans...so I will probably order my next pair as a size 7 to see how they fit. They are super cushy compared to some other rain boots I have, which I love! So I can't wait to wear these! I'm excited for the rain now.

I absolutely love my Hunter boots (black). They were lifesavers this year when we had 4+ feet of snow - I pretty much wore them all winter long! With the welly socks (red) they were better than winter boots because they protect you from moisture and you can never mess then up. My only gripe is the size - I got them as a gift and although my boyfriend was very careful to order my size (women's 9), since Hunter calls that a men's 8, they were at least one size too big. The good news is they allow me to wear another pair of socks under the wellies so I don't have to wash them as often, but it would be nice if they fit, especially now that we're getting into the spring when I'll be wearing them without wellies. Remember when ordering that men's sizes are traditionally 2 sizes smaller than women's and place your order based on the right men's size, not the women's.

I love them. They are so cute and great quality. I ordered the Chinesr Laundry one which look similar but not as good in terms of quality. I ended up getting Hunter\\\'s in green. You have to order a size down. I wear them with above the knee socks and mini skirt, sexy look.

I put off buying these for so long due to the high price. But then we had a week of solid rain and I had to invest; I'm so grateful I did. The boots are much more comfortable than they look; they are soft, sturdy, thick rubber and well formed to the foot (even my high arches). They are warm, substantial, and make you suddenly invulnerable to the pesky, endless rain. A necessity for urban life.

These are great boots. I wish they ran a little narrower but with a comfortable sock they are fine. Love the color, very classic.

These boots are the best! My shoe size varies between 8.5 and 9.5 depending on the shoe so I ordered the Mens Size 8/Women's size 9 because I've heard these run a little big. They fit perfectly! Enough room for a thick sock, but very comfortable without any socks too. Good treads, not slippery and totally water-proof. The top of the boot is a bit snug - and I have fairly narrow calves, so if your calves are really wide you might want to go with the shorter boot.

These boots are great, but more importantly Zappos customer service was amazing. I ended up getting a gift card after purchasing these boots, and they totally credited my CC acct with the amount of the gift card, HASSLE free. But more specifically to the boots. They are SO comfortable to walk in. I actually had the Burberry boots and they were really clunky and hard to walk in. These boots were designed to be walked in! Perfect city wear!

After spending a great deal of time just trying to find a pair of these boots in my size, I was finally able to buy them. I typically wear a size 8.5, and after doing my research and reading hundreds of reviews, I ordered a size 8. They fit perfectly- with a little extra room for thicker socks!!! I bought the Navy color in the Original Hunter- they are a really deep, blue/gray/black color with a touch of glossiness to them and I didn't have any trouble with any of the white blossoming on them, upon taking them out of the box. In fact they were pristine, I was so happy!!! I was worried that they might be too tight in the calf after reading some of the reviews (my calves are average), but I had no problems with that either. I am 5'7" and they come to just below my knee, so that might be problematic for someone shorter. I am truly happy with these boots & can't wait for a rainy day to test drive them. Zappos also upgraded my shipping at no extra charge, so I got them incredibly fast. Thanks Zappos, another great purchase!!!

Love these boots! I got them after the heavy snow, knowing that we would be in for a muddy spring. The first day I had them I walked 4 miles through snow and slush and the boots were perfectly comfortable. They are narrow at the top, so if you have wide calves, the shorter boots might be better.

I cannot say enough great things about this boot. I live in L.A. where it does not rain too often, but this past winter we had a particularly bad rainy season and the third time I found my loafers soaked I got on Zappos and ordered these. They arrived within 24 hours and I did not put a rush on them!! What an incredible surprise to find them on my doorstep the very next day. I put them to use immediately as it continued to rain and rain and rain throughout the months of January and February. Definitely got my money's worth and every single time I wear them I get compliments. I am a true 7 but usually buy boots in 7.5 for thicker socks. Because people reported these run big, I stuck with the 7 and am very happy with my choice. I don't need the sock liners (this is LA, after all), but even with my thickest socks the 7 suits me fine. I have the Hunter green, but I would not rule out buying more colors in the future. Love them!!

Order a half size down. These boots are great - keep your feet dry and are stylish. Ordering with Zappos was extremely convenient and order arrived before I expected.

I purchased these boots to do wet and/or muddy ranch work, fixing water gaps where you are standing in a foot of running water etc. They are waterproof and comfortable, high enough to keep feet dry. I wear 7 1/2, ordered womens 6, still enough room to double up socks to help keep feet warm in cold running water. Love them!

I love these boots! I got them just in time for the rain. They fit comfortably over my jeans or under my yoga pants. They are comfortable and the size was true to its listing.

Having gone to school in southern California before moving to Washington, DC, I didn't own a proper pair of rain boots. Before the snowpocalypse hit us in February, I realized that this was a problem and knew that I would have to get some to be able to even think about leaving the house with two feet of snow on the ground (I have a puppy who needs walking, no matter how unpleasant the weather may be). I turned to Zappos, of course, and ordered my Hunter rain boots and had them on my doorstep in two days. They fit true to size, and even with the fleece inserts I got (HUGE help, by the way), they are the ideal fit. I know that they will last me a long time, and when they do eventually need to be retired, I will order another pair.

I tried on my girlfriend’s Hunter boots, she owns a size 8. I am usually a 7.5/8 and thought that I could get away with a 7. I ordered a 6 just in case and they fit just right. They are super comfortable and wish for rain so I could wear them... Great Boots!

Great boot - I was afraid this boot would be too large if I ordered my regular size. I tried them on and yes they are very roomy. I place in an insole because there is NO support. That took up lots of the room. They are not warm. Now I wear one heavy or two lighter socks. They fit me just right. I love the way they look, so classic. I'm sure I will have them for many, many years. They also look great with so many different outfits.

I couldn't find the colored boots I wanted at any store. I was told that they were sold out through out the company! Went to Zappos.com and there they were. The color I wanted and the size I asked for.My only complaint would be...I wish I would of asked how the sizes run. I am normally a size 8 and would of rather had the size 7 as they run very large.

I love my new Hunter boots! I ordered the Merlot and was expecting them to be a brownish rich red based on the reviews but I find them to be more of a "purple-wine-red" color. I am in between and 8 1/2 and a 9 in shoe size and wear both sizes depending on the shoe, so I decided to go with the 9 and thought they were too big at first. Then I tried on an 8 1/2 at the store and my feet felt very squished in them. I decided to keep the 9 and have worn them several times with no problems. I love the tallness of them. They definitely keep me feeling fashionable on those rainy days!

I had been lusting after Hunter wellies for about three years before I finally bought a pair, several months after my trusty Target boots had bitten the dust. Like many people, I was worried about my calves not fitting into the boots/not being able to get my feet back out after putting them on. I'm 5'4" and weigh about 145lbs. My calves are about 14.5" around and I was able to easily slip my feet in and out. Moreover, I was able to tuck my Joe's Visionaire jeans (a relatively loose bootcut) into them (though I will admit they did that pooling thing at the top of the boots). I will be acquiring a pair of skinny jeans specifically to wear with my boots. Until then, I'll pair them with leggings or tights. I love the classic styling of the boots and can't wait to wear them on the next rainy, muddy day we have here! I will advise that I wear a 6.5 and ordered down to a 6, and they fit perfectly. If anything, they are still a little roomy.

I ordered these Hunter boots yesterday after discovering one of my dogs had eaten my favorite wellies. They arrived this afternoon and are perfect. I normally wear a size 7 and ordered down to a size 6. The fit is just right. I am 5’4” and these fit me just below the knee. Perfect for life here and weather here. I really like Hunters. I’ve tried wellies of all sorts (Jeffrey Campbell, Tretorn) and these are very lightweight and they fit very well. However, DO NOT ORDER A SIZE DOWN. Like many others, I found myself going a size up (I’m usually a 7 and ended up getting an 8) to make room for pants/socks/toes.

Comfortable, stylish, classic, the perfect rain boot! I read all the customer reviews and chose to order 1/2 size down from my usual size and they fit perfectly. I usually wear and 7 1/2 to 8, I ordered a 7.

Excellent service, had to exchange for one size larger and no problems whatsoever. Would recommend if between sizes to order up a size.
