The Hunter Boots I purchased from Zappos arrived much quicker than expected. They appear to be well constructed, the fit is great, and they are extremely comfortable. They are a bit small in the calf, and I’m an average sized woman, so if you want to tuck in your jeans, you might consider a wider calf size.

Love them! Work well in rain and snow and easy to walk in. Roomy enough to tuck pants into.

Fits okay, a little roomy for my narrow feet, but it works. Will just wear thick socks. A little bulky and still too shiny for my taste still, but it will serve a purpose for those slushy snowy days and really bad rainstorms.

Taking the other reviews into account, I ordered a size down (size 6). They fit great. And they’re not too tall for me either, which was a pleasant surprise. I fretted over whether I should order the original Hunters of the Huntress. There weren’t too many color choices in stock for my size, but I am VERY happy with the merlot color. I ordered these on Thursday, and they arrived by lunchtime on Friday, right before the huge snowstorm hit! Thanks Zappos, for the amazingly quick service. I’m looking forward to playing in the snow!

Great look for my daughter! They are generous in the width and true to size in the length. They are comfortable and easy to wear with anything in the rain!

Excellent boot - glad I purchased these when I did. We’ve had nothing but non-stop rain, sleet and snow for the past 2 months and these boots have been through it all. They are a true fit, keep my feet and legs warm and I’ve never slipped or fallen while wearing these. Yaktracks (ice grippers) also work well with these boots. They have a true function and form and look extremely stylish, too. If you’re interested in these and are shying away because of the cost I can honestly say not to worry because they’re worth every penny!!

My point in buying these shoes were to get a pair of waterproof (around here that means snow, rain, slush, and mud) boots that will last forever. These are perfect. My feet got quite cold in the snow, but I never spend much time out anyways, so that was not a problem. Also, they’re just a little awkward to walk around in - they don’t give as much as other boots or shoes. Otherwise, absolutely no complaints. They look great, perform great. Important: I wear 9.5, but the 9 fit perfectly.

I love my yellow Hunter boots. I ordered them on a Thursday and I received them on the following Tuesday! I was really surprised at the fast free shipping, most times once the shipping is free it takes forever to come but with Zappos it was great! The only problem with those boots are the calf part, if you are a curvy woman it maybe a little tight at the top! Mine is a little tight, but as time went by, they started to stretch, but I cannot tuck thick pants into them because it gets really tight!

These boots are super comfy, even on really long walks, have great traction in the rain and mud, and are absolutely adorable with your favorite jeans tucked into them! I love these boots, the only thing I’d change is I’d make them thicker. When you step in those cold puddles, your feet get pretty cold. I keep meaning to order a pair of those Hunter fleece knee liners. They look fabulous. Right now I’m wearing 2 pairs of Smartwool ski socks with them. I would definitely order them again, maybe in aubergine.

I love my Hunters! I was convinced the women's 8 was too big until I tried a 7 and realized that those were a little snug, so I kept the 8s. I double up on socks. They are super comfortable!

I love my Hunters! I have the navy (I ordered both the glossy graphite and the merlot - the merlot was much more brown than red). I usually wear a size 9 or 9.5, so I originally ordered an 8 due to other reviews, but they were too small in the foot. I then ordered a 9, but my toe slightly touched the end of the shoe, so I ended up with a size 10. The 20 fit perfectly - I wear two pairs of socks, which also helps with warmth. Highly recommend them, and Zappos.

Worth every penny! There's a reason these Wellies have their excellent reputation. I wear these to do SERIOUSLY muddy yard work, construction on our remodel, and every other dirty job I have. Then I simply hose them off to wear with skirts or jeans. They are very versatile, perfectly comfortable, and practically indestructible! I love them!

The Hunter boots fit as everyone stated, about a half size smaller than the American size listed. I ordered 2 pair for 2 children, one fit perfectly and the other had to be exchanged. The return systems is a breeze, and the replacement boots were here in 1 day! Excellent service!

I ordered these boots for my daughter for her Birthday. We could not find any in the brick and morter stores, all sold out. It was suggested by a sales person at a local department store to try Zappos, which we did. They were temporarily out of stock but sent us an email within 2 weeks alerting us they were back in stock. I immediately ordered them, needless to say my daughter was very happy, they were everything she was expecting. Zappos customer service was very pleasant and accommodating. I highly recommend them. I bought the Hunter boots for my 37 year old daughter who works in a stylish type job. She loves fashion. She loves these boots. I have seen her wearing them numerous times since she got them at Christmas. She changes them up with different wellie sock cuffs that fold over the top. She has a wellie coin purse that attaches on them as well. She tells me they are very comfortable and she couldn't be happier! Wow, couldn't ask for more than that!

My daughter wanted the Hunter boots for Christmas and the department stores couldn\'t locate a pair in her size. A salesperson recommended we try Zappos. I am very pleased with my Original Hunter boots. I was worried they would be too big or too small since I've read a lot about their sizes not being true to form, so this is what I know. I wear a 7 1/2(US) and the size 7 fits perfectly. At first I thought they were a tad loose, but once I added the Hunter fleece socks + my regular socks they fit snug and perfect and without the fleece sock it fits very well. A bit loose in the heel, but not enough to care. The boots are very comfortable to walk in all day (similar to Converse tennis shoe comfort).

Zappos really delivers what it promises. The Hunter boots I purchased as a gift for my daughter arrived in a timely manner. They were true to the site description. I also appreciated the timely notification I received; initially this product was sold out. I indicated my desire to be notified of its replenishment. Love it! These are fantastic boots! Wearing them in the rain is just one of many opportunities to use these! I love them for working in the yard, gardening, walking the dog and "emergency" runs to the mailbox. I keep them right by my door. Also, another great use has been to go to my friends farm and see the horses. While these are not steel toe, or paddock boots, they are excellent for walking through muck and mud. You just hose 'em off at the end of the day. My kids have the matching wellies socks, super. Wish Zappos would bring them in for the grown ups, too! I tried the "shiny" ones first, but prefer these.

I've had a pair of these for a few years now and my wife has been envious since my purchase. I bought her a pair for Christmas and she absolutely loves them. Since getting them, she has struck a fun balance wearing them both practically and fashionably. I did take note of the other reviewers here claiming the boots run a size larger than your foot size. It was true for myself and my wife. She's also added the Hunter Welly socks to the mix and dropping down a size did not effect the fit for her. These are great boots, from a great company.
