I adore these boots so much! I bought them to contend with that massive snowfall we had in NYC lately. I was a bit apprehensive that these wouldn't be nearly warm enough to double as a winter boot, but a pair of woolen socks takes care of that nicely! These look so sleek and svelte, while keeping my feet completely dry AND warm in the crazy NYC winter, I am SO completely sold on them. Love them, so much!

Love my boots and also the liner! Spent a very cold snowy day in NYC and my feet were dry and toasty the entire time. Quite stylish, too. They are fitted at the calf so don't plan on wearing any pants inside them. Leggings or tights are all that will work.

I bought two pairs for two difference people. They loved them. One, however, is having a hard time with the fit because she did not try them on at the store with the liners, so they are a bit tight. I would recommend that if you plan to wear them with the liners, you try them on that way.

I love Zappos! I ordered these boots late on Wednesday, and they arrived the next day to my delight. The boots fit me just right; I'm a 6.5, so I ordered them in UK 4. I can't wait to go out and jump in puddles. :]

Great boots! The only problem I had was trying to settle on a color. I went with versatile navy, and I am pleased with the color and fit. I wear a 7, ordered a 7, and they fit well. I also purchased a pair of Hunter welly socks, and the boots fit great with the additional layer. Without the liner, there is a bit more wiggle room, but I do not like any boot to fit snug on my foot. Love the fit on my calf (slim), and I am able to tuck slim & straight fit jeans just fine. I am cold bodied and don't think the liner will keep my feet warm enough on really cold days or out in the snow for a while; however, I have never owned a pair of shoes that were perfect for every situation 365 days a year. Great purchase, and Zappos is the best!

I just received my new black Hunters today. I am very pleased with them and thought I'd share my thoughts on the sizing. Having read what everyone else said (they run large, the calves run tight) I ordered a 9, even though I wear anything from an 8.5 to a 9 normally, depending on the shoe. I would describe my calves as shapely, bigger than average, but not grotesquely big; I can wear other boots with no problem but I anticipated a problem with the Hunters being tight in the calf based on other reviews. I was right: the boots fit perfectly in the calf area and are big in the ankle and foot area. This means I can't tuck in jeans, but at least I can still wear them with leggings or tights. They look nice, too, even in a size 9. I was worried the extra room in the foot area (and it really is like an entire size difference) would be a problem, but since they fit so well in the calf, they don't move around at all. I will put some gel supports in to take up a little room, and I'll be good to go. If your calves aren't super skinny, you may want to order your true size.

I absolutely love these boots. Just a little big, but perfect for thermal socks. We had record breaking snowfall in VA and they helped me get around. Stylish too! Zappos shipping and customer service is the best!

I love these boots! They are the perfect treat for a rainy day. The aubergine color is lovely - dark enough to go with many outfits and not stand out, but when you see them up close, the purple hue is so chic. I usually wear a 7 or 7 in US shoes and an 8 in running shoes. I purchased a 6M/7F and am very happy with the fit. Still room for welly socks! My skinny jeans tuck right in with no problems. Best of all, my feet stay dry and warm on gray, rainy days.

One word: love. I have big calves, but I just make it with the Original. I've read girls should order the men's size, but I didn't need to resort to that. The Huntress style was too roomy. Glad the original makes it. I'm usually a size 7 - 8 or 8.5 and the 7 (UK size 6) felt plenty roomy for my toe-sies! I like the comfort. I also appreciate the clean style of them, despite that they are rugged enough for the NYC winter slushy snow weather. Been searching for a great winter commuter boot and I fell in love with these once I tried them on. Finally my search is over, and now I'm already wanting them in another color!

I've wanted these boots forever and finally purchased them for myself for my birthday. I have to say, these exceeded my expectations. I was expecting something that didn't have much support, but I have worn these several times for multiple hours, and they are quite comfortable. I have a high arch and shoes don't provide enough support. Regarding the size, I usually take a size 7 ladies. I sized down and purchased the 38 (US woman's size 7). There is still enough room to wear thicker winter socks. However, my foot is a bit narrow. The only thing that disappoints me about this Wellie is the "Made in China" sticker that was placed inside the boots. With the Hunter heritage (and the price tag) I was not expecting these boots to be Made in China. By the way, Navy is a super versatile color.

I love these boots. They are stylish and keep the rain/snow out. They can be cold though so I recommend Welly socks to go with them. Shipping was super fast.

I usually wear a 6.5-7 in shoes and ordered a size 6 and they fit perfectly! A size 7 would probably be better for thicker socks but I don't need thick socks so it's not an issue. As a college student, these will help a lot with trekking through puddles. Zappos is great--I ordered these late at night and got them the next morning, which happened to be Christmas Eve. What a great surprise! Thank you!

I loved these boots; however, I have athletic calves and these boots were too tight. Overall they were great. So sad to have to return them; however, I hope to order the Huntress boots as they allow you to choose a bigger shaft size.

I was just beginning to think that these boots were impractical when the recent rains hit. Now, I consider these boots a godsend for walking the dog, going to school, and just getting around. No worrying about puddles anymore! I'm glad that I didn't go for the high gloss as the basic black works goes with almost everything.

I love these boots! I've been wanting a pair for a long time and finally made my purchase. I bought the original in black and I wear an 8 1/2 in shoes and a 9 in boots and I purchased the 8's and they fit perfect, even with a thicker sock. And of course, Zappos rocks!

These boots are so awesome. The do run a bit large. I wear a 5 and it's more like a 5.5, but they are very comfy and work great for rainy/wet days here at our farm. I just ordered the Welly socks for colder weather, and look forward to trying them!

Well first off, these are super stylish! It's not even wet or raining and I am wearing them. Secondly, I read some reviews about the sizing and some people said that the boots run about a half size big. I ordered an 8 and tried on a 7½ at a retailer; the 7½ squashed my toes and the 8 fits perfectly! Beautiful boot... I was hesitant to pay so much for rubber boots, but I am so glad I did.

I bought these boots for my daughter-in-law in Chicago. She tells me they are absolutely first rate.

I got original (no gloss) black cause I'd actually be “using” them, walking around at my grandparents and school is slushy and grody. Beige and black alligator are my other two favorites and would go with everything. Zappos was the best place to get them when I looked. And I looked everywhere! Beware because they are 100% real rubber so the gloss will eventually fade and they wear like natural rubber. Get big thick comfy socks, or Hunter's welly socks if you don't have big socks. Oh! If you want to wear baggier jeans get the Huntress. I got regular. I'm usually in tights or leggings in winter but my skinny jeans fit too. I normally wear 6 1/2 or 7 but I got size 6 US Women's. They fit great and are comfortably snug when I wear fleece socks or my hiking wool socks. I had to investigate hardcore before I got them and they're so worth it and I get compliments ALL the time/people harassing me and asking me literally everything you could ask about a boot. I got attacked at Von Maur because people thought VM had them and they thought I was trying them on.100% perfect for the slushy and unpredictable IA winters.

Loved the boot. Too large around heel area. Advised by other Hunter fans it should fit snugly, otherwise it will rub the back of the heel, as your foot moves up and down the boot slops about. I wear a 9 normally, but will get an 8. I love how it comes up just below knee cap. It is a tall boot. Also is slim fitting in calf, but that works for me.

After reading the sizing reviews of others, I decided to go with my European shoe size versus my U.S. shoe size and the boots fit perfectly! They're super comfy (zero breaking in period), easy to slip on and off and even though I'm on the shorter side (5'2"), I think they fit great. The boots hit just below my knees and are comfortable to walk in, sit down in, and are overall, just awesome! I've been wearing them in the freezing rain and snow of Chicago and they've worked out great (although, if you're toes tend to get cold, you might want to invest in a pair of thick socks with these)!

These are great boots, but they are not great on ice. I have learned that you might need a sock with the welly if you do not have leggings on or super tight pants. The sock will prevent it from rubbing on your leg. I am a size 7¾ and got the 38 after going back and forth between the 37 and 38. 37 is definitely too small! I love the subtle color of the aubergine, you can spice it up with a welly!

Love this boot! Well worth the money. I am a 6½, ordered a 7. Color (iris) is exactly as pictured.
