Great Boot---Excellent Service - Thank you Zappos, my Hunter boots are the BEST! Because I read a customer review stating going to the mens site made no difference regarding size, I went there as I wanted the color green, which was not available in the womens selection. My boots arrived the next day!

Investment - I can walk through anything: slush, rain, salt, and dirt (thanks, Chicago). I normally wear a 9 and ordered an 8. I still have plenty of room for a pair of thick socks. I could go all day in these except I (sadly) have to change shoes for work. No, they don't breathe, so your feet may get sweaty, but it's better than your feet being soaking wet from leaky shoes and sub-zero precipitation.

Great Fit For Maine USA Weather - This winter has been rough with the snow and these wellies have done the trick. Great comfort and style. My names Hunter, so I had to have the best and I am also from the Thornhill area where the boots are made… but I'm not biased! Tee Hee!

Love 'em - I've been wanting these for awhile and finally decided to go for it. Where I live it's not cold so much as rainy and muddy and I'm sick of my pants being soaked up to my knees when I leave my house. Hunter wellies look cooler than the standard "crawfish waders" and still get the job done!

Perfect Winter Companion - These boots are an excellent addition to your winter wardrobe. They are not slippery, they are not thick and uncomfortable, and with these, you don't have to choose comfort over look; they deliver both. Not only do they look sharp, but they definitely protect you on those wet, slippery snow days. Also, they don't make your feet get cold. The only thing I would recommend is to wear them with thick socks. Great purchase and investment. I'm very happy I got them.

The construction appears to be quite good. I'm a solid 8.5 (US) size or 39 (European), and I'm glad I took the advice of others to order a 7 and the fleece liners (keeps the boots interior clean and my foot has a fast and smooth entry). These boots come right up to my knee and stay on when prying my foot out of mud.

Great boot but tricky sizing - I love my Hunter boots! The day after they arrived it snowed and they were perfect for navigating all the slush in the streets. They feel a 1/2 size larger than marked, even with thick socks on, but they are tight at the calf so I didn't want to order a size down. If you are using them as winter boots know that your feet will get cold since they are unlined. I didn't buy the liner socks they sell; any pair of thick knit knee high socks should work just as fine. I bought these boots in red and they were a little less vibrant that I expected but they still look great. I even wear them when there is no rain with leggings and a long sweater. They are heavier than other wellies so it takes a bit to get use to walking in, but once you have the knack you should be good to go!

Great boot and great service - I wore this boot for the first time this morning and it worked fine. It is a little hard to pull on but it fit fine over socks. I bought a 10 which is the same size I wear in a loafer and 1 size smaller than what I wear in a regular lace up shoe. The service from Zappos was great. Free one day air is a true luxury. I am going to move some of my other internet shoe purchases over to Zappos.

Love These Boots - This boot is GREAT! The fit as the others have said is about a size bigger than marked. I wear two pair of socks and that takes care of the fit. I think one pair of heavy weight socks would also work. I usually tuck my pants into the cuffs of the socks and that helps eliminate the mushroom pants look. I have gotten numerous comments on these boots and have found them to be very comfortable even when worn all day. The wax used in the manufacture of the boots causes a whitish look to the boot especially in the stress points created when putting them on or taking them off but these can be removed with a damp rag. I would certainly purchase these boots again. And as usual, Zappos has done themselves proud with great and fast customer service.

Well made, true to size. Well made, and size is perfect with thick socks. Much better arch support than I expected in a boot like this.

Great boots, I love how tall and practical they are. I bought the green and I think the color is just gorgeous. I have thin legs so I can comfortably fit jeans inside the boots but I think if you have large calves they would be way too tight.

Love them! These boots are amazing! I love their simplicity and classic styling coupled with comfort and utility. I walked around NYC in them all day during a storm and felt dry and comfortable. I highly recommend them!

Great pair of rain boots! I've always wanted a pair of Hunter wellies, but I was always leery of ordering from overseas and paying a high shipping cost. No problem here! Initially I was worried because they fit a little snug in the calf, but they have plenty of room in the toe and the width is just right for my feet. Lucky for me, because it's been absolutely POURING out here all weekend, but my feet, including my pant legs & socks, have stayed bone dry the whole time. And I've been getting compliments left and right!

Hunter Purchase - Quick service, exact size, excellent quality!

I wear a US men's 10.5 and ordered the boots in a size 10 due to all the reviews that say they tend to run big. I found the opposite to be true, and have returned the boots in favor of 11s instead. I also found the calves of the boots to be much more snug than I expected, though still comfortable enough.

Very interesting boot. It is basically a rubber boot that keeps its shape, i.e. does not articulate well, but rather folds on itself at the joints. It isn't exactly comfortable but it absolutely gets the job done. Great rain and snow boot (as long as you keep warm with the Hunter boot inserts). The style is also very classic.

I love the look of Hunter boots. I got them in February 2010 and I have worn them somewhat since then. They still have a milky film on them, that I think is sort of weird. I am hoping that goes away with more wear. I do love the classic green. They are very England and very wintery. I will say the only bad thing about them, is that they are very skinny up top. I have very thin legs, with some calf muscle and it fits me just barely. I can only wear skinny skinny jeans with them.

These are definitely not distressed/worn out. They're a pretty shiny blue/green rubber. So not at all how they're pictured. That being said, they're super comfortable, and the best rain boots I've ever owned. Highly fashionable, so most people won't get it. If you care about that, they're not for you though. I pray for rain now so I can wear them.

The item I received wasn't worn in as the image shows. It was just plain flat Navy, which was fine. As someone who has very high arches and who walks aprox. 1 mile a day, these shoes did give me blisters on the tops of my feet when I wore them 3 days in a row. They did keep my feet dry though and seem to be well made.

I love these boots. I'm a size women's 9 so I got the men's equivalent because I specifically wanted the traditional olive green color and they didn't offer it in the women's selection - they fit perfectly. I have narrow feet and they are a great fit - I don't feel like I'm wearing a rubber boot. The only concern I would have is that they are quite snug at the top. I slim calves but they are still quite tight. You definitely can't slip them on quickly. You have to tuck your jeans into tight socks and put them on carefully so that they don't all bunch up at your knees. I was a little disappointed with that because I wanted them to be a fast solution to running out quickly in the rain - but it's a bit of a performance. Color's great and style is fabulous - exactly what I hoped for.

Classic wellington, but thin rubber and no lining. Definitely need thick socks.
