Sexy, comfy, perfect boot! I found these after a long and difficult search for the perfect boot. I wanted brown leather with minimum frill, a sturdy heel, a cushioned sole (for comfort), and a wide enough calf to accommodate skinny jeans. Check, check, check, check, and then some! These are so sexy, so comfortable; they fit my wide feet and jeans, and I get all sorts of compliments on them. At first I didn't like the lace-up look of the back, but I've grown to love it. My search is over! (I would recommend getting a half size larger than usual; I am a 6.5 but these fit perfectly in a 7.)

Great boots - First set of boots that actually fit my larger calves. Beautiful leather with a comfortable heel height. I'll be wearing these a lot this winter.

Sofft Tyla - The most comfortable boot I have ever worn. Is very wide in the calf (and I have big calves), but found it works ok since it makes it a cinch getting it over my jeans. Could walk all day in these and they look beautiful. I have wide feet and found the wide in this shoe works perfect. By far, worth every penny.

BEST EVER! I've been looking for boots like this for 2 years! Thank you Zappos! So totally comfortable; just wish they came in more colors, as I'd ordered another pair. Gorgeous color of caramel and fit my calves - - I'm thrilled!

Undecided - This is a gorgeous shoe and really comfortable, but the ankles are so loose that I can't decide what to do. It looks kind of baggy/lumpy. I do have large calves and found that this boot has a ton of room in the calves. I can still stick four fingers down between the calf and the boot. Usually I can't find a boot of this height that will contain my calves.

Sofft - Tyla - Sofft shoes - particularly the boots are extremely comfortable with very good support (a near excellent) and do well over time. I am very pleased with them.

These are great boots - I am really happy with the fit and shape of these boots. The leather is so soft, my feet were happy and comfortable, and I danced for hours in them with no blisters. I could walk forever in these boots. Would definitely recommend. I also have a 15 1/2" calf and they zipped up fine and even have a little give still. Would definitely recommend.

Great boot, but wide calf - LOVE these boots. So very comfy, but I think mine came with the size marked wrong. I ordered the 6.5 and the 7 and the 6.5s were bigger. Anyway, I'm keeping the 7s and getting the calves tapered on it. Thought the calves were bigger than the average boot (I'm not skinny). The alteration isn't cheap, but the boot was too beautiful and comfortable to send back!

Great boots - Beautiful and comfortable!

First time I could wear heels in Years!!! For the past several years, as shoes with heels have become very much in style (and the heels have kept getting higher) I kind of scoffed at how women were slaves to fashion, wearing shoes that are not optimal for our backs, our posture and our ability to walk. But I found these boots in a store and I thought (to my surprise) that they are so beautiful and so sexy that I had to try on a pair. They felt great immediately!! And I have to admit that they felt and looked sexy. SO I bought a pair in a very nice brown. Then, after wearing them once or twice and seeing how easily and comfortably I could walk in them, I bought a pair in black. Since then I have bought three other Sofft shoes with heels; one a black pump with a mary jane type strap, and then recently two patent leather sandals--and they are all great and comfortable and beautiful. So I have been "converted" to someone who wears heels, now. And at 5'3" this is nice for me to feel taller.

So Comfortable - These boots are incredible. I just got them last week, and I wore them to the mall walking around for about an hour or so and felt no discomfort. I have a bunion so most shoes tend to hurt my feet, but not these boots. They are stylish, comfortable and great quality. I couldn’t ask for a nicer boot. I ordered a 10 Wide and they fit perfectly, I have athletic calves and there is plenty of room. And Zappos is great; I ordered them on Wednesday and had them by Thursday. Will be purchasing more Sofft shoes.

Really great boot - I was skeptical about the comfort of these boots at first. All the reviews below claimed it would be amazing, and it is!! I have never worn heels because they are uncomfortable, but these boots are on par with my super comfy sneakers. Also, I have very thick calves and I was able to squeeze into these and stretch them out a little. They are so incredibly stylish I am in love with them!

BOO HOO! 7W. Beautiful boot. Wide shoe - fit fine, but regular shaft was not wide enough to zip over my 16" calf; short by 1 1/2". I was afraid of that, but gave it a shot anyway. Sofft, please make a wide width boot with a wide shaft. I am a Sofft ADDICT!

Luv, luv, luv - I truly luv these boots, it looks nice and classy and it is very comfortable. Once again, Zappos provide an excellent service... luv you guys!

Finally… the perfect boot - These are the perfect boot! The heel is a great height and with a bit of a platform, they don't feel too high. Because I have a borderline-wide foot, boots with a heel can be extremely uncomfortable. I bought the wide width boot which is very comfortable. Again, my calf is too wide for many boots, but these are perfect. Worth every penny!

Comfortable and pretty! Love these boots, they're very comfortable. They fit me in the calves and I usually can't zip tall boots up all the way. I've worn them all winter with skirts and have gotten a lot of compliments on them. This is a very high heel for me and even so, they feel so comfortable. And I have problem feet. I'm sad spring is here and I'll have to put them away! I wore the black suede all winter and just ordered brown leather for next fall. Love Sofft shoes.

The perfect boot - I LOVE THIS BOOT! I purchased the black leather boots first and they were so comfortable that I then purchased the caramel suede boots. I receive compliments each time I wear them. I hate to put them away for the new season. Hope they are in other colors next season.

2nd time was the charm! I initially purchased the black leather boot, which was too bulky, so I returned the first pair and bought the black suede instead. Perfect pair! So beautifully made, and the stitching in the back is very unique.

Great boots - I love these boots! They have been very comfortable from day one, great traction, very well made. I am athletic and have muscular calves-- these boots fit me perfectly. Only one problem: when I first tried them on, I noticed a significant lump under the ball of one foot. I reached under the insole to find a loose screw that had been glued under there. Needless to say, it was much more comfortable without that!

A great buy! I love these boots! They are comfortable, the construction is great, they look good, and they fit perfectly. I get compliments whenever I wear them, especially for the stitching detail in the back. The heel is a perfect height for work and school and I can wear them for 13 hours at a go and still have feet fit to march up and down stairs.

Best boots ever - I live in NYC and I walk everywhere. I wear my Frye boots a lot, and they are great, but they're not dressy. These are just as comfy and a lot sexier. The braided detail is feminine, the heel is updated, and they look great with short skirts and sweater dresses. I walked 40 blocks in them the first day out. They are TOTALLY worth the money. Also, I have wide feet and calves and they fit great.

Marvelously comfortable and pretty! Based on other reviewers' comments (thanks, everyone!), I ordered this in my regular 'comfy-walking-shoe' size of 9.5, not my 'dressy-shoe-size' of 9, and was thrilled with the fit and the comfort. A lightweight sock provides a perfect fit for me. The boot has a lovely soft leather shaft, and the only thing I might change is to be able to shrink the top a tiny bit (my "resting calf" measurement is 14.5", and "standing heeled calf" is 15"), but I've chosen these out of several other boots - Clarks Rhodes, Nine West Earnest, Ros Hommerson Hart - for an upcoming two-week trip to the UK, and I'm sure I'll be a happy traveler!

Many compliments & very comfy - Yea! Finally found boots that are very comfortable and nice looking all at the same time!
