Sofft Tyla - Excellent boot! Unbelievably comfortable for the stylish look of the boot. They are beautiful boots, but also wearable. Soft, padded footbed and flexible sole. My husband bought these for me and when I first saw them, I thought "this boot is going to be uncomfortable like all sexy, good looking boots" - I was so wrong. Thanks Zappos for making shopping so easy!

I *heart* these boots! I've been a big fan of Sofft for the last few years. When I found this boot I was VERY excited and ordered it straight away. Unfortunately when I measured my calf I did so with my foot flat, not thinking about what would happen with a 3-inch heel. Turns out my calves are too big!! Took them to a local cobbler, who can't stretch them due to the so cute seaming detail along the back of the boot. However, I can say that they were very comfortable (I wore them around my house for 3 hours after my 10-hour workday...zipped only halfway up). But overall, a beautiful boot well made of quality leather. Wish it came in wide shaft!!

Attractive and comfortable to boot!! I ordered these boots just before going on a trip from Atlanta to Lake Tahoe for a week. I wore them during both travel days and was very comfortable. The heel is attractive but not too high. I would recommend them to anyone.

Very stylish, very comfortable. I can wear them all day and that is unusual for me. As always, Zappos customer service is excellent!

Good looks & comfort - mostly - Very nice looking boot and very comfortable. I wear a 9 but picked up a 9.5 - makes them more comfortable to wear for a long period. Only problem, if your calf measures larger than 16" they're going to be snug; 16.5" and they are too snug. They won't stretch enough to accommodate more. I would kill to find a company that produced good quality FASHIONALBE boots for women with larger calves without looking like rain galoshes. I want HEELS.

Love these boots! These are the most comfortable high-heeled boots I've ever worn -- instantly comfortable and they look great. They run on the large size -- comfortably wide too.

Love these boots!! I normally wear between a 9 or 10 wide (when I can find wide) depending on style and brand. I got these in a 9 1/2 wide, and they are a perfect fit. I love the style, and the heel has rubber bottom so there is no slipping or loud clacking noise when you walk. They actually don't make my feet look big. Very comfortable, even with the high heel. I am so happy I decided on these boots. I got the brown and they are more like a dark chocolate color, not a milk chocolate color. The calves are a little big, but my calves are kind of small and I do have the same problem with most boots. Hope this helps.

I wear them a lot - I do a fair amount of walking in NYC and these boots feel great. I have terrible achy, bunion feet and I can always get through the work day. They nice when I put them on and did not really need "breaking in". They are great for work and I wear them with skirts all the time.

Great Boot! I had bunion surgery last year and this is the first heeled boot I've worn since. I've worn them for more than a 12-hour day with no problems. I thought they felt very true to size.

Love these boots! I've been looking for a nice boot for awhile now that looks great and that fits comfortably, too. I have wide feet so none of the new styles ever fit in a way that would allow for me to wear them for more than a couple of hours. But these fit great! The cushioning, width, and heel height is perfect; and I can actually wear these ones all day!

This shoe is great! This boot fits great and is very comfortable. I wear them out, and about all day and night and my feet still don't hurt. It's the perfect heel height.

Great boots! They are very comfortable and nice looking. My only complaint is that the heel has already started to get chipped, so I will have to replace them at the end of winter. Still, they were worth the expense!

Sofft Tyla - Just received these today and I could not be happier. These boots are beautiful, the leather is soft, color is great and the detail up the back makes them stand out. They are super comfortable and very cute on. They are a bit loose on my calves, but it's okay with me because my jeans fit comfortably tucked in. So glad I found them!

Sooo comfortable - Another great shoe from Sofft. I didn't imagine that boots can be this comfortable. I don't have big calves and they were a little loose, but the foot is so comfortable that it is worth it. As usual, the buying experience from Zappos was superior.

Love these boots - They fit great and the leather is so soft and nice, they feel broken in right from the start. I work on my feet and wore them comfortably for about 5 hours, but then the height of the heel became a little sore. There is enough room for a wide foot and a high heel and... so cute.

Sofft Tyla - Jackpot! Like many women, I have a problem finding tall boots that comfortably fit over my calf. At about 15 inches, my calves are usually too large for "regular" shaft boots, and too small for wide calf boots. I just got the Tyla today, hoping that this would finally be one that I might be able to make work, after reading all of the reviews. And it is GREAT. It's snug in the calf without being too tight. The leather is gorgeous and supple, and the stitch detailing up the back is a nice touch. I'm 5'8" and the shaft is tall enough to hit me just below the knee. The foot is a little roomier than you'd think, but this is okay for me because I can wear thick socks in there. And it is COMFORTABLE. Like slippers. I'm in love. This is a good, solid, classic tall black boot and well worth the price. And, as always, Zappos' customer service is second to none. If you're debating about getting this boot, give it a try - with Zappos' great return & exchange policies, you've got nothing to lose...and maybe a perfect boot to gain.

I Wish There Were 10 Stars - I get tons of compliments on these boots. The lacing up the back is sexy without being distracting and looks good with anything. I've worn them with everything from velvet to jeans. The biggest plus is that these are the most comfortable shoes I own. I wear them to travel, run through airports, stand on my feet they are great. I live in Colorado and snow and wet don't damage them. I did treat them with water repellant. I'm going to buy a second pair in brown.

Beautiful, Practical Boot. I am a size 12 regular, 6' tall and my calf is neither narrow, nor wide enough for "wide" boots. This boot was not only beautiful, I can wear it all day with comfort and I am not used to heels at all. It's very tall, which I liked very much and the leather is snug and not prone to creasing. The zipper seems very sturdy, and the heel, which looked a little strange in the picture, is actually quite cute. I have made this brand a favorite.

A comfortable, attractive, classic with a twist - These are great boots for a good price. I was able to wear them straight out of the box with zero problems (i.e. no painful rubbing or blisters because the leather is so soft). I did have to get an insole because it's roomier in the foot area than I was expecting, but that made them even more comfortable. The footbed is pretty cushy even without one and the heel is high enough to look good and add lift, but totally manageable and comfortable (especially if you're used to wearing high heels). I really can't get over how comfortable these boots are. Plus they look great and go with everything. The lace-up detailing in the back is a cute, subtle touch and makes these boots stand out.

Sofft Tyla - These are beautiful boots and felt comfortable, but I ended up returning them. The shaft was fine (and I'm a runner so I have fairly muscular thighs), but I found it to be very bulky or baggy in the ankle area, and I didn't like the look it created.

Love These Boots!! These cute boots fit perfect! Shoe shopping is usually disappointing for me, due to my wide foot, the 9.5 wide fit perfect. No break in whatsoever, so soft right out of the box. I've just ordered a second pair in black. Zappos service is incredible, from the overnight shipping to the easy return procedure. I now enjoy shoe shopping!!

Very comfortable boot. Very comfortable and stylish boot. I have small calves and wish the boot was a bit tighter around the ankle and calves.

Wide Calf Boot For Sure! These boots were fantastic, built well and stylish. However they really are huge in the calf. I am 5'2 and about 130, I weight train 4 days a week and have very muscular calves and still this boot hung off my legs a good 2 1/2 inches.

Lovely, comfortable, boot! I love these boots! The back detail totally sold me: just a touch of sexiness but still classy. They are very comfortable, and obviously made of quality material. The shaft is a tad on the large side, but not so much to prevent my purchase in both black and brown. I have average-sized calves, so if you have skinny calves they may not be the boot for you. This was my first pricey-boot-splurge and they are well worth it!
